I spoke with the owner by phone about my septic issues. He spent 20 minutes telling me what a great guy he was. Told me to pick up some chemicals to help clean the system and said he would be out to fix the problem the following week. Didn't hear from him so I called and left a message. If I could give this company "0" stars I would! This company supposedly did an inspection on our septic before we purchased our home. We did NOT receive anything but a piece of paper saying an inspection was done and requested $400 payment. Not knowing exactly what was right or wrong because this was our first home with a septic, we took it with a grain of salt. That was the ONLY time we ever spoke with him. His stickers are all over our septic system, but once we moved in, not once has he returned a phone call. I've left multiple messages and one of the septic companies that came out even called him from our house and he answered. The owner of that company advised us to sign up with Texas Aerobic for a yearly contract, but whenever I called, I was put to voicemail and left multiple messages. We had a company come out and empty the septic. The company stated the system was in such bad shape and it appeared the system did not have a maintenance contract on it for over 6 years. The company stated the system should have NEVER passed an inspection, and that the "Texas Aerobic Systems" company that did it should be ashamed. So please, be mindful when calling this place! We have been using Texas Aerobic Systems for the required annual contract since January 2006 when the original new system contract expired. In those 14 years they have always returned our calls promptly, answered all out questions, and were quick to repair any problems. Their pricing for repairs is very reasonable and they are very knowledgeable and experienced in their field. We receive two inspections annually and they always leave an inspection report detailing the condition of our septic system. I would never recommend this company! According to the agreement we had signed with them they are supposed to be onsite or respond to my auto dialer within 48 hours...they disconnected my phone line without notifying me. For two days my alarm was going off- which was also on mute and I didn't know there was an issue. The compressor had failed causing the system to go into "safe mode" and the water/sludge rose so high that it was shocking that the system didn't back up into my house. Their service level and responses time is horrible I don't know how they stay in business. I called multiple times when I discovered this issue and they have YET to call me back. Professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable about septic systems. Shawn came out to my home and went through a complete review of my septic system because my alarm was going off every few days. His approach was very methodical and thorough. After checking electrical connections, float and sensor functionality, he found that root cause was pump.
