They have no interest in helping you actually get the care you need. After taking 2 months to get an OBGYN referral I came to my appointment only to learn that they do not accept my insurance. Please be aware this referral came from my primary phycisian who has all my insurance information, the person who set my appointment explained that I was 100% covered for what I needed, and they even prescribed medication for me to take prior to coming in. It wasn't until I was in the OB office that they started asking more questions and quickly told me that they do not accept the insurance and I would have to leave. I spoke with several people in each office that did not seem phased or concerned by this. It seems to be a common mistake and I was told to do better research in my coverage. As a patient I put a lot of trust into my doctor and medical staff to provide guidance withy healthcare. It is clear to me today, after being treated so poorly, that they are not going to be the providers I choose to see any further. After spending an hour trying to find out who was responsible for this all I have is a lot of excuses, passing on of blame, a list of other referred doctors that may or may not accept my insurance, and a lot of wasted time.

He does a wonderful job examining his patients and gives a fair and healthy assessment of the patient's health conditions and concerns. Steven, the nurse practitioner, also does an excellent job listening to the patient's concerns and providing the best possible care that is needed for the patient. Dr. Root is very thorough & can make a diagnosis very quickly based on your symptoms. She is very calming when your child is ill, which is WORTH A MILLION DOLLARS as far as I am concerned!!! I believe she is a Christian caring doctor as evidenced by my experiences w/ her. The fact that she may be unaware of FSA claims (which I doubt, Dr. Root is very intelligent) does not have anything to do with how competent she is as a physician. That is an administrative issue not a doctor patient care issue!!

Dr. Melloh's staff is great and returns questions within a fair amount of time, and prescription refill requests within 24 hours if it's not scheduled; and the Doctor on call has always dealt with my issues promptly and professionally. Now, that is all the great stuff the Doc has going for her office-wise, as for the good MD herself, she listens intently; she is profoundly willing to work with you (not work ON you, like you're a car needing a tune-up); and, and she cares.
