I also want to shout out the front desk staff. They have been super nice and helpful. Original: Office staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Robert Feldman. Although I felt he did a good job with the exam, the entire second half of my appointment felt extremely rushed. I specifically came here because I have had issues with my glasses prescription. When I asked if we could discuss my glasses, after he said we were done, he seemed very annoyed. He did take a look however, but his annoyance continued and he made me feel very rushed and unwelcome to ask questions. This is extremely upsetting considering I looked at many reviews and had this place recommended based on a community Facebook page. I am leaving with questions and concerns that were not addressed and will now need to come back because he already was gone immediately after my appointment ended.

When I arrived, they were quite busy and I wound up waiting for approximately twenty minutes to be seen. I completely understand the wait as I came there during one of their busiest times. Once it became my turn i was greeted by a woman with unnaturally dyed red hair, and I could tell, had an already karen like attitude. She sat me down and I tried on my glasses. The first pair, we're my riding glasses. Everything was fine. I could see good. The bifocals were lined up perfectly. The second pair are my daily glasses that I wear all the time. The distance vision portion was perfectly fine, but I couldn't see a thing out of the bifocals. The woman immediately became a bit frustrated and said that all the measurements were what they were supposed to be. And she didn't understand the problem. I told her regardless, I can't see out of the glasses in their current state. Could you please check the measurements? Make sure they're right. We have to send these back. She took the glasses and went into the back room for another 10 minutes came back out and told me to try them again. I put them on and still the same issue. The bifocal portion was way too low on the lens for me to properly see out of I took them off, placed them on the table. And said, very quietly and very calmly, no I still can't see a damn thing. She then immediately began to chastise me and dress me down in front of everybody in the store about my language, and that I am never to use profanity around them and the children that were in there, there was one child. If you can call him that in the store and he was about seventeen years old. And I think he's heard worse things than somebody whisper the word damn. I am a 59-year-old man. I have never been chastised and dressed down by anybody in public that way, that was the most embarrassing thing. I think I have ever experienced. And because of this house of optical is losing a twenty five plus year customer, his wife and his children as well. The only decent thing about that place that I can tell at this time is Priscilla. She was extremely helpful, extremely polite. She took over everything from this vile woman and come to find out, figured out that my eyes were not measured properly by the technician who initially took the measurements, and that the glasses were wrong and needed to be remade. Priscilla deserves a raise. The red headed. Karen deserves a pink slip.

He goes above and beyond to lower costs for his patients. This will tell you how much I am impressed by him, that I went to see him again this year even though my vision insurance changed and he was not in my network. So, I paid out-of-pocket to have him to do my annual examination. Last year my vision had different coverage. Finally, I am not one to write lengthy reviews but when someone is as superior as Dr. Wong, well he needs to be recognized for going above and beyond to provide excellent service.

That's not the worst before I came I asked did they take my insurance I get there and they did, then three weeks later I get phone calls stating I owe add 98 dollars because my insurance would pay the rest of the bill. But truth be told it was probably because I didn't buy they neuro glasses that cost an additional $900. Because they said I had perfect vision but this would help. 350 dollars later I still have the same issues when I drive headaches from three light and they want to up charge what a joke. NEVER GO HERE!!!

Yes, I purchased glasses from LensCrafters. I went to this location to 'exchange' a pair of glasses…read morethat somebody (*cough* pushy salesperson *cough*) talked me into believing looked good. Well, I realized they didn't. The more I wore them, the less I could stand them. When you get enough blank stares from people you know and trust when you show your new glasses, you might have made a bad choice. I took LensCrafters up on their 90 day return/exchange policy. I know the stock varies a little by location, so I thought I would try this one since I was in the area. I went in on a busy day, but staff still tried to be helpful. The supervisor asked me what I didn't like about the pair that I wanted to 'exchange.' She asked me to try them on so that she could see what I was talking about. She showed me some frames and then left me to look around. Some of the recommendations I didn't like, but I'm picky (hence the 'exchange'). I wasn't that impressed with the stock. I didn't see a lot of Vogue (one of my favorite frames). Ray Ban was kind of limited. There was a lot of Coach, Tiffany, Prada, and other designers in that vein. I did feel a little awkward doing the 'exchange' because the supervisor asked me a few times if I was sure about my selections. She also gave me her opinion a few times and then said 'but you're the one who has to wear them.' That's right, I am, so don't push me in the direction of a frame size I'm not comfortable with. If you do, we'll just end up back in this awkward moment, with me saying I told you so. It took a very long time to find something that I felt comfortable in. No one rushed me, which is nice. I was avoiding going with black, but I ended up with black because that style frame looked the best and I was ready to raise the white flag. A visit or two to a few more stores and I would probably have had all of SE Michigan covered. I couldn't get the glasses in an hour because they didn't have my lenses in stock. I was told that it would be up to a week. That's acceptable. I've waited about two weeks at other retailers. I have purchased glasses from LensCrafters in the past, and I will say that this is the first time that I have not been able to get my glasses back the same day. I said that to say that their claim to 'glasses in 1 hr.' isn't a complete load of crock. I would have given more stars if this location had more of a variety in what I call the mid-level frames, instead of the high-end frames.

When I arrived, the woman at the desk was on the phone with a customer, after she got off the phone she then helped another customer who came in after me. Even after we were finally acknowledged and told to sit, she helped yet another person who arrived later. After waiting about 30 minutes, we were told they couldn't fix the glasses because we didn't buy them there unless we get a new prescription with them. I've had minor fixes done at other eyeglass places for a fee, so I wasn't expecting anything free, just help in an urgent situation. Unfortunately, the lack of customer priority and unwillingness to assist means I won't be returning nor recommend this location.

The bridge and temples screw directly into the lenses. Rimless also means these things are delicate so, of course, it was only a matter of time before I messed them up. It took me only a couple weeks after receiving them before I slept with them on and got them all bent out of shape. At that point they no longer sat properly on my face. The retailer didn't have any repair options so I visited LensCrafters thinking they'd be able to send them to Ray-Ban for repair. Well, after checking in at the store, I was asked to have a seat and wait while the tech took a look at my glasses. After a short while, she returned with my glasses all magically back to normal. I was amazed and extremely grateful. My next surprise came when I was told the repair was complimentary. I later realized that they offer minor repairs for free but I gotta give LensCrafters props for great, talented employees and for running a smooth operation during lockdown. Everyone wore masks and gloves and made sure customers were socially distanced.
