This tiny park packs a lot of playground punch into a small space. Overhauled with the latest trends in playground design in 2019, the park has colorful and artistic equipment reminiscent of the more well-known Levy Park (with the exception of a water bucket feature). A large border-quality wall buffers the park from the noise and chaos of highway 610 feeder traffic, and there's no need to worry that junior will run off and turn into roadkill. Parking is along the street and not an issue since this neighborhood park serve mostly locals and is never too crowded.
What it is not: not much for adults, not really for dogs, no trails, no bbq pits, no food and beverage. Essentially the city of Bellaire had some unused space left over and made the best use of it. This park is totally and truly for kids, although the young-at-heart may enjoy the modern swing machines if the little tikes are willing to share.
5/5 for kids, 2/5 for everyone older - I'll just rank it 4/5 for what it's worth. read more
