When I got home, I realized they had given me a completely different color. Mistakes happen -- that part wasn't the issue. I went back and asked if they could retrieve my original can from the trash so they could properly match the color. It had already been thrown out, so I took time to find the closest match from their color samples. They remade the paint... and then tried to charge me again for correcting their mistake. I was shocked. The incorrect color was not my error -- it was theirs. Yet they refused to take responsibility and attempted to make me pay for it. That is unacceptable customer service. When a business makes a mistake, it should own it and fix it without putting the burden on the customer. Instead, I was treated with complete disregard and disrespect. I will not be returning, and I don't recommend this store to anyone who values fairness, accountability, or basic customer service.

This morning I went in to find a hair product and I was checking my phone for reviews and when I looked up, all of the associates were eyeing me suspiciously as if I was going to shoplift which is just outrageous. After shopping around, I found this Ace Hardware was actually a bit cheaper than the big-box home improvement stores. Ordering online was easy (and don't forget to go through your favorite cash-back website before checking out...). My order was ready for in-store pickup a few days later. Pickup couldn't have been easier. They even offered to help carry everything out to my car, but carrying ten 40-pound bags is lovely exercise... so I declined. The store is easy to get to, just off Route 59, with a convenient parking lot and quick access in and out. It's branded as Wallauer Paint & Hardware, but it's also an Ace Hardware location. In addition to the usual hardware selection, they carry a full line of Benjamin Moore paints. Smooth experience, competitive prices, and friendly service. I'll definitely check here the next time I need supplies.

Today there were plenty of shoppers and friendly staff ready to help. It's a bit cramped and it will be unlikely that you get a lot of deals, although they do have after holiday sales. Next door is a Pottery Barn. Plenty of parking and near the Wegmans complex, with various eateries as well.

Why would I exclusively shop at one place? The answer is quite simple. They have unbeatable prices, fast shipping, and phenomenal customer service! The company I work for has an account with them, so the prices are ridiculously cheap; there's is absolutely no comparison. Their prices are usually 20-25% cheaper than the regular retail price. They're really good about shipping. Anytime I purchase an in stock item, they'll ship it out the same day and I will usually receive it the next day. Their customer service is top notch, I usually deal with a sales rep by the name Don; Don's the best! If I have any question about something I'm not familiar with or what kind of lock would be good with a certain application, he's pretty good at making a suggestion. A couple times I needed some out of stock items expedited and he was able to get them to me fairly quick. There's also been instances when I needed a something same day and I was able to pick it up directly from them. If you're a locksmith or a technician I highly recommend you check this place out!
