I was hitting in Bay 1 when I pulled out my driver and, on my first swing, struck the wall behind me during my follow-through, resulting in significant damage to my club. Unfortunately, the range took no responsibility for the positioning of the bay and instead advised me that I should have been more cautious. What concerns me is that the wall I struck clearly shows evidence of being hit by other golfers in the past, including multiple holes and dents. This suggests that I was not the first person to encounter this issue. At a minimum, the range could have posted a warning indicating the potential hazard or positioned the hitting mat farther away from the building to provide adequate clearance. I acknowledge that I could have been more aware of my surroundings, and I certainly wish I had noticed the proximity of the wall before swinging. I did not expect that using the hitting stall as intended would put my equipment at risk of being damaged. I believe the range should take a closer look at the spacing of its hitting bays and consider appropriate measures to prevent this from happening to other customers.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Brevin Brown at GOLFTEC. He was really good…read moreat identifying the biggest areas where I could improve my swing and focusing on the things that would actually make a difference. What I appreciated most about Brevin was how well he communicated. If something didn't click for me right away, he would find another way to explain it or demonstrate it until I understood not only what I needed to change, but why I was changing it. He was also really flexible with my own comfort level and abilities instead of trying to force me into one specific way of swinging. Every single lesson I left with more knowledge and, more importantly, a plan for what I needed to work on at the driving range or practice greens. All of the technology, video, and feedback GOLFTEC provides is great, but having a coach like Brevin behind all of it is what made the experience excellent. I had a total of seven 30 minute lessons with Brevin, and the difference in my understanding of the golf swing and how to control different parts of it is honestly wild compared to when I started. I can't help but laugh when I watch the before and after videos from my first lesson compared to my last. My driver was my main focus coming in and we chipped away at that club for 3-4 lessons and the work paid off. I am finding fairways way more consistently and I understand what's going wrong when I don't. I had always hit the ball far but had troubles hitting it straight. I just recently hit my longest drive of 327 that rolled up to a green on a par 4. That would have been a lottery winning shot a few months ago but I come to the tee box expecting to put the ball far down the hole and in play now. I was consistently shooting in the 90s when I started. Since then, I've dipped into the 80s a handful of times and have a new personal best of 86. More importantly, I feel like I actually understand my swing now and have the knowledge and technique to continue improving on my own. 10/10 coach. 10/10 facility. If you're looking at taking lessons at GOLFTEC, I would absolutely recommend Brevin Brown.

We were intent on going to Puetz Golf but had heard about Jorgenson and decided to stop in here on the way. They've been in business they said for like 26 years, and after having experienced their service I know why. We were on the hunt for a couple of Golf bags, due to an unfortunate rat incident in our storage shed. I really wanted a Callaway bag to replace my other, but the owner showed us around and pointed out some other great bags, and I ended up buying a Sun Mountain, which I love already. The hubby was filled with glee to see the PING hoofer bag in camo, so he chose that one. Having joked to my hubby about his horrible slice the owner suggested she analyze his swing, him being such a tall guy she said he probably didn't have stiff enough clubs for his swing speed etc. This indeed was proven true. Although we didn't buy clubs this weekend we both will get a new set this season and will get them at Jorgensen. This is our new golf shop, we won't go anywhere else. Lucas spent an hour with me looking at my club fit and also swing speed, etc. We figured out that my 16 year old driver was too flexible and my swing speed was much faster than what my club could handle. Yes, I've outgrown my old driver. There was no pressure to buy anything and I appreciated the honest feedback about a couple of my bad golf habits. Lucas guided me to an affordable close out driver that was actually made this century (ok, actually within the last year), unlike my current driver. I held off on buying the driver that night so I could go home and "geek out" with Internet research on that driver and other models. I came back in the next day and Diana let me practice on the driver for a while. Julius even came out and gave me some impromptu pointers to help fix my swing. To cap this off, Diana offered to resize the grip on my driver at no cost to fit my hand size. I'm such a fan of small and local businesses. I don't think I would have gotten this level of service anywhere else, especially at those big box stores. I'm definitely a fan and a new and loyal customer.
