Papaya Salad, Crispy Chicken Garlic, Gyoza
Dana L.

Service was very good, we had a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. The papaya salad was very refreshing and light, and the friend chicken was seasoned pretty well. The food was also inexpensive, I'd say this place is a good place to go to for affordable high quality food!

We really enjoyed our visit just now. Super friendly and efficient staff. Atmosphere is cool and not noisy so a nice place for just the 2 of us. Food was excellent. Shrimp pad thai and crab fried rice. Dim sum delicious. Oh, the cocktails were great too! Thank you

Pad See Ew (Quarter Duck)

I eat a lot of Thai food and this restaurant in Chelsea really surprised me with how flavorful everything was! From the beautiful mocktails to their apps and entrees, I have no complaints for everything I ate. The Phuket Dream and Sangaya mocktail drinks were wonderful. I love how Chicken Satays were moist and tender. The Curry Puffs were very flaky with a nice starchy filling. I loved the Grilled Steak Fried Rice because of the fatty salty steak. The Pad See Ew noodles were also not stuck together which I see at a lot of Thai spots, so that was a great sign! I never had duck this tender and not dry, so I recommend pairing it with their crispy duck. I ended the meal with a nice sweet Mango Sticky Rice. Service was excellent and the place got packed for lunch time on a Saturday!

Was very impressed with the value of the happy hour here, $10 drinks everyday until 8pm! Even on weekends. The food was served hot and fresh, and the vibes inside were intimate and fun. I think the roti massaman appetizer is a little small, it would've been nice to have received more than 1 piece of roti for $9. But overall the food was flavorful and service was quick and attentive without feeling rushed

Overall: 5 stars Newer Thai restaurant that popped up on my radar recently and I was so impressed by the menu, which was full of intriguing options, of which none my sensitive stomach could tolerate well at this time, so I went for the classic Pad See Ew. The noodles were tender, piping hot, and had a sweet saline comfort to the bite. The chinese broccoli is cut with expert precision for tender yet crisp texture and the egg is well scrambled to serve as a light crumble. Prices are all very fair and I'm very much looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu when my stomach is not failing me. Really enjoyed the khao soi here. I came with some friends during happy hour and we loaded up on the $8 lychee margaritas! The service was nice as well.

WAN WAAN is easily one of my favorite Thai spots in NYC right now. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. We started with the house dumplings, which were incredibly juicy and full of flavor--definitely a must-order. The coconut shrimp was also amazing, crispy on the outside with the perfect balance of sweetness. For mains, the salmon khao soi completely stood out. The curry was rich and flavorful, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The rib-eye panang curry was just as impressive--tender, bold, and packed with flavor. Excellent service, great vibe overall. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. You can tell they really care about the quality here. Highly recommend if you're in the area--this place is a gem.

Happy hour menu until 8pm

We walked in on a Friday night. They have happy hour until 8pm, which can be hard to find. Overall service was fast and nice. The food and drinks were delicious. There are a lot of thoughtful details, like the food garnish and fresh, beautiful flowers on every table. We got the papaya salad and Phuket crab curry. The fried soft shell crab was delicious, and there were lumps of crab in the spicy curry. The lychee Thai tea was not something I usually see on menus. It was delicious and refreshing. There were many good Kahlua and Thai coffee based cocktails.

Came here as a walk in for 2 around 4:30 on a Thursday and got a table right away. Immediately the service was so nice and helpful! Our server Oreo genuinely made our dinner! The place is super cute. Food was also great! I loved the Massaman Curry and the happy hour drink deals are totally worth it!

Taste great flavorful! I got calamari salads and crispy coconut shrimp. They were both good! However I should have chosen different kind since both are deep fried ( i didn't realize) so I'll try some different stuff next time. They were packed and other table's foods looks really nice :)

The drinks were delicious, and the small bistro atmosphere felt warm and authentic. The food was excellent -- we tried the chicken and beef Pad Thai, the mussaman curry, and the grilled salmon. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with just a bit of room for improvement.

First of all, this is only my second time coming here. The last time I came was in the summer of 2023. It was a random stop after I left the High Line. Super grateful, though. The food was a hit then, and it was arguably even better this time around. The vibes in here are chill. It's a very casual and cute spot. Great for lunch, but could also be cute for an intimate date. Restrooms are located downstairs in the basement and are very clean. The service here is exceptional. It's been great on both visits and I'm pretty sure I was served by the same person both times. Our server was super attentive and great at anticipating our needs. He also got all customizations right and they did a great job of clearing plates and things as needed. BUT THE FOOD, THO... Crispy garlic chicken: babyyyyyy, this was so good. It's not crispy like fried chicken, but it's crisp enough and the garlic sauce is so savory and addicting. I opted for string beans in mine because broccoli upsets my stomach, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch portion, which was only $19 and included two spring rolls as an appetizer. You could also choose soup or salad, but I'm a spring roll girl. It was great. I've ordered this both times I came. Lunch fried rice: ordered my daughter The lunch fried rice with extra egg and no veggies. They got it right, and even despite the veggies not being in there, the flavor was still great. Little to nothing needed to make it flavorful AF. Lunch pad Thai: so good! I hate when pad Thai is super dry. And in this case, it had the perfect texture, moisture level, and consistency. It smelled and tasted awesome. Chicken dumplings: pretty standard, but pretty damn good. No complaints at all. Thai tea: not too sweet. Super good. The next time I come back here, I will definitely pop in because I know it's good. I love that there's been consistency over a multi-year period.

Chicken and Shrimp Dumpling

Haven't been here for a while so decided to come here with friends for a weekday lunch. The set lunch menu is now circa $17 for two courses with large variety to choose from. I ordered the pork and shrimp dumpling to start with followed by chicken volcano as recommended. Both were very tasty, and my friends enjoyed theirs as well. Came here during a snow day so it was nice and intimate for a catch up.

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Can't complain. They have four booths in the back maybe it was three. I did notice one of the hanging lights was from an 80s pizza hut joint. Letting you know now the paper towels for your face at the table felt like jail toliet paper, very rough. The bar doesn't have bar stools with backs! The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way).
