It really appears that Pendleton Septic is Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde when it comes to business. I regrettable have to recommend that you look elsewhere for Septic work. Read on to find out why! Reading through some of the reviews I found common ground with almost all -- Good and bad reviews. I found Mark & especially Mark Jr very affable but when it came to getting the work done...not so much. We dug profile holes and worked with their recommended designer and got the Septic Design plan back on 9/24/2022. I Got their quote the end of September 2022, accepted their bid on 10/10/2022 and requested a start date and completion time on the contract. They stated a Start date of 10/20/2022 and done in 2-3 weeks. Sounds good...Right?? Well... They did not start on 10/20 nor was it done in 2-3 weeks. I told mark I wanted to be out of the rental we were in and in to the new property by the end of November to avoid paying another months rent and a working septic system was the only thing holding us back. NO such luck. After paying an Extra Months Rent for the Rental, We moved in to the property on 12/9/2022 with Tanks in the ground and hooked to the house but no leach field. "Go a head and move in and we will pump it if we have to" was their response. On 12/24/2022 (Yes Christmas eve 2 months after the start date) the septic tank was in and working but still no leach field, not covered or inspected as required. I wrote an email requesting a status update as when they might be able to finish the system. Admittedly there were some weather delays, and Christmas and New Years holidays. Given that, we still had to make a bunch of phone calls and text messages to get them out to finish our project. The project is just now getting finished the weekending March 10, 2023 more than 5 (Five) Months. All work is done but still waiting for inspections. The Work they perform appears to be good work when they do show up, but getting their attention and getting them to finish was exhausting. I would really like to give them a good review but this experience dictates that they need to do Much Much better. They came by to pick up the final payment with out a Thank You or even acknowledging the payment was made, which most of us would call "Common courtesy" or Good Business relations unfortunately they missed the boat once again! I would give 4-5 stars based on the work actually done, but 1 star based on My level of effort to get them out to complete the work....Thus 2 stars overall is the best I could muster. read more

They installed a $20,000 system 3 years ago and while doing a landscape project I found an old active existing tank. The engineering design required ALL existing systems drain into the new system. I have tried for 2 Months to get them to come back out to no avail. Best to stay away from this company! read more

Contacted them to repair a septic drain line and also pump out the septic tank. They came out quickly, pumped out the tank and they looked at the drain line. They were supposed to contact us to repair the line, but never did. Tried to call them and they never called back. Seemed they didn't want to repair the line. Just wanted easy money for pumping out. read more

We called Pendelton Septic over four weeks ago for a needed septic system repair. Mr. Griffor came and discussed the situation with my husband. My husband expressed the need to have this done prior to some surgery he was going to have. Nothing happened until my husband contacted them again. Then Mr. Griffor came over and dug to find the problem. Broken line to the evaporation field. Said he'd return the next week. Not a word. My husband had the surgery, contacted them again...oh they'll come this week. Not here yet and it's Thursday at 4:28. Twice they've said they'll come "this week". Never came nor did they contact us to as why they haven't shown up. They do not communicate and never do what they say. We've wasted four weeks waiting when we could have at least contacted someone else and gotten on their list earlier. Extremely frustrated. Mrs. C. read more

Called these guys out to pump my overflowing septic tank. Mark and Nathan arrived right at the scheduled time and did thorough excellent work. They had to dig up my septic access lid and did so without undue damage to my lawn. Very professional and friendly crew. Will definitely do business with Pendleton Septic again. read more

Thank goodness we called Pendleton to check our septic. We weren't sure if we needed to or not, but OH MY YES! They were very polite and quick. Very competitive pricing as well. Definitely would recommend to everyone and now have a schedule to have them out every 4 years. read more

I would highly recommend Pendleton! We recently purchased a home with existing septic and had no experience with it. We thought it was odd that the water just pumped out of a pipe at the back of the property and turns out we were right. They took the time to explain the entire system to us, fix the problem, and suggest some updates/maintenance we may want to do in the future. I was really impressed that there was no pressure to do anything or spend more money, just suggestions. And the cost to come out to go over things & fix our system was very reasonable. read more

These guys were awesome. I'm not really familiar with septic systems and I had a leak coming out of one of the tanks. I called them for a pumping and an inspection as my leech field was dry. They came out and I showed him where it was leaking and they said we may not have to pump and they knew what the problem was. Dirty filter leading to the pump tank. Unreliable, unresponsive and deceptive practices! Can't trust what they say they'll do nor rely on them for anything!

Sorry to have to post this. We had a clogged drain line and Mark was prompt to diagnose and returned to excavate and get to the root of the problem. We thought we had found a reliable septic system team. When leaks continued, Mark promised to return--NEVER DID! 4 months later these guys proved repeatedly unresponsive, unreliable and we still have a malfunctioning septic system! My advice: look elsewhere. read more

We needed our septic tanks pumped out and a new riser installed. They found problems with the original installation and corrected all the problems quickly. They replaced an electrical junction box someone in the past had closed by filling it with silicone instead of screwing the cover on, and they moved a conduit that was in the path of the additional riser we needed. They were friendly, professional, and we felt they charged a very reasonable price for their services. We highly recommend them and will be using them again. read more

The only positive is they appeared friendly. They damaged some conduit by the septic tank and charged me for the repair. So a $700 job became a $1300 job because of their $600 mistake. Terrible business practices. Beware if they break something, you pay for it!!!!! read more

Very unprofessional company. I paid in full to have them pump two septic tanks at my rental property, they ended up pumping one of the tanks partially because the truck was full to capacity and said they'd be back to finish the job the next day. They didn't show up the next day and kept making excuses why they couldn't show up day after day for the next week. These guys were great. We called another place and waited around all day. Finally we called them back and they said they couldn't get to us today after all. They wrote our phone number down wrong so they didn't call us back. It was 4:00 so my husband luckily called Pendleton. They were at our house within an hour and fixed the problem. my septic was backed up in a new place we moved in to, over full! they came and fixed the problem, 100% fixed it. I called several places there price was very fair, there service was very good, they where up front on when they could come out and do the work. not only did they fix the problem but helped me understand my system and how to check it!! not only did I do my pumping with them I allowed them to do my service contract for the year! great people!!! read more

I really wish I could post something good about Pendleton Septic Service because they came across as nice guys. I called because I wanted to have 2 caps installed on my septic tank. I spoke with Mr. Pendleton and he gave me this "oh yeah, we're practically neighbors and I can take care of that for you". He said he would try to come out On the following Friday in the evening but he didn't show nor did I hear anything from him. I contacted him a second time again he said they would try to come out on Friday evening but I had to call him back and let him know I had to go to a funeral in San Antonio on that day. I contacted him when I got back and he seemed annoyed that I called but once again said he would try for Friday evening and again no show and didn't hear from him. The next time I contacted him it was via text message. He said he had the parts in his truck and would get to it. He never showed nor did I hear from him.
