I went ahead and did the due diligence to contact "Bob" letting him know of what happened. He decided to call me at my phone number and proceed to say "Are you dumb? Gas is expensive" to which I tried to explain to him the situation, but he hung up on me. I called back to talk to a manager, and he said he was the manager and continued to be disrespectful. I do not recommend anyone use this service. They are extremely disrespectful and do not know how to conduct business.

I never got a response and I should have taken that as a clue. I called them last night and booked the 6 a.m. pick up that way. I was directed to send my address via text, which I did, and I got a text back confirming the pick up. So then I purchased the Yelp deal online for the $75 airport ride for $67, And then 6 a.m. this morning, I'm sitting by the window, with my suitcase next to me, waiting, watching. Nothing. 6:05. Nothing. 6:10. Nothing. I call the number. No one picks up. I send a text message and I get back the response "Sending a car now." Then I get a phone call from some other guy saying that he's driving from Berkeley and will pick me up in 10 minutes. 6:30 am a car finally shows up. This is an entirely different guy (who actually frightened me a couple of times during the ride with his reckless driving). I made my flight but probably wouldn't have if I had to check in bags. And guess what? I find out only when I get to the airport that 510 Airport Taxi had called ANOTHER taxi service to pick me up. So when I go to pay with the Yelp voucher, the driver refuses to take it because he's not with 510 Airport Taxi. Now I'm just trying to get my Yelp voucher refunded. I had to pay that guy, essentially paying for this awful taxi ride twice and now I'm getting texts from 510 Airport Taxi asking if I want to use the voucher for a ride from airport on my return trip (NO!) and that I have to contact Yelp for the refund. This is not a taxi service with a dispatcher. This is a guy who owns a car and a cell phone. BAD NEWS all around!

I called them from the West Oakland stop and asked for a pick up, but the guy told me to just flag a cab down when I got there. When I explained that I was calling so that I would have a ride when I arrived in a few minutes, he told me to get off at the 12th St. stop instead and flag a cab down there because there are a lot of them waiting there. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I just responded, "Um, okay," and hung up. Now, of course, if I had gotten off a stop before, it's also going to cost me more to get home. How convenient for them. At that point, I was so stunned and so pissed that I decided to just get off at 19th St. anyway and make the walk. Although there…read moreis "cab" in the company name, Charity Cab is a private car service with 2 comfortable cars that Keith owns and operates. This was the second time we had used Keith; the first was an early morning trip to SJC. He's reliable, efficient, friendly and cost-competitive with other private car services. When, like us, you need to get to SFO or SJC reliably, and don't want to drive and park long-term, there's no better option I know of than Charity Cab. Ride share apps are hit and miss, and the last thing you want is to have to wait 45 minutes for a ride. And driving an hour, hunting for a space, and lugging a few large suitcases into and out of an airport parking shuttle that makes a dozen stops before your terminal is a drag. And the last thing you want to do after a long international flight is drive an hour to get home late at night. Keith will accept credit cards, but prefers cash if you have it. A guy dispatcher takes my info says "20 mins." 40 mins later I call Lucky to inquire about the cab & the dispatcher says he couldnt find my adress in his GPS so, no cab is on its way. No call back to get clarification on the address, no call to let me know a cab will not be outside my house in "20 mins." Almost washed my hands of them completely but dispatcher offers me a discount on my ride, promises he found the address on GPS, says "15 mins". 20 mins later still no cab. I called another company. Got to work late, got chewed out by my boss & lost a promotion. Thanks Lucky1 Cab! Incident #2: After incident #1 I called Lucky to complain. A woman dispatcher was very professional & applogetic. She offered me a complementary cab ride in the future. Nice. Ok... everyone has bad days, maybe it was that other guy's 1st day, I won't hold a grudge. THEN, When I call for the complementary ride a few weeks later, lady dispatcher answers. I ask for supervisor bc of the free ride situation, the woman was very rude. Askes me why I need a supervisor.
