The septic system backed up into the bathrooms due to water pump failure that pumps excess water out to septic drainage field. Luckily 24/7 Septic Solutions had a truck in Hutto and was able to stop by after that location. They went straight to work and pumped out tanks and troubleshot the pump as being the main problem. They were able to get everything fixed and resolved. I had them update the tank access by installing port covers as well. They had to install a new septic alarm as well. I was working away when I heard a loud buzzer outside the window. It ended up being our septic, which was full. I made a few calls, and no one would answer until I tried 24/7 Septic Solutions. Someone answered right away and said they would be out right away as well. I thought it would be a couple of hours, but it was actually within 30 mnutes! We returned from a very pleasant multi-week trip to Europe in a great mood. After a few hours of washing what seemed like an eighteen wheeler full of clothes our Lab became agitated and even without putting my hearing aids in could hear an alarm from outside. Welcome home, 'High Water Event' in process with a breaker refusing to reset. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Ouch. We sent an email to the neighborhood contact list our area has and asked for recommendations. We received a few and I started with the reviews trying to at least not make a horrible selection even after being directed by previous customers. As always there were a few negatives, even on the 5 Star reviews, as people are people or an occasional encounter takes a surprising turn yet 24/7 seemed to be a short lister. I called the number although early on a Monday morning (well in advance of formal hours of operation). Expecting what always is encountered (voicemail) I was in touch with a real live person. Personable and knowledgeable. I described our situation and was told they would work me in the 'after 3pm' slot although the same day. I have to say I had my doubts based on experience with many trade people but figured they would be here in a day worst case. I was wrong, fifteen minutes early, in rolled a pickup truck with a couple of technicians and they got to diagnosing. Again I thought they would just diagnose with parts and such coming in the next day or so, I was wrong. Within thirty minutes, up rolled their pump-out truck and four guys were all over our place doing their magic. I was kept up to date by text messages from the team leader over the next couple hours. They emptied the tank, replaced the actual pump, cleaned up and were finished by 5pm. Wow is all I could think about, as I boasted to my spouse of 44 years about the great job I had done picking the right team. An electronic invoice showed up in my inbox, with almost to the penny what I expected after speaking with neighbors earlier. I paid electronically, they accepted all the main stream credit cards in addition to ApplePay (I used Visa but thought it pretty sharp having all the options as most of the time vendors make you pay in cash prior to leaving). A long way of saying times have not left these guys behind. Top notch, 5 star encounter start to finish. I rarely write reviews but these guys and gals deserve it. 24/7 seemed super.. James said they would pump and "pressure wash" to clean the tank after pumping for a set price (good price). My pump wasn't working and they said for no cost they would check the pump/brief trouble-shooting and give me an estimate for a fix. Pump guy confirmed the pump was bad and estimated $1800 additional for a replacement to be installed. The pumping + new pump install would put me over $2400+ (steep for me) so I declined. An exact pump replacement (excellent quality Barnes pump) is about $500. Pumping job itself was about $650. After that, the pump guy said he wouldn't be cleaning out the 3rd compartment and he did not finish cleaning the 1st or the 2nd. Even though the pump was bad, he reinstalled it so tight, I can't untighten. I hope that wasn't on purpose. I let him know I needed the whole tank clean as I was told would happen. But it never happened. "Pressure washing" meant using my garden hose with a stream spray attachment (still adequate if completed). After the job, I called to let James know that the tank still needed to be cleaned more thoroughly and he said he would send the fellow back out. He never showed. After repeated calls, James said Covid was preventing the work from getting done. I left messages ... If covid did these folks in, then I'd say they are more than justified in not coming back but otherwise I'd like them to finish the job so I don't need to worry about the new pump getting compromised with something. If they would've come back, I could still give 4 or 5 stars depending on how that went. But I have to rate them very low now as I can't recommend them until this is settled. read more

This guy no calls and no shows to pump out a tank until the 3rd day after he said he would and then shuts the breaker off and never returns to turn it back on causing the tank to overflow and submerge the electrical box. Had been trying to get other companies to respond, they led me on "will be out there" and no show, eventually ghosting me on texts. You never want to call a septic company when you have an old system. I called these guy in the morning and set up a time for the next morning. James was on time, very professional. After sucking down the septic they looked at what issue I was having and offered suggestions to fix, gave me a quote on future issues they were seeing. Brian at 24/7 was amazing. He had to make two trips to my place because i have not lived here long and had no idea where the tank was located. He advised me i could get a map from Travis county from when the system was put installed in 1985. And that is what i did. He did not charge me for the first trip because he said he had not solved our problem. He came back two days later early in the morning and with the map in hand spent three hours digging and located the tank and lid. He was able to pump the tank and get our plumbing functioning again. We had paid another company the week before to pump the system and he never even looked for the tank and charged us $630.00 dollars and the toilet only flushed Twice. When i contacted this company( ANYTIME SEPTIC) back to ask why my toilet would not flush he informed me the system was faulty and if I wanted it fixed he would cut me a good deal for $12,500.00 for a new system. Brian at 24/7 told me that was ridiculous. We just needed to locate the tank and pump it which is exactly what he did. Problem solved. He did work on it for about 4 or 5 hours. But he found the tank and the lid and pumped it out, cleared blockages from the sewer line and got my plumbing functioning as it should. I have not lived here quite a year yet and the best guess is the system had not been serviced in 13-15 years. it was long overdue and he did an amazing job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 24/7 Septic Solutions. He is very busy . So even if you must wait a day or two be patient. His pricing is far more than fair and He is a Man of his word. Trust what he tells you. He does exactly what he says he will.
