Wardour has great customer service and are great at their job. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs! I've used them to install a furnace and replace a coil in my condenser until. They didnt have a bunch of hidden charges and they were honest about the work that needed to be done. The value is worth it and the workmanship is great. I'll only call them for my HAVAC service needs. read more

Discovered a leak in our AC during our recent heat wave, and had Wardour recommended to me. Pam in their office was very helpful, and got a team out the same day (impressive, since I assume this is a very busy time). The team arrived on time, checked both units and did repairs, all in an hour. They were efficient and tidy, and I'd absolutely use them again. read more

We had a 20 year old unit that needed replacement and our ducting was not installed correctly or efficiently. Wardour has very competitive pricing that will cater to your needs, and customer service is fantastic. We called a lot of HVAC companies including NextGen and other referrals, but Ron at Wardour was the best all around. friendly, fair, and the customer service was outstanding. He is there to help not take all your money. A special thanks to Ron and all the technicians and installers that worked on our property. They were very respectful of our house and hard working. Our project was completed quickly, only 2 days. Strongly recommend you call these guys and compare them for yourselves. read more

Great service, trustworthy +clean and polite. Had them out to service my a/c and heating.

We had an issue with our HVAC unit in our commercial building and called other services that were not available for 5 to 6 days. When we called Wardour heating and air-conditioning, they came to us same day and had great customer service. Jesus was attentive and reliable and understood the issue and fixed it same day. He also replaced a filter at no cost. It's hard to find good service that you would like to recommend. I highly recommend contacting Wardour heating and air-conditioning. read more

I can't speak highly enough about Joel Wardour, and his crew who worked on our AC (Ricardo, Jesus, Mario, Eric & Diego). After already speaking with 2 other highly recommended HVAC companies (1 of them extremely popular in our area), who both told me I "needed a new unit", Joel was the 3rd company I spoke with, because our friends also used him and gave us a glowing review. Joel could've easily sold me a bill of goods by replacing my unit, which wasn't even the problem. After coming over to do a thorough inspection, he told me it was a ducting issue, not an AC unit issue. Funniest part is, the other well-known company didn't even take the time to inspect my attic/ducting. Immediately, you could tell that Joel was a pro, and knew what he was doing. Best part is, there wasn't a trace of a hard sell either. After getting an estimate the next day which was very fair, we immediately booked Joel and his crew to do the ducting work. His crew (Ricardo, Jesus, Mario, Eric & Diego) showed up promptly and knocked the job out in 2 days time. Not only were they polite, thorough and detailed, but did an exceptional job cleaning up too, leaving the place nicer than when they showed up. Moving forward, Wardour HVAC is my go-to. It's nice to have a HVAC company you can trust, knowing they won't rip you off, upsell you on some BS you don't need, and most importantly, they aren't too big of a company that they jack up prices and treat you like just another number. Thank you Joel, Ricardo, Jesus, Mario, Eric & Diego! The AC is cranking, and my wife's a happy camper...which means that by default, so am I ;) read more

I normally don't leave any comments on services, but this company deserves it. Last night our a/c stop working and mid-august the weather is not nice. Called Wardour first thing Saturday morning, no answer, even though it showed hours 0830-1200. Tried to call a few times cuz I really needed the a/c to keep us comfortable. No one answered nor did I leave a message thinking whom to call now because I could not wait till Monday morning. Within a few minutes, Pam from Wardour reached out to me via text to see if I had an emergency. I replied it was kinda sorta important and she schedules Alex to come out within 90 mins. Fantastic! Then joel(owner) calls me to see what I needed. Ok over the top service. 2 hours later, everything is back to normal at my house. Any heating or a/c issues, don't waste your time with other companies, call Joel and his company. read more

We moved to a new home this year and had to completely redo our Heating system and needed to install A/C for the entire house. It was a massive and complex project due to the age and layout of our home. Joel Wardour was recommended by a family friend. We received many estimates and ideas of what to do but Joel's ideas and estimates were by far the most comprehensive and reasonable. Joel was honest, precise, and very knowledgeable about all of the systems available and what would truly work best for our home. Once the work got started, both Joel and Jesus Rivera were in frequent contact with me and explained the process. The crew got my opinion every step of the way on where to put vents, mini-splits, thermostats, etc. We had two separate ducted systems installed along with 3 mini-splits. It was a complex project that Joel and his team completed with precision. I was so pleased that everyday after the crew of workers left, things were cleaned up. They were very respectful of our home, always covering furniture with plastic and laying paper on the floors. They were also sweet to my two little boys and dog who were curious about what they were doing. Thank you to all the hard-working individuals including Kenny, Jesus, Alex, Mario, Diego, and Ricardo! Also thank you to Diana at the office who always kept me updated and was so kind. Finally thank you to Joel! We are so pleased (and cozy warm for the holidays) in our home! Thank you, thank you!!! We recently purchased a 1950's home with much to be done! We immediately bought a new HAVC system and relocated the unit from an old closet to the attic. We also replaced the condenser outside. Wardour Heating and Air did a clean, quick, thorough job at a reasonable price with respectful, well-mannered employees:) we will continue to use this company:) read more

5 stars just aren't enough! Joel and his guys replaced our old and very expensive to run HVAC system in just a few days. The guys were all super nice so it made what would normally be a dreaded experience very nice! We found Wardour after 2 other neighbors had used them and loved them. Joel found us a compressor for the AC that is incredibly quiet! We can sit out on our deck and have a conversation now. Wish we'd done this when we moved in 5 years ago! read more

I decided to upgrade my thermostat, and called Wardour. They installed our furnace and thermostat in 2013, and we had a great experience with them. The office manager was really helpful and friendly. She checked with installers to make sure that the thermostat model I was about to buy on Amazon would be compatible; I had an answer the same day. Alex Kim arrived on time, installed it quickly, and waited until I made sure it connected to our WiFi. Overall, a super-professional guy! I completely recommend Wardour for any of your HVAC needs. read more

I had A/C put in. I found Joel honest, straightforward and true to his word. He worked through the options and I saved a lot of money based on his recommendations. His crew did a great and quick job. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

I am very impressed by these guys. I was on vacation when my staff at my local business sent me pictures of ceiling tiles getting huge water spots from something backed up in the HVAC roof unit. Joel was one of the few guys to respond in a reasonable amount of time. He sent a guy to work on it on Saturday, and he arrived earlier than expected, before the heat of the day so we were very thankful! Unfortunately his work didn't cure it all, a day later we saw a little more water coming out which needed a second visit for a clog further down the line from the unit. Joel sent his guys out as soon as he could and it's now all better! Timely, efficient, helpful, and very reasonably priced, Wardour Heating is now our go to for any HVAC issue. read more

I have used Wardour for years and I cannot begin to say how excellent they are. They are responsive, reasonable, knowledgeable and thorough. They have repaired our furnace, our heat pumps, added ductless air systems and replaced controllers. I would never call any other company. read more

HONEST, FAST, OLD SCHOOL PROFESSIONAL EXPERTS! After Ritz couldn't figure out why the new gas wall heater they sold me a year ago wasn't lighting, they gave up and said it wasn't fixable. Wardour arrived in Hours, diagnoses the problem and replaced my pilot generator in 15mins. Jesus is a no nonsense genius of this field. Saved me $1,200 and the BS from other scam artists. read more

Wardour installed my system nine years ago. Been great up until recently when the blower motor went out. The motor was out of warranty and hard to find. Alex was out to troubleshoot and identify the issue. Jesus kept me informed on parts acquisition and scheduling. Alex returned at the scheduled time for installation and all is well. While it was explained that this particular part is very expensive and hard to come by, Jesus and Alex did all they could to make it as painless as possible. read more

When my furnace recently stopped working I feared a week or two with no heat. I called Wardour, they called back right away, AND again the next morning to say that their guy was on his way. I had Joel come out for a quote to replace my 35+ year old heater and install new A/C and replace some ducting. He was knowledgeable and even though my layout was not easy to work, with he found a way to get it done. His team was on time, courteous, skilled and friendly. They all worked well together and always kept me updated as to what was going on and what time they would be at my house. As I said, the install was not an easy one and Joel and his team made it work. Go with Joel Wardour and you won't be disappointed. read more

Wardour Heating is the only company we will use for our heat & a/c systems at the office. They are always able to come same day and within the hour when we have an emergency come up. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Joel and his team were amazing. Professional and reasonable, while other companies were trying to pitch me on a whole new AC, they felt we could fix what I had and get a few more years out of it. When it IS time for a new AC, I'm coming to Wardour. read more

Wardour HVAC installed our A/C unit to our pre-existing furnace about 3 years ago. When we went to turn on the A/C for the 1st time this season last night, the A/C wasn't blowing cold air. This morning I called Wardour hoping to get someone out within a few days. They were out here in about 2 hours. Alex identified the problem and immediately took care of it. I wasn't even charged. I chose Wardour originally based on the great reviews for Joel and Company. Now, I'm really happy with that choice. read more

I am 59 years old and have lived in Southern California all my life. I have never lived in a house with air conditioning. When it came time for us to replace our heating system, we decided to add air conditioning. There was a Wardour's truck in the neighborhood, so we called them. They had good reviews. Our experience with them was no different. The Wardour team is Joel, Diana and Jesus. Together they did a very professional job of removing and replacing our old heating system, taking care of permits, and answering all of our questions. Joel came by before, during and after the job to make sure everything was correct. I think these guys are great and would recommend them to anybody who wants a new heating and air conditioning system installed. They do a very professional job but add that personal touch. read more

Called Wardour Heating & Air Conditioner at 8:30 this morning (310) 543-2422. They were super busy but made the time to squeeze me in. Jesus was here at 10:30, had AC working by 10:50 am. Joel Wardour has been our family HVAC guy for over 18 years. From major installs, repairs, or troubleshooting, he is an expert at his trade. His employees are just as professional. At an apartment I manage, he saved my client a lot of money by rebuilding the existing wall unit and fixing it so we didn't need to make new holes in the wall with a newer unit. My family likes to bother him to regularly check everything he's installed in my house every couple years. We mainly do this because we don't want it to crap out when he's super busy during heat waves and cold snaps. Joel installs quality equipment the correct way. We have a dual zone HVAC in our house and a heat pump in our sunroom. When my clients have home inspections with HVAC, I can count on him to give reliable advice and competitive quotes. Please don't ever retire! read more

Wardour Heating installed a new heating and air conditioning system in our home, and we are extremely pleased with the end result. I highly, highly recommend Wardour Heating to anyone who is looking for a new heating and air conditioner system. Joel Wardour (owner) had our family's best interests at heart throughout the entire process, above and beyond making more money or selling more expensive equipment. We discussed different options, from zoning to micro-split to traditional central air conditioning - he listened carefully to our needs and preferences and presented an effective, logical and very reasonably priced proposal. The process was well thought out. Power lines and exterior work were installed discreetly and in a non-descript manner. Jesus (foreman) and the crew itself were always professional and attentive to our needs and I appreciated the extra efforts they made to keep our home clean throughout the installation process. It was clear that the team was very experienced and they worked hard to maximize comfort, save energy/power and minimize noise once the A/C installation was complete. This company knows what it's doing, they are well prepared and they will save you money while getting you the most effective option available. I highly, highly recommend Wardour Heating! read more

Joel and his team just installed a new system in my home. They identified the best options for my family (including the option of just cooling/heating the master bedroom to save energy costs!) and did a great job with installation. Rejoice!! There is still a company that gives excellent customer service and employs professional, experienced workers. We recently contacted Joel Wardour at Wardour A/C and Heating to schedule replacing our system and we were given a timely and competitive estimate. They did an amazing job, were courteous and efficient and we would recommend them to anyone who is concerned about getting the right company to do a job such as replacing your A/C Heating system. read more

We've used this company on three occasions and have been more than delighted with the results. Joel is very knowledgeable and has made repairs quickly and efficiently. I lost my central A/C and Joel responded the same day, courteous and helpful as always, found the defective part and obtained it from Lakewood and installed it., In the middle of a heat wave, so I had A/C that night. We couldn't be happier with our air conditioning system and new furnace and ducts install. I'm so thankful that a friend highly recommended Wardour. We had to wait two months before work could start because they were backed up and busy making sure to attend to their existing customer base before starting new work. This said volumes about their loyalty to their customers. The owner, Joel, spent more time and effort calculating the most efficient A/C size for our space than the other two contractors who came by to give estimates. He also was more creative and determined to use existing space to install an additional air return for our two-story home instead of having to give up valuable hall closet space as suggested by the other HVAC competitors. His crew was great as well. They were friendly, professional and hard-working. Not only was Joel pleasant and quickly responsive to any questions or concerns, he genuinely cared about our needs and comfort. If you are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and trustworthy heating and air specialist, who is also reasonably priced, we highly recommend Wardour Heating. read more
