We stayed at the hotel and came here for an easy breakfast. It has hotel restaurant vibes. The eggs Benedict was solid, with the hollandaise sauce on the more lemon forward side. Very crispy well seasoned fried potatoes. Lots of condiments to choose from, our fav Cholula included. Our waitress was very kind and prompt while serving the whole establishment ~ 8 other tables ~9am on a Thursday. The only subpar part of my experience was that the tea's hot water came from a coffee machine and had lingering flavor. My partner didn't enjoy the sourdough toast. read more

We dined in on a Friday night with our 2 year old. It was nice that they had live music in the lobby of the hotel. I could only give 3 reviews as our server was new and didn't seem to know a lot about the menu or what came on items. When we asked about a kids menu she told us the items they had but there was no menu for it. I ordered a grilled cheese and fries for my kiddo and while it would have been good for an adult, the bread was toasted much too hard. She only wanted to eat the cheese off of it because it hurt her mouth to eat. We started off with truffle fries which were petty tasty. I ordered a warehouse burger without cheese, medium well. I was a bit surprised to see that it ended up being $20 (I think it was about $4 to sub fries). The burger was a pre-formed patty that didn't have much flavor. The burger didn't come with ketchup or mustard (not even on the side) so that was odd to me. My husband ordered the mushroom risotto and added shrimp. I tasted it and thought it was pretty good - he liked it. The shocker was when our bill came - with tip it came to over $100. For sure not worth what we got. read more

We came in tonight pretty empty but I believe the bartender was also the only server possibly. We got salmon and t-bone. The salmon was extremely dry and very fishy also seemed possibly frozen and not fresh. It was very disappointing and honestly I had to have my boyfriend give me half of his steak. The restaurant inside Hotel Indigo was an unexpected surprise. Breakfast was fabulous. We had the brioche French toast. Dinner was very surprising. The chicken forestiere was absolutely delicious. Had dinner at the Warehouse KiTchen tonight. Limited menu. my husband had the burger and I had the walleye. Our friends had the black bean sliders. Service was excellent. Food was mediocre. There was nothing good or bad about dinner... just not memorable blue or "tasty". Music started which could have been enjoyable but it was so loud, we couldn't hear each other talk at our table which made it not enjoyable. This is not a restaurant we would return to. read more

Sitting here for 15 minutes. Sat down just before 930. The waitress told us she was going to wait to take our order because the kitchen is so backed up and overwhelmed that it wouldn't make a difference if she took our order right away. It's gonna be a while before our food comes. We booked some activities today that are time sensitive so thank God we are eating here. Started the review with 2 stars before I even ordered. We will see if the food is good. If so I may edit this review. So our ride is almost here. Had to cancel breakfast order at 1000. Because we weren't expecting the ride to get here until 1030. She was apologetic and grabbed us some croissants at no charge. The "sisters" aren't here this weekend so I guess things aren't going well in the kitchen. But they are busy and trying. read more

Was really surprised that I had such a nice meal at the bar! The reviews on Yelp are pretty rough, so the only reason I ate here was due to the fact that Alliance (across street) was closed and I am staying at the hotel... That said, my cocktail was perfectly made, the beef stew was shockingly fresh/delicious and my beet/Apple salad was much better than expected. Not a bad place to try if you are staying at Hotel Indigo. Eat at the bar though as the restaurant decor is a mix between your great grandmother's nursing home and an old Big Boy :) read more

Worst service ever. First we went for happy hour. Two waiters were helping our table. We had to ask for things multiple times and they were both seemed annoyed by us. They brought us our appetizers and took 100 years to get us plates and silverware. They were out of all fried things and then out of what we actually ordered. We were the only table in there. Then we were forced to go for breakfast the next day. Again, only table in there and horrible service. Took forever to get coffee and food. I asked for no meat with my eggs and my plate was piled with bacon. I had coffee splashed on me. Just such a bad experience overall. read more

We have always stayed at the Indigo and enjoyed the breakfasts. This year things have definitely gone down hill. The interaction with a server is almost completely eliminated which I can understand. However, the food quality was poor. The potatoes were greasy crumbs of what seemed like the leftovers from a fryer one day and then raw the next day. Do yourself a favor and order breakfast from the market across the street. You can get the most amazing egg sandwich for less than the price of the egg sandwich at the Indigo restaurant! read more

We had dinner at Warehouse+Cork during Traverse City Restauaurant Week. A very disappointing experience, & one that we would not repeat. The first clue should have been when I tried to make reservations at 5 other TC restaurants & they were all booked, while this restaurant had plenty of availability. We went with another couple, arrived to find no Greeter, just seat yourself. The restaurant is basically just an extension of the bar. Service was uneven, took a while to order, took a while to get served & then the entree arrived before we finished the appetizer. The risotto was undercooked, grainy & too chewy. Shepard's Pie was ok, but served cold, as were ALL 4 entree's. I ordered Creme Brulee for dessert. The presentation was attractive, but the texture was thin, like soup, instead of custard. Avoid this place, a waste of money & time-there are too many other really good restaurants in TC. read more

Has potential but needs work. Got their food as room service at hotel. Was wildly overpriced considering the portion size. The steak was very good but small. The salmon was very good but really lacked accompanying sides. The calamari was not very good. Tasted fishy, amid an overpowering con concoction of spicy flavoring. read more

We had planned to dine here with two other couples, but after some had read the reviews, they chose to dine at a different local restaurant. So a few days later, my husband and I decided to give this a try. I'm not sure where these other reviews came from, but I can tell you, our experience was wonderful ! There were two waiters, Nick and Dennis, that were very attentive but not intrusive. They gave us time and space to choose our drinks and meals. We both enjoyed very flavorful, well balanced, attractive meals. We chose the shrimp fettuccine and the buttermilk fried chicken and waffels. The fettuccine was very flavorful, without being just butter and heavy cream with some parmesan. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside, while staying moist on the inside. Our waiters checked in on us in a very timely manner, and were very helpful and knowledgable. So the decor isn't anything to write home about, I found it to be a cross between a boardroom and a lounge, but not all the way horrible. This place is called warehouse kitchen and cork but it looks like grandmas house. It seems like they are having an identity crisis. The menu can't decide if it wants to be upscale or home cooking, and everything is WAY more expensive then it's worth. When i got my glass of wine...finally..the glass was dirty, and had a bad smell that i noticed immediately. When I told the server after she finally came back to take or order ( i should have just said her name loud because the lights were really bright, and the music was turned down really quiet and we could hear every little noise.) he asked me if I was sure it wasn't from my hands. I really wanted to get our order in at that point so we ordered first and i was brought back a new glass. My husbands food came out first while I sat waiting and then eventually we just both started to try the chicken. It tasted like it had been boiled and then microwaved. We hardly ate anything and asked for our check and our server didn't even ask if everything was ok. We went to red Mesa and had a great meal with great service for half the price. read more
