This place is great! Wonderful for the whole family, if by myself... I just hit some balls and have a beer. If the family comes along we all hit balls and have some food too! The food is good but I do wish they had some more lighter options. It will be busy here but waiting for a stall while having a beer is fine by me. Update, June 5th: I have been super satisfied with the course since my last review. The greens roll true, although difficult to read. Adds to the challenge of the course. Fairways are wide and forgiving on errant shots. One thing that sets this course apart from many others is the staff and facilities. They are super welcoming and personable, and the crew in Dave's Dawghouse are super friendly. The food's pretty damn good, too, and they have a full complement of alcohol beverages. This is my go-to course now. I especially like the fact that you can secure a tee time as a single. I have zero friends, LOL, so it's inconvenient and time consuming to travel to a course and beg for a slot. It's not the drive, but it's the unwelcome intrusion on the clubhouse to ask if you can pay them a huge fee to play on their mediocre courses. read more

I love Snohomish golf course I live in totem lake and it's the course I play the most and the best within 30 minute radius. Tree line fairways and feeling like you're totally secluded in the woods makes for a great golf experience. The range of elevated tea shots and elevation change makes the course very interesting. No two holes are the same. And I also really like there are some gettable birdie opportunities, which makes for a fun round every single time Course is in really good shape. I scheduled a morning tee time for my birthday! After warming up with a bucket at the range, staff told me & my buddy that we could start on the course whenever. There was someone on the green, at the first hole, so we waited a bit. 6 minutes before tee time, I hit the first shot. Drove it ok, took 4 shots to get to the green. By the time I was putting, a staff member was there waiting to tell us to go faster because the group behind us was getting ornery. Seemed odd but we continued. On the 2nd hole, my partner dunked a bunker shot and got par! I decided to pick up after that. We skipped the 3rd hole entirely. Walking to the 4th hole, another staff member came out of the pro shop to ask what he could do to help us go faster! He offered us a cart or suggested we come back another time... The line up at the tee box for Hole 1 was getting pretty long. I don't know if it's always booked out like this, but it was feeling stressful. He asked us to play the back 9 holes, and to come back and see him afterwards for credit or to play the front. Off we went. On the 9th hole, we hit off the tee and then picked up. I just wasn't feeling it anymore, feeling unwanted. We teed off and hit a shot or 2 on another hole, but decided to leave. It didn't seem worth it to stay, and we didn't care for credit since we won't be back. Some of the fairways were swampy & stunk like sewage. There was a sign in the bathroom stall saying that the toilets flush slowly due to an issue. There might be a correlation there? Not sure. read more

I read some reviews about rude service especially at the concession stand. My experience was the opposite. Everyone was over the top friendly and welcoming. The course was in great shape. We had a 6:44 am tee time on a Saturday. It was a little slow because there was a group of 5 two groups in front of us. I did find the greens difficult. No two greens played the same speed. That also may have to do with the fact that I suck at putting so who knows. Overall though a fantastic place to play. Cant wait to go back. read more

Snohomish Golf Course - 7th Hole - Golf Near Me - Snohomish, Washington

Normally I wouldn't update a review after just having updated it a few weeks ago, but our experience at Snohomish Golf Course this weekend warrants such. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism or rudeness by staff at a course. My walking foursome arrived on time, and we were called to tee off before our tee time, ok ok fine that's cool, we left most of our warm up bucket of balls behind but oh well. Group consisted up three experienced golfers and junior. At no point did we ever have a backup behind us, we were clipping along at a nice pace, playing ready golf etc. So on hold 3, some "kid" showed up in his power cart telling us to pick it up because the group in front of us was a couple holes ahead. Excuse me? I'm not going to run to keep up with a group ahead of us when we aren't causing any backup behind us. The goal is to keep the course moving, not to run to keep up with everyone ahead of you. We show up on the fourth tee box, which is right at the clubhouse pro shop window level. My hubs teed off with an great shot, my cousin unfortunately teed off and his ball bounced down to the next box, he re-teed and had an amazing shot. This is when we were the not so proud recipients of heckling from course staff. Sorry Snohomish Golf, your pro shop windows are NOT sound proof! We could hear heckle laughing his ass off, in turn I gave the other guy who could see me an incredibly nasty glare, to his credit he looked very embarrassed. At this point I wanted my money back and wanted to leave, but my husband talked me out of it. So we finished our 9 right behind the group ahead of us, not anyone in sight behind us. Oh and we were checked up on by mister cart boy periodically. When we finished we promptly cancelled our Fathers Day tee time, we had planned to talk to management but just a kid was in the shop. Such a pathetic display from this course today. I can't imagine returning anytime soon, and I withdraw all recommendations I've made to friends and family. We were also planning on buying their three month round package, now obviously that's not happening. It's really sad, we are locals, and I love to support local, but not when they treat you like crap. read more

this is a great course for the value and fact every hole is different. Elevated tee boxes, greens above tee boxes, creeks, ponds etc.. this is a fantastic course and worth the drive if you don't live close. very friendly staff and head pro John Brandvold is great. read more

We played there last weekend and I was pretty happy with the entire experience The greens were in absolute phenomenal shape. Well manicured nice and green just pretty near as perfect as you could expect for a public course that gets as much play as it does The golf course in general fairways and secondary cut was well manicured but starting to get dried out due to the lack of rain over the past couple weeks I don't think they have an irrigation system in place as of yet but I have a hunch one is coming due to the fact of multiple holes had obvious underground trenches and stuff cut right in the middle of the fairway which was not really pleasing to look at but it didn't affect your play unless you happen to hit right into it. Pretty reasonable rate because we were there Monday, July 3 and it was a nonholiday great day of $31 for 18 holes I think 15 bucks or so for the cart, total was just right at $50 with tax First time I have played here in about two or three years Pace of play was pretty good it got backed up a couple times on a few holes but it was a pretty busy Monday, July 3 when we were there right in the middle of the afternoon so a lot of people are golfing read more

This is a nice muni golf course. Wasn't in as good shape as some of the rota of Seattle munis but it wasn't as crowded either. Not too expensive, I think the fees were in the $30 range and the course was not a beast but also not a pitch and putt like some of the others you may play. All in all not a bad spot if you are looking for an inexpensive round. read more

With so many negative reviews about the staff at Snohomish Golf Course, I don't understand why the management doesn't do something. Horrible customer service. Staff in the snack area are rude. The place is dirty and the bathrooms filthy! We were there for a large event and they never restocked napkins, condiments or other items even though the staff were told they were out. One lady employee just shrugged when someone told her they were out of napkins. Really? DO YOUR JOB!!!! I wouldn't have given this any stars but a minimum of one is required to leave a review. I'll never support or attend any event at this venue in the future. read more

Excellent course. Ya it can get a little wet and beat up in certain spots but we are in Western Washington, not Arizona. I have been playing there for years and have always had a great experience with the staff. This is my favorite course in Snohomish County. Best value, gorgeous fairways, and friendly staff. They are constantly making improvements to the course. The staff is awesome, especially the guy, Seth, in the Pro Shop. They are all very personable and accommodating. I also love that they run specials often, especially during the rainy and winter months. The range is great too, I'll squeeze in a bucket before my tee time, or sometimes just come up to work on my terrible swing after work. All said, I dont think there is a nicer course in the area. Management & staff are absolute garbage. The attitude & culture at Snohomish Golf Course is in bad need of change. Ownership needs to "drain the swap." Way over priced for a 1400 tee-time in October. Gift shop in bad need of overhaul. Snack shack only takes cash (I am okay with that) however; bad business plan in 2018. Snack shack did not have a lot of items on the menu. Overall, I will never recommend a friend or family member to golf here. With all the competition in the area I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Beautiful course, a little pricey but overall a great day with family and friends! I was expecting it to be around 45.00 for the round but ended up being 75.00. The staff was very helpful and the lady that was in the concession stand was so sweet. Besides the price change it was a great outing! read more

I've been playing Snohomish GC since 1967. You will enjoy this course if your a beginner through professional. You will need all the shots (draw, fade, knock down, recovery) and you will need to be a good putter (the greens have some contour and run about 9 on the stimp in the summer). It's very picturesque with tree lined fairways of old growth fir with some reachable par 5's. If you are an advanced player, the blues provide a great challenge. I coach girls high school golf and we play our league tournament at Snohomish each year. The management always treats the players and coaches like they're every other paying customer, which isn't always the case when you're playing for free. As a golfer myself I enjoy playing the course a number of times each year. The price is right and the conditions are much better than some of the courses that I play for the same cost. I'd recommend it to any of my golfing friends and associates. read more

Had a really great experience at Snohomish golf course recently. I took my two kids (jr golfers) with me. The staff was very friendly/accommodating and the course was in great shape. The greens roll great and the layout is very challenging, allowing you to hit a lot of different clubs.
