Played 6/20/2019 for $19 @ 4:00pm Currently sub 5 handicap Course is in immaculate shape! Seriously a hidden gem in Everett on casino road of all places. Fairways and greens were cut tight. Tee boxes nice and square and level. Greens roll true and fast. No divots laying around the fairways and grass clumps everywhere. They must use one of those tow behind giant blowers after they cut cause this place is seriously in better shape than the vast majority of all the Oki courses I play in the area. Clientele you'll see playing here are sadly not as up-kept lol. Lots of Jean shorts and cut off sleeve types. Right on par with the area. And three back to back to back short par 4's on the front that are annoying but give this place a try and you'll see. Course is great. read more

Told on first tee 4 1/4would be pace of play finished just under 5 1/2 hours. Greens are slow and rough and many of the tee boxes are burned out or extremely uneven. Course is not close to the condition it was a couple of years ago. read more

Pace of play is not even a thing here. There is no thought given to the groups teeing off, grouping people together is not a thing. Pace of play for 9 holes on a Friday after work was over 3 hours. Unacceptable and AVOIDABLE. read more

Everett is not a place you would expect a well groomed golf course. I was not only presently surprised by the course but the staff is very friendly and open about pricing, Cart rentals. Had a blast with my friends and will definitely be returning! read more

This was my first time playing this course and I was not disappointed. The pro shop was well stocked and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The tee boxes were in good shape, the greens were consistent and even, and the fairways provided a nice challenge. The course layout was fun and forgiving. My only issue was the driving range which consisted of 2 outdoor bays with an artificial tee pad and hitting into a net. Could have been in better shape, but overall, a great course and I would play it again in a heartbeat. Very Affordable too! read more

Played this course from the deepest tees they had (called the "tips" all you duffers out there) and it was a challenge. If you read any other of my golf reviews you know about my handicap, and I considered this a challenge. The course was made more difficult by the fact it was in bad shape. Greens were really bumpy and shaggy. I had multiple putts knocked off line due to poor upkeep on the greens. Cups were "cut" very sloppy and lip outs became the norm for my group. Fairway was mowed to an playable level, but I like to see my fairways a little lower to impart spin and punish those who can't hit the ball straight. Really inexpensive greens fees, and twilight was something like $20 after 2:00 for all you could play. If you are a player, and come out during the week, you can easily fit in 27 or more holes walking. read more

Course was in pretty decent shape minus the rough. Biggest complaint was the marshal on the first hole. Had a awful drive and I could hear him telling the next group I'm not sure why they are hitting off the blues(buddy and I). And showing them that I was in the woods. That's not his job and is quite disrespectful. Also if you're a decent marshal you'd send the group of two in front of the group of four. I have been playing here once a week since 2009. Love the course and the folks that work there. I do have one complaint and that is in the foyer there are 2 wooden picnic tables and about a month ago (as I sat there) I saw that there was bird poop on them. Well forward 4 or 5 weeks later and the bird poop is still there. Can't someone go out there and clean the tables. My god it would only take a few minutes to wash them off. It makes me wonder what else is being neglected at this facility. That is the reason for the less than outstanding rating. read more

Played this course for twilight. Have not played at Walter for years. Seems to be far better fairways and greens then I remember. We walked for twilight $26 a person. We started at 4pm and easily played 18. There were frantic groups behind us we let them play through. Like 3 of them... flying around in carts, whatever they want to do just not my style racing around the golf course. There was a large group that was loud and annoying but other then that great place to play! read more

I love playing Walter Hall and you can't beat the price. It's well maintained and very forgiving of those not so straight shots. I'd give the course 5 stars but allowing groups of 5 really slows down play. Playing 18 usually takes 4 plus hours. Hopefully they'll change and enforce that in the future. read more

Scott has a lot of nerve telling my group to pick up the pace when he is the only person that can ring up a cold drink on the whole course. We attempted to purchase something to drink but he was out on the course. If he was where he was supposed to be we would have been on time. It's going to be 100 degrees out today. Man your post if your the only one that can operate a register to sell a cold drink. There are a lot of nice courses in the PNW. I don't appreciate being told to hurry up and get heat stroke. I would give you a 1 star but I understand you guys are probably short staffed and Scott is probably new and doesn't know what he is doing yet. read more

I was looking to play 18 holes during their twilight hours. I was a single so couldn't book a tee time. I arrived 30 minutes before twilight was scheduled to start. There was a line so I waited patiently. When I got to the front, I told the attendant that I was a single looking for a twilight tee time. He then attempted to set me up for a regular tee time. I politely corrected him and he asked me if I had set up a tee time. I said no, I am a single and can't set up a tee time. He then said in a very rude tone that he didn't have any tee times available until 90 minutes after twilight started. So I took my credit card back and drove to the Nile and played 18 holes in three hours. I didn't have to wait and they were happy to see me. Even though The Nile is a short course I have found that it is generally open in the spring time and I can get a quick 18 holes in. read more

They have stopped watering the greens. They are dried out dirt and impossible to putt. It is awful and you need to avoid.

Course was in great shape all summer. All my buddies continuously talked about how the course was in better shape than most public courses in the area including the sister course to this one Legion Memorial. People should definitely check it out more it's a great track. read more

Course was in great shape all summer! I still consider this my home course all through the winter, and you cannot beat the price. Right about 20-25 dollars for a round of golf. 30 if you're taking a cart? Pace of play is great. Pro shop staff are polite and well organized, and made sure to get me out to play even on a busy day. read more

The field marshall is a complete jerk. He told my friend on his birthday ''you are the worst golfer I've ever seen''. He then kicked our entire party off for playing 'too slow' when we had no one behind us and did the first 9 holes in 2hr 15min without carts which is completely reasonable. Don't ever go here. This place is horrible with bad service. read more

Just moved to the area and really wanted to like this course. For the price I would expect a much better kept course, a more interesting layout, a starter (or at least someone keeping track of who should be next at tee), a drink cart on a sunny weekend in the summer, etc. The cafe is also pretty sad. For $52 a round with a cart, there are plenty of FAR superior courses in the area, just none quite this close to my new home. This course really should be about $20 cheaper a round for what you get. read more

I consider this place my home course! I love going here as much as possible and Greg does a great job running the show! Staff are friendly and the course is very well kept for being a public course! Greens roll true and fairways are set up for risk/reward shots on majority of the course. Only reason why i can't give it 5 stars is because the restaraunt could use a remodel to give it a more restaraunt/19th hole vibe. Course could use more bunkers than it currently has.(I think a total of 10 on 7 holes) However, that's just me being picky. I love Walter hall GC! read more

Worst muni course I've ever played. From the moment I paid at the front desk I knew this was a mistake because the guy taking my credit card was so unfriendly. The greens took a hop skip and a jump on every role and we only played 14 holes because of the whopping 4 hour 15 minute time it took. Don't waste your time here. This is an exceptionally enjoyable public course of moderate difficulty with a variety of interesting holes. Some fairways are narrow requiring accuracy off the tee while others allow you to bomb it. The greens, which were in good condition when I played it, feature challenging slopes in some cases but not overly demanding for reasonably skillful putters. I found the course to be well maintained, the staff friendly, and overall a very good value. read more

My name is Robert I have been playing golf at Walter E Hall for Several years. Today we had a new person with us that is just learning how to play golf. I admit he took a few more strokes to get to the pin than normal but we were still way under the time allotted to play each hole. Our longest hole was 10.45 min. I know for a fact that you allow 15 min per hole. I timed the rest of our games cause the marshal was just sitting watching not doing anything about the people playing up our back sides. We all like to keep pace with the people in front for the sake of the game so we let people play threw, when they caught up to us. Finally we had some older gentlemen just haggling us from about hole 13 on. The marshal come out for a few more holes and just watched. I was playing two over average and so was my friend. Our other friend that is just learning to play will NEVER be coming back to play at your course. He was so discouraged he didn't even want to finish the game we started. Is your course for Pros only? I talked to the man in the club house after and he briefly said "Yep yep real sorry here is a discount for next time. That doesn't make it better. The only problem is when you are never coming back what does a discount do? My friend will NOT come back to an un-respectful golf course to get bad mouthed cause he is not a pro. He is learning and if you want us to come back you can offer us each a free game and we will come and play another round. . My friends and I are all Thirty plus and we were treated like kids. How about treat everyone equal and go tell the older group to skip or move on or wait and stop haggling. I am just so upset at how this event played out. I with the marshal would have went to the older group and said Be respectful and wait your turn. It's not always the younger guys fault! I would like to know your policy for the course on manners? Respect for other players? Please let me know. We will play the Nile and Cedar Crest 2 or 3 times a week until I here back. Robert read more
