Battle Creek is by far my favorite local course. The course is maintained really well, and the greens have been running fast this year. The layout offers a great mix of challenges, good elevation changes, some bunkers I always hit, and water hazards stealing my pro V2s. The staff is awesome, best it's been in years, and the pace of play is perfect for me and my friends. The clubhouse and facilities are well-kept too. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just looking for a fun, scenic round, Battle Creek is a fantastic choice. Will be back there about once a week, keep it up! read more

We love Battle Creek! The amount of effort they have put in the last couple of years to improve everything from the pro shop, to the restaurant, and the greens is amazing. The Par 3 now has a paved cart path, well maintained greens, and great landscaping. We generally stick to the Par 3 and rarely is there a line. Since they have made the upgrades the people who golf are also much more respectful and responsible (i.e., no loud music, no cigarette butts, no litter). Recently they invested in mobile covers that can be used on the driving range when it is raining. I also love that on Wednesdays women get a 25% discount. We look forward to many more rounds at Battle Creek! read more

First time playing Battle Creek today and I have to say this is definitely a gem of a course! Pro shop was super friendly and gave great advice for a lot of the holes! Course is in great shape and greens are rolling pure. Layout of the course is a lot of fun with some challenging uphill holes, but overall very forgiving. I played the par 3 executive course last month for the first time. It's the best par 3 course I've found in the greater Seattle area. I'm new to golf so this has been a perfect course for me. Great course and even better staff. Cody was very helpful accommodating our group and fitting us in the busy schedule. Would highly recommend just off that interaction alone. They also have one of the very few ranges where you could actually hit off grass instead of mats. The course is very fun and challenging! Battle Creek Golf Course is an outstanding place to play. The course is beautifully maintained, with lush fairways and smooth, fast greens.

I just had to say something to balance out the stars! As a someone who's pretty new to the game, I can say with certainty that this is an excellent starter course. Honestly I was surprised to see the negative reviews as I've only had positive experiences here. There's a lovely (and free!) chipping/putting area, the staff is lovely, and the food is pretty delightful. Took two lessons from Alex Stacy. His instructions were clear and concise using terms I could understand. He was super attentive and videoed my before and after hits and emailed them to me as well as emailed the important technique tips he talked about in the hitting lesson. Second lesson was chipping and putting. I've had lessons on these aspects from others but they couldn't get it to click like Alex did. It is so much more enjoyable playing now that I get up and down more often. read more

Fun course to play. They have a practice range. It's near the Tulalip Casino. Some challenging holes.

Not sure if it's the quality of golfer or just the place. No one fixes dents on the greens. The sand is really lousy and basically just dirt. The tee boxes are never leveled and I saw the same huge divots on the tee boxes days apart. I understand the Covid restrictions, but at the same time they are allowing large groups to play together. The attitude in the shop is very poor and for what they charge for greens fees you might as well go down the road to Kayak or even play a better muni. This review is accumulative of 3 rounds in the last two weeks. Played since my playing buddy is working near there. His job is over soon. No more Battle Creek for me. read more

Very nice course on rolling hills lined with towering cedars. The course is well maintained and the management is continually making improvements. The main course is challenging with some interesting holes, including the infamous par 3 "Rock". Definitely worth checking out! read more

Fun course with some great elevation changes. There are some very picturesque holes, especially on the back nine. Tight fairways but large forgiving greens. My only complaint was the pace of play, five and a half hour round. Tee times every 8 minutes doesn't help, but then again, neither just playing at 2:00 p.m. on a weekend. read more

One of the more challenging layouts in the PNW, but the downfall is the rock hard tee boxes, fairways and bunkers. The spongy greens are fun to pin seek but good luck getting a putt to roll true. I have to admit....I am not an experienced golfer....in fact, this is the first golf course I've actually ever been to. I had a great time though. Ok. I like this golf course. The staff is nice and the course is decent. But...I won't return...because while I was golfing I could smell this horrible and extremely strong smell of pesticides.. i know you have to keep it well maintained but. It was too strong the entire time I was coughing. I didn't know the significance until I came back home and read health articles regarding exposure to cancer. Ppl if you smell pesticides stay away. read more

Course is in decent shape but for the price there are a lot of other courses I would rather play. $50 with Cart at 4pm is too much. We also had a single that we let play through and then had to wait on him again because he played more than 18 holes and was jumping holes on us. I have only used the following services - Driving range and par 3 course. As soon as I do 9 or 18 holes I will update. Great value for money - bucket of balls and a round of par 3 golf for 13 bucks. The par 3 golf course is lovely, nested between trees some long some short I have made a number of shots onto the green but yet to have a boogie. Staff are friendly and the limited food and drink is well priced. I can't wait to try the rest of the facilities. read more

What a bummer. Played here Sunday and was disappointed on arrival at how brown the course was. The only green parts of the course (aside from the millions of trees) were the uneven and divot-ed up tee boxes and the greens (good shape). The course played VERY fast and most of the fairways were dead/dry hard-pan (which did not help my game). It was very apparent that they do not water the fairways. I will not play here again in the near future or at all. But if I did.... I would do it in the spring months when the fairways are green from copious amounts of rain and, well... fair. read more

The course is a real gem and close to home. It's in great shape and there is a 9-hole par-3 or a full-sized 18-hole course to choose from. Only problem is it's overpriced for what it is. $50 per person with a pull cart is almost what we would pay in the desert at a five star course. They didn't even give a discount for the thached greens which most courses will give you a substantial discount just to get people on the course. Also golf courses are friendly places but the guy that's been at the front desk the last few times we've been there is a real dud. He has zero personality and doesn't give you any additional information about the course. I think he could use some personality. If the prices were a little lower and if they would include a golf cart we would play there every week but it's too much, especially to- walk. read more

I enjoyed this layout. Course conditions not really a 4 but the layout and friendliness of staff were superb. Each hole is cut into the pine forest and thus separated from each other but fairways are still ample width. Hole 12 with its "rock" guarding the green is a challenging par 3 from 175. I would definitely return. Play was a little slow but we were a twosome so it probably seemed slow but still played in a little over 4 hours read more

I was on vacation and found this course 15 minutes drive from my hotel so I came. Not very nice fairways and green but well maintained. I played solo early morning so not many people. However, from hole 10 which is around after 11am, there were more players showed up and you would be either in a hurry or waiting the front group. In overall, this is a good one in Everett area. I showed up as single this Monday and Skip Adams at the pro shop told me that the course was relatively open but two very slow groups had just started their rounds. He then took a cart and determined that there was enough of a gap on the 9th hole that I could tee off on the 10th hole. He also told me that there were no groups scheduled to start their rounds when I was likely to reach the 1st hole. So I started on the 10th hole and never had to wait for the entire round! I feel that this high level of customer service should be recognized. read more

Not Friendly for People with Disabilities! I drove up from Bellevue with my 88-year-old father-in-law who is a Marine Corp vet and an amputee at the knee with a prosthetic leg. While he is still active and in great shape for his age, needless to say, he can't walk the course. When we drove into the parking lot, we saw no designated handicap parking. When we paid and asked for a disability flag, we were told that they don't have disability flags, and on top of that, we were to stay on the cart path. I told the guy at the register that we wouldn't be able to play then and he called the manager to the desk. The manager said that if we didn't mind burying the golf cart, we could go. We assured him that as much as possible, we would stick to the 90-degree cart rule, and he okayed us to play. On the fifth hole, a greens keeper came along in a cart and told us that he didn't care what they told us inside, we had to stay on the cart path at all times. This made it impossible for my father-in-law to finish the round, so we went back to the clubhouse for a refund. They did refund our money, but the manager never, at any time, said "I'm sorry", or, "Continue your round." He said, "We'll talk to him", meaning the greens keeper. Well, that did us no good for that day, and we left, our round cut short. On top of it, I had made a gift of the round for the third person in our party since it was his birthday, so it shot him out of his birthday present, it ended the round for my disabled American vet father-in-law, and cut the round short for me personally, when I only have this one day during the work week off. The young man at the counter said, "Sorry about that", but the manager never did. There just really is a lack of service, caring, and appreciation of the customer with the staff at this course. The course itself is fine, but if you or someone in your party needs special consideration for disabilities, go elsewhere. As we made the hour-long trip back home, I wondered if this course is even in compliance with Americans with Disabilities requirements. There was certainly no consideration given to this 88-year-old disabled vet who served his country with honor. By the way, it was 77 degrees and sunny with totally dry fairways. read more

The 18 hole course is not beginner friendly, I took my friend Charlie D. golfing this summer and on the first hole he scored an 18. I do not like how the driving range is parallel to two holes on the course. I came within inches of being hit with a yellow ball from the driving range. I'm pretty sure the guy was aiming for me too. Last time i went they had just air gated and sanded the greens, so that impacted my putting. Overall a great and fun golf course. read more
