On 11-19-2025 we had a backed up sewer line. We had another company come out to snake it and he was only able to get to 45 feet and couldn't get any further. This was inside our property line. Our first call was to Warden Construction to come out give an estimate to do trenchless sewer replacement. Ry Warden, owner, came out and used his camera and was able to go out 60 feet to the middle of the width of our alley and marked it with paint on the asphalt surface. This spot ended up being directly above the sewer main. He said he believed it was the city's problem. Ry did not charge us at all to come out and for the camera work he did. Said he was in the area. If we ever need any work done in the future we will definitely call him. The city had us call someone in to hydro jet the sewer line and then use a camera. This company was also unable to clear the line and their camera ended up in the exact same spot. The city ended up having to the fix the problem at no expense to us. read more

We needed to redirect a sewer line in our back yard. We got an astronomical quote from a sewer company, so we called another company, for a second quote. They referred us to Warden Construction. Ry from Warden Construction assessed the situation, explained what needs to be done and gave us a much lower quote. He applied for the city permit, so we didn't need to deal with that. He was aware of all the city codes related to sewer pipe redirection. He did everything up to code, and scheduled an inspection. The city representative came to inspect his work, and gave her ok. Overall, scheduling, solving the problem and processing payment was a breeze. He is very pleasant and easy going. One more thing we like about him is that he doesn't try to milk customers for work or money. There were a few unrelated plumbing things he thought we could fix on your own, and he gave us some tips. If we have another outdoor plumbing problem, he is the first guy we will call. read more

I've got an update on what has become the ongoing Warden Construction drama. First off, I'd really like to clarify a few points out of my last review. While he did in fact never contact me after the assessment, he was not the one that asked my roommate about my money situation. He came on site with another contractor, thinking they'd do the job together, and the OTHER contractor was the one asking about my finances, not Ry. I was not immediately aware of this, as I wasn't home at the time of the assessment, but after speaking with Ry and my roommate, I was able to clear that up. My apologies to anyone involved, it truly was a misunderstanding. Ry has assured me that he does not associate with this other contractor anymore and was very upset with his behavior. WITH THAT SAID, I still will never, ever, ever, do business with Ry. Why? Because he's now been contacting me on a very regular basis since I posted my negative review 2 months ago. He never contacted me after the assessment, despite my phone calls and emails, but since posting my negative review he has called my phone, sent me emails and sent me Yelp messages, asking me to remove my review. Here's my favorite part: when he calls me, he calls, hangs up, calls back, hangs up, calls back, hangs up. Well, you get the picture. Finally, one day, I answered (it was an unknown number, so I didn't answer the first few times he called), and he apologized for his behavior, we straightened out the details of what actually happened, and I agreed to remove the part of my review in which I said he was asking about my finances. Since then, he's continued to call on a daily basis, email and yelp message me asking me to remove the review. I've reported his behavior to the Yelp team, blocked his phone number from my phone and have all emails from him routing to the trash. I understand the business owner's desire to have a reputable standing on Yelp and the internet in general, but this guy is seriously going about it the wrong way. You cannot harass, guilt, or bully people into removing their reviews. So will I ever work with Warden Construction? Not unless they're they only choice I have. Will everyone have the same really horrible experience as me? Probably not. I eagerly encourage anyone else out there with positive things to say about this company to do so. Editing to address owner comment: I clarified the "untrue" parts of my previous post, as I had no idea what the 'real' story was since you never actually bothered to tell me after it all happened. All the parts I've covered in THIS review and my previous review regarding your attentiveness and customer communication are not fabricated. I have email and phone records to prove you never responded to me until after I posted my Yelp review, as well as to prove that you have been borderline harassing me for nearly two months. My downspouts were draining into my side yard and hadn't been connected to the side sewers for many years. Ry was referred to me by a sewer contractor that I'd had out to check my side sewer. The previous bad review certainly wasn't my experience at all! Ry came out promptly to give me an estimate and showed up on the appointed day to do the work. He arrived on time with one helper. Three clogged drains were dug up and replaced with modern pipes and the holes, which were much deeper than I'd imagined were laid with gravel and left open for an inspection by the City of Seattle the following morning. I talked to Ry about my kitchen sink drainage that had been routed in a pipe across my basement laundry room into another drain on the opposite side of the house --a real "head smacker!--I'm sure this was because the above side sewer connection had failed and the former owners just didn't want the expense or the work of cleaning out the side sewer or modernizing the connection. For what I considered a fair additional fee, Ry dug up the old sink drain from the outside, reopened the hole in the concrete exterior wall and connected PVC pipe through the wall to the now cleared out drain. The end of the PVC pipe inside was capped so that my plumber could attach the sink drain. All of this was done in the same day as the above work. By the time that I got home from work the following day, the inspection had taken place, the side yards and front of my house were filled in and looked much better than before! I would definitely hire Ry again and refer him to my friends. read more

Ry Warden is excellent (honest, hard working, a real pleasure). I had a leak in my water line somewhere between the house and the water main on the street. Other contractors were going to dig up the entire line and replace for $1500. Ry came in with his trenchless technology, put in a new line in under 5 hrs, and didn't tear up my yard. You can't even tell he was there. And the cost was well below the other quotes. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Oh, he also used top quality line, valves, etc. Much higher quality that what was there originally. You won't be disappointed if you have Ry do work for you. Top notch. read more

Ry from Warden construction was great. We had a sewer line problem and received a HUGE estimate from another contractor. I sent emails to several outfits asking for a quote. Ry called on a Sunday night and gave me a quote the next day. We were in a time crunch and Ry juggled jobs around to fit us in. During the job, two minor issues arose and, Ry took care of them without charging me extra. Ry told me that I did not have to give him any money until the job was complete and I was happy. I was given voicemails updating me on work status as the job progressed. When the pipe crack was fixed and clean out installed Ry took me out to inspect the work. His staff was quick, efficient, tidy, and courteous. The price was good for the work performed. read more

Ry installed 100' of seamless sewer line and a seamless fresh water line at the same time for us. Two months ago, tree roots had broken into the sewer line. The plumber that we hired to take care of the tree roots broke the line with his rooter. Thus, we were unable to dispose of water, take a bath or flush toilets. A contractor highly recommended Warden Construction. Ry took on the job and began work within two days. He worked non-stop on a rainy day until the job was completed. He also found that the roots had entered the main sewer line. He contacted the city and oversaw that work to make sure that our sewer would be working flawlessly. Before closing up the 6' deep ditch, he recommended that we consider replacing the water line at this time since the house was 50 years old and this line would probably soon be due for replacement. Inspection showed that, sure enough, the copper connection at the house was already deteriorated and leaking. Replacement now saved us a considerable amount over doing it in the future. We would have had to pay to dig the ditch again. After Ry filled in the ditch and replaced the sod. we could not tell that any work had been done. Ry's work was meticulous. My observation of Ry is that his work is superior and precise. He is thorough and did a first class job. Ry is honest and dedicated. We found him easy to work with and he really listed to our concerns. His prices are very reasonable. I truly believe you will not find a more reliable, knowledgeable and capable contractor for this kind of work than Ry Warden. read more

Had a leak in the water line between the street and house. Ry came out, evaluated the situation and provided options to resolve my problem. I found him to be reliable, courteous, hard working, thorough and honest. He patiently answered my questions and explained things, to ensure that I understood what he would do. Ry and his crew came in to fix an outdoor plumbing issue that we were having. It was a tricky job since there were multiple power lines running near the water pipe (nearly 4 feet underground), and the actual pipe run under our neighbor's driveway. Clearly we didn't want to dig up their driveway and pay for those repairs as well. Ry made himself available fairly quickly and was very careful to minimize the disruption. He was extremely thorough, worked with the city, and left the area virtually in the same state as before, not touching the driveway at all, and fixing the areas that he had to dig up to get at the pipe. And of course we're back to having water and no leak!! I tried to give Ry and his assistant a tip in addition to the fee, since they did such a great job, but he refused to take it. He assured us that there should be no more issues with the leak under the driveway, and if there is, to give him a call and he would come and fix it for free. read more
