While being here Lavanna had to watch her baby get a needle stabbed into his arm. Nurse Jessica was the one to perform the blood draw and I'm confident to say she doesn't know how to draw blood. The nurse just moved the needle around in Lennons arm causing him to scream bloody murder. Yes i'm aware babies cry but, this baby wasn't crying when she inserted the needle. He only started to scream and cry when she was jamming the needle in his arm trying to find a vein. If all of this isn't enough, after the fact Jessica decide to say to Lavanna, and I quote "I just love poking babies". This is not okay in any way and really irritates me that this baby boy had to go through this. I think Nurse Jessica should be ashamed of herself and the whole office needs to look at it's employees a little further.

My husband located this urgent care center that was actually open until 9pm and was near 86th and Michigan Rd. We ran over. It is a small place on the north side of 86th St. Very clean and accommodating. Dr. Khan was patient and very thorough. He told us exactly what we had (strep) and why we had it. He explained what medication he was prescribing and why. He told us where to go to fill the prescription and said that if we were going to go directly to the pharmacy he would wait (past his 9pm closing time) to make sure that the pharmacy didn't need to call him because of the narcotics prescription (Tylenol with codeine). He said they would bill our insurance and on our way we went. He was maybe the best urgent care doc either of us has ever seen. Dr. Khan told us that he used to work at the urgent care in Nora but he left and opened up this place on his own. Looks like he has a second location on W. 10th St. as well. We would highly recommend this clinic.

You could tell he is not a "cookie cutter" or "cookbook doctor" where I feel they don't think analytically but look up a typical cookbook recipe to fix the problems. I have left several doctors and dentists, purely because the support staff is so awful. Dr. Brengle's team never make me feel like I'm an imposition or a number. I am treated respectfully and my time is respected. Dr. Brengle is the best doctor I have ever had. I have migraines and asthma. Many medications to treat one can exacerbate the other. He has worked hard to help me find the correct mix of medications without making me feel like a guinea pig. He has never treated me like a pill seeker or a hypochondriac, which unfortunately is not common when addressing migraines. Dr. Brengle is not afraid to tackle tough subjects and he does it with grace and tact. During my physical last year, he made the tough choice to address my weight. At the time I was very overweight, with blood pressure issues, and high cholesterol. He discussed what I have tried to lose weight and provided me with information on the most recent studies on weight loss. He didn't give me anything gimmicky or try to sell me supplements. It was basic nutrition 101 - eat less, exercise more. He explained that studies show you lose weight simply by being accountable to someone. I started coming in weekly, then biweekly, then monthly to weigh in and talk about any struggles I was having. It's been almost a year since that appointment. I've gone from a size 18 to a size 8, losing 42 pounds. I've maintained my weight for the last three months, despite the pandemic bringing stress and making it harder to get lots of protein and fresh vegetables at grocery stores. Weight loss doesn't solve all your problems, but it has solve quite a bit of mine. My blood pressure is down, normal BMI, good cholesterol, great blood sugar, all of my stats are in a healthy range. I'm 41 and just put on a skirt from college. Finally, Dr. Brengle makes himself available 24/7 in many ways. I have had in-person visits, phone call visits, and sent him pictures and messages after hours for rashes, injuries, etc. It was weird to do the club medicine thing. You pay a flat rate every month, which gives you access to unlimited appointments. For someone who rarely goes to the doctor, this may not be a good fit for you. For someone like me that has health conditions that need frequent monitoring, I've saved a bundle of money. And it is comforting to know that anytime I need a doctor, I know who I will see, that he will be available, and it will not be a hassle.

In November, 2019, Dr. Wyant, and the entire office, moved from the Georgetown Medical Plaza to Marsh Road in Intech Park off of West 71st Street. Dr. Wyant, and group, is now with the Optum Network. Dr. Wyant has been my Primary Care Physicians (PCP) for many, many years and I still highly recommend him. He has absorbed some retiring physicians patients so his wait time has increased but I take that into consideration on my personal calendar and scheduling. He's so worth it since he gives all his patients the necessary time while still being efficient and productive. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. The new location sets back off Marsh Road, is a one level building and has ample parking. As you enter through the automatic sliding doors you're directly standing in the lobby. The same smiling faces you knew at the old office greet you as you enter. The charming office waiting room is large, brightly lite and I personally enjoyed the new comfortable chairs. The convenient internal lab was relocated with the office so no need to find a new lab for lab orders from your doctor. The new lab is much larger than the old closet size lab. Just remember this lab is for in-house Optum doctor's orders only. The new location is closer for some and farther for others but honestly only 10-15 minutes from the old office off Georgetown Road. Easy on/off access off 465 onto West 71st Street exit.

Dr. Saberman takes her role of primary care doctor very seriously. She coordinated my care between four different surgeons, one in Chicago, and still managed to get all the paperwork filled out for my employer and everything else. It's been a life-changing year for me and I'm grateful she was with me for the experience. I don't know what I would have done with an average doctor. I make sure her and her staff know how much I appreciate them... they go the extra mile for me, I often order them pizza or something.. It's the least I can do, I'm sure they saved my life.. They even hugged me when I left for brain surgery. I don't believe.. Dr Saberman does accept new patients, but I could be wrong. however, She does have a partner in her new office, who would be my second choice, in Noblesville..
