To any and all.... I strongly advise not to ever use or have friends/family use a septic service by the name of Ward's septic. Jack Ward and his Daughter. Charged $4800 to clean out our septic and leech field. Same problem two weeks later. Came out and refused to warranty anything and even blamed it on the rain. Didn't do it during the heat wave, so rain is not it. They were rude and refused to even further discuss it. Just drove off. Highly rude and unprofessional. I tried to communicate. The rude Daughter just walked off during the conversation. I even asked her to just calm down and have a conversation about it. $4800 is a lot of money for the same problem to persist after the service is done. I was referred any a builder friend who said they should warranty their work. They were full of nothing but excuses. I left them know I'd have to seek legal recourse. Super shady! Wouldn't start any work until they had cash in hand, wouldn't take card or check. Said my septic was clogged due to wring toilet paper. They said they fixed it, but it was still leaking. Different septic company came out said it needed a filter and a new cap, and it's now fixed! Expensive lesson learned! DO NOT USE! read more

Incredibly knowledgable, solution-driven, hardworking people, who'll set all your septic needs in order. We've been going through septic problems for yearssss. Previously we paid for (what turned out to be) a sub-par, bandaid fix, which lasted only months. This led to pumping the tank every 3 or so months, again for years--in trying to avoid having to replace the entire system. Turns out, we didn't need to. Mr. Ward and family literally unearthed the problem (drain field issues), showed us the root cause (some 6 inches in diameter) and got our system back in working order, in less than a day. We're so grateful to them. They are a great bunch of folks who care, know how to diagnose and fix your problem and will get you taken care of, if you give them a call. I want to rave about Jack Ward septic and his great team. I'm selling my house and days before the photographer is due to arrive my septic alarm goes off. Immediately Jack instructs me on steps to take to prevent damage to my system. The next morning he and his team are on site, in the pouring rain inspecting the entire system from tank to field. Immediately he diagnosed the issue, and grabs his shovel to make a temporary fix so my family can get back to using our facilities while he prepares to fix the main problem. He told me he might need to bring heavy equipment to dig with, and I informed him if he did, it would destroy my lawn and the photos the realtor was about to take would be ruined. He brought even more people out and did all the work by hand to protect my lawn and the sale of my house. While he was working, he found that the 14 year old septic system was not current to today's septic inspection codes, and informed me that if the buyer of my house noticed these things, they might haggle me down thousands of dollars. So after he fixed the original problem, he had his team run to the supply shop and buy all the things required to bring my entire system up to code. Jack is a hands on business owner. He was watching everything his team did, and got down in the muck and mud to make sure the job was done right the first time. for Jack Ward and family. I might recommend Ward septic if you needed a hole dug or you needed your tank pumped. If you have an issue with your septic system these are not the guys. I honestly felt like I was on an episode of candid camera. Six 'septic' experts standing around scratching their heads not knowing which way was up, and then try to charge me a ridiculous amount (220) for the call. Romanichal? Possibly. Called Texas Aero and the guy there diagnosed the issue in 1 minute. Fixed it in 10 for less than 1/2 what jack wanted. read more

Excellent service! We had lived in our home a little over a year when we realized the septic was full and had the previous owners had not cleaned it out when they said they had. Not only they but we could not find the clean out lids. Wards came out and found the kids buried 3 feet down. They not only cleaned out the tank but serviced it and installed a new pump and risers. Fast forward a year and a half and we had our home listed for sale, the inspection listed items wrong with the septic, we called Wards and they immediately came out to look at the complaints and prove their work was done correctly. I was very impressed with Ward's Septic. I called them at 8am on a Monday morning. Jessica brought her truck out within 45 mins and had diagnosed the problem with my tank within 15 minuets of being here. About an hour later, she had pumped my tank, and fixed the clog that was causing the system to back-up. They are highly reasonable with the cost, and didn't charge me any fee to travel. Jack has put in two septic systems and fixed one for me at a rental property. He does excellent work at a very fair price and he always follows county rules in his work. He has also done some separate backhoe work for me and done an excellent job. He just came out on a Sunday morning to fix a problem where the pump had failed and things were getting messy. Took care of it beautifully in a fairly short period of time. As a funny side note two leopard frogs jumped in causing his grandson who was with him to ask for their rescue. This is on me but just want to give you an advice on this. Make sure you get a quote from them before starting the work. My pump had gone out and I was trying to get someone out quickly before the system starts backing up. After reading reviews, I called a few places and this was one of them. They came out the same day and had a pump ready to replace for me. Without further questions - DOH on me - they started the work. As they did the work, I talked to them about putting risers on all the lids so they won't be buried like they were. Again, DOH - didn't ask what they would charge, I had them do the work. My third DOH moment, I asked them about pumping the tank. They checked and said it needed to be pumped. I had them do the pumping too. To say the least, when I asked them how much, they said it was 4750. What can I do at this point except to pay since I had them do the work (without asking what it would cost). I asked for a breakdown and the pumping was 700 alone, new pump and install was 1700 (I looked online afterward and the same pump was around 400). The risers and lids was 1600. There was something else but I don't recall at the moment. So take it from me, don't feel pressure unless you can see it is beginning to backup on you and get quotes. Ward Septic Service was very responsive to our situation where the system started backing up in the home due to pump failure and some half-assed work done by the initial installer. Between the pump failure and a cracked lid, allowing surface water to flow into the tanks, he had some work to do. What impressed me the most is that he wanted to "do it right" and stuck to his original quote even though several issues came up as we discovered how many corners were cut during initial installation. He didn't jack up the price as many others are known to do. Very professional family business and all members of his team were friendy and willing to explain any changes that we required. Ward's has all the equiptment necessary to handle the major failures. I'm sure he's very capable of service or maintenance on any type septic system. Can't sing high enough praises about the service we received from Jack and Jessica and their crew. Awesome service, sense of urgency, and very friendly and patient with us. Just good, honest, hardworking folks. We feel so blessed to have found them when we did. We had a total blockage in our RV black tank and called them around 5:00 p.m. on Monday evening. They showed up earlier than expected the next morning around 11:30. We understood they had a busy schedule that day and thought it might even be early evening before they could work us in, so we were very pleasantly surprised. They were fast, professional and did a great job at a fair price. Recently, we called and asked them to come out and locate our leech field so that we can have a swimming pool installed. On short notice with an already full schedule, Mr. Ward and his crew came to my house and fixed all of my problems. I'd had a septic pump go out and had a smelly puddle in my back yard. He replaced the pump and fixed my drain field. I'd bought this house used and called Mr Ward on a friend's recommendation. By coincidence Mr. Ward happened to be the installer for my system 17 yrs ago. The system had been worked on in the interim by someone other than Mr. Ward, and he was able to get it all in working order quickly, courteously, and professionally at a more than fair price. Jack Ward and his staff did a fine job repairing our septic tank after we were told it could not be repaired. He lost the sale of a new septic tank by repairing the one we have. We had talked to several plumbers and people who repair septic tanks and waited weeks. Mr. Ward and his staff were courtieous and worked quickly and diigently to get the system repaired. Just call Mr. Ward first. We needed an entire new septic system. Good grief they are expensive. But Mr. Wards price was right in line with all the other estimates I got. But he was able to provide a service none of the others could. He kept us "on line" with the old tank, while the new system was being installed. If the old tank filled, He'd pump it out, no extra fee. The others don't all own their equipment. Was told if a pump out was needed,it would be $400 more each time. But Mr. Ward has all the heavy equipment. He calls no subs to do anything. But what really impressed me was how he ALWAYS answered his phone, and how he ALWAYS showed up when he said he would. If you've ever hired a contractor, that became impossible to contact after the contract was signed, you know why I was impressed. I made the mistake of calling someone else for the intial pump out & drain field dig & inspection. That was $750 spent, that Mr. Ward would have included in the job bid, had I called him first. Also, there are several hoops that need to be jumped through. Professional engineer assessing the site, a special septic design for your site, getting permits. Mr. Ward takes care of all that. Beware of this guy. I needed a quote on cleaning my septic lines. He showed up smoking his cigarette and would listen to all the details of our system that I was trying to explain to him. He took the cap off one of my lines, unplugged my pump and opened the pump tank. Within 3 minutes he quoted me $2500.00. He left without closing anything and left the pump unplugged. I believe he just thought I was a "dumb girl". Later I learned that he does this a lot and always quotes $2500 for cleaning lines, no matter what. Be careful when dealing with this guy. Excellent service! We had a "Maintainence Contract" with Ace Services, well they never stepped foot on our property after signing the contract (another review in progress). Unfortunately, we didn't know our tank had needed pumping until the sludge blocked the pump and filters and ruined the pump. I called Mr. Ward at 7:30 AM and his crew was out by 10:00 AM and had the system pumped and cleaned and replaced all of the damaged equipment by 1:30. Their price was expensive, but hey did a lot of work and did it well; if ACE had have done their job, it would have been about $900 less since we could have easily have preempted the equipment damage. I'm now aware that with an 8 hour course, we can be licensed to maintain our own septic systems and avoid the required "Maintainence Contract", Jessica Ward showed me the ropes to self-maintainence, so an 8-hour course and some blue gloves are in my future. Never hesitate a moment to call the Wards, they will do you a great job at a fair price. If you have a contract with a service provider, I have learned that nobody cares about the health of your septic system as you, so learn your system, pull those lids occasionally to ensure you are not about to encounter an expensive failure. read more
