You do NOT want this company touching your house! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Donnelly Stucco had my daughter's heartfelt review taken down. My daughter was living at home when Donnell started working here. Because of Donnelly's deceit and ineptitude my daughter was forced to move out. This is what my daughter wrote: WARNING to anyone looking to use Donnelly Stucco or if you are one of the unfortunate one's who have already used them, get their work re-checked by a new contractor! After suffering for years with medical problems, we discovered I was suffering from mold toxicity due to water leaking into the stucco of my parents' house. Donnelly and their employees were very aware of this. DONNELLY STUCCO LEFT WATER DAMAGED/MOLDY BOARDS ON THE HOUSE, BOARDED THEM UP AND CLAIMED IT TO BE A SUCCESSFUL REMEDIATION!! Look at the photos below and decide for yourself if it looks successful. Absolutely disgusting, unlawful, and makes it very evident what type of people own and work here!! It will be my mission to ensure no one else will have to suffer like my family and I have due to Donnelly's deceptive actions. Based on this and all of the code violations, already discovered by new contractors, Donnelly should immediately lose their license! Yelp, What was your basis for not recommending her review. Here is your criteria: 1. It contains false information 2. It was posted by someone affiliated with the business 3. It was posted by a competitor or ex-employee 4. I contacted Foley Exteriors and set up an estimate. Patrick came out and I was very impressed by him: professional, respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. 1st: his Grandfather started the company in 1910, so it truly is a family owned company. I had researched questions to ask and actually had a full page of them. Patrick patiently and thoroughly answered each and every one. I also was relieved to learn that he doesn't sub-contract out and some of his crew have been w/ him for several years. I did go w/ his company and am so impressed w/ the work they did. They checked behind the crack to make sure more damage wasn't done, fixed the crack, re-stuccoed (if that's a word), caulked, painted, etc. As I said, I am so impressed: you can't even tell that a repair was done there! I am thrilled! Also, they totally cleaned up everything, how refreshing! I did read the reviews about Patrick not getting back to people. Yes, he needs to improve w/ this: I did have to contact him a couple of times to check on scheduling, etc. Once I did, he did get back to me w/ in 24 hours, so for me it wasn't a big deal. Therefore, I have no qualms about leaving an excellent review for Patrick and his company. I only wish he was a general contractor so they could do any/ all house repairs that may come up! Excellent job!

If you need something painted ASAP, they will get the job done, but if you want it done well I'd recommend finding one of the other well-rated painting businesses in town (they often have waitlists in the 1-3 year length!). We had purchased a home that was overdue for painting, so we had to get it done in 2022, and they did an adequate job at the time. Like other reviews have mentioned, Paris isn't a very detail-oriented company. The workers who were sent out to prep our house didn't know it had lead paint, so had to be reminded to take precautions with laying dropcloths, wearing masks, etc. (This happened essentially every time we had someone out to work on the house over the three years we've worked with them.) People have repeatedly come into our yard without warning to look at the site, one time leaving our gate open so our dog escaped. During the main work, the project manager was rarely on site. Hardware was put back on our house upside down (house numbers and shutter hardware). Workers often didn't know which colors went where. Once the paint was "finished" we had to call them back once if not twice to have someone come out and catch places that were not fully painted. But by the time they were finished in 2022 the house looked good! In 2023 the house still looked okay, but by 2024 the paint had begun to bubble and peel, mostly because the prep had not been done sufficiently. We had Paris out to look at the house in 2024 and they did a little bit of touch-up, but only in the very specific places I pointed out, and even missing a few of those. The places I pointed out were supposed to be examples of the overall issues. In 2025, with our warranty running out, we had them back out to do the touchups. Again the first time workers came out, they only addressed a few of the specific places I had highlighted, even though the majority of every exterior wall was peeling and needed work. Eventually I took 20+ photos of the most egregious issues and those were addressed. I can't remember how many times we've had someone out this season. We weren't fully satisfied by the final visit, but decided we'd had enough of dealing with them. I'm sure we'll continue finding issues-- we recently discovered that workers caulked our garage attic access door shut (?!) without us asking them to, so that had to be cut open again and damaged the paint once again. Basically, if you hire Paris, be prepared to serve as your own project manager. Without our repeated follow-ups the work would have been a 1-star or 2-star quality. As it is, I'd rate the experience as "okay."

Our painting crew and crew chief Tony, and our carpenter Toby, were helpful and meticulous in ensuring everything was repaired, primed, and repainted to our satisfaction. Toby even showed us how to internally disassemble the exterior sliding-door storm windows we have on a back sunroom, so that in the future I can better monitor and touch-up the external windowsill and vertical frame paint to prevent the need for window replacements over the next decade. The painting team's semi-gloss paint brand was matched well to our metal trim color and designed to guard against the Minnesota elements, while Toby's cedar woodwork was solid and precise -- so we're optimistic that Paris' 3-year work-quality warranty won't be needed to call them back into action. We appreciated the comprehensive and detailed estimate they provided for their carpentry-repair and painting, and their willingness to ensure their work was good quality and capable of indefinitely maintaining our house windows' and garage trims' structural integrity.

A few minor things here and there, but with a large job in a house where the surfaces weren't well maintained by the previous owners, I was more than pleased. There was one room that was getting multiple colors and it was initially done incorrectly, but they fixed it right away and were so polite about the mistake. The manager on the job walked through with me when everything was finished and touched up any spots that needed it. We then contacted them to paint some areas in our old home we were selling, and to paint the entire exterior of the new home. I will say this: it is hard to pick a house color from a tiny swatch, but it looks great, and very much needed the refresh. One complaint: there was a bird nest on a light fixture that I was expecting would have been removed during painting to paint the siding behind it. But when the job was completed, the nest was still there. I asked the manager and the painter if they painted behind the nest, and the painter said yes, he moved it aside and used a brush. Well the next summer, the nest blew down and there is an outline of the nest in paint, similar to what you would see in a cartoon. Not the biggest deal, we can climb a ladder and slap some paint up there, but when I specifically asked, I now see he was not quite honest about that part. The birds rebuilt their nest in about a week anyways and they aren't bad tenants, so I haven't evicted them yet. Maybe next summer.
