What I appreciated most about Brevin was how well he communicated. If something didn't click for me right away, he would find another way to explain it or demonstrate it until I understood not only what I needed to change, but why I was changing it. He was also really flexible with my own comfort level and abilities instead of trying to force me into one specific way of swinging. Every single lesson I left with more knowledge and, more importantly, a plan for what I needed to work on at the driving range or practice greens. All of the technology, video, and feedback GOLFTEC provides is great, but having a coach like Brevin behind all of it is what made the experience excellent. I had a total of seven 30 minute lessons with Brevin, and the difference in my understanding of the golf swing and how to control different parts of it is honestly wild compared to when I started. I can't help but laugh when I watch the before and after videos from my first lesson compared to my last. My driver was my main focus coming in and we chipped away at that club for 3-4 lessons and the work paid off. I am finding fairways way more consistently and I understand what's going wrong when I don't. I had always hit the ball far but had troubles hitting it straight. I just recently hit my longest drive of 327 that rolled up to a green on a par 4. That would have been a lottery winning shot a few months ago but I come to the tee box expecting to put the ball far down the hole and in play now. I was consistently shooting in the 90s when I started. Since then, I've dipped into the 80s a handful of times and have a new personal best of 86. More importantly, I feel like I actually understand my swing now and have the knowledge and technique to continue improving on my own. 10/10 coach. 10/10 facility. If you're looking at taking lessons at GOLFTEC, I would absolutely recommend Brevin Brown.

Walking into this location, the young man could barely get off his phone to greet me. Was completely disinterested and created an energy that I assessed would not be an enjoyable learning experience. I would use GOLFTEC for additional lessons, but really screen who they were from. I walked out thinking I will be trying other possibilities for my next sets of instruction. Professionalism, passion and interest in wanting to have a conversation with a potential client walking in the door matter.

When my friends started playing golf a couple years ago, this was the first 18-hole course we…read moreplayed as a group. It's a very short course at 4700 yards and only Par 65 for 18. If you normally shoot in the 90's like me on a regular course, expect to shoot in the 80's. Also, there's no Par 5 holes, but an abundant of Par 3's. I think it's a good course for beginners, but you it can be recovering. Even though it's a short course, there are a lot of trees you can make contact with, so if you don't hit them straight, beware. Last weekend, my friends played a round of Winter golf here. On the positive side, the greens were nice for the winter. The golf ball rolled well and thank goodness there weren't any temporary greens because their temporary greens are not adequate. However, this course does not drain well at all. Even on a clear day with no rain the past 2 days, the fairways on multiple holes, especially on the back 9, were so soggy and wet. It muddied up my shoes, so much I needed to do a deep cleaning the next day. You definitely had to club up or two to hit out of the mud, in the fairway. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend playing the front 9 of this course just to get your feet wet. The price is slightly cheaper than your other municipal courses, but you get what you paid for. I've heard horror stories of the pro shop overcharging you, so I would check your bank statement the next couple days afterwards. Overall, if you and your friends are getting into golf or you have kids that want to play, I'd check out Lynnwood. If you're an avid golfer, I'd skip this one.

Well maintained course with a slow front nine but fun back nine to finish! This is a par 67 course…read morebecause there are no par 5's, and many of the par 4's are short so there is some lag time as you wait for people to clear the green ahead of you, especially #2. Highly recommend you get an early tee time (i.e. before 8am) or it'll easily be a 5+ hour round. Most of the par 4's have dog legs that you have to get the right distance on to avoid getting stuck behind trees, so use your golf app's GPS or hopefully you're playing with someone familiar with the course. The back nine has nice elevation changes and bunkers to challenge anyone, and the greens all have fair and even rolls. $55 a round feels a little high for par 67, but what isn't expensive nowadays. I've paid more for a lesser maintained course.

Free warm up buckets before the pro arrived, extra balls after she finished, track man set up for right AND left hand golfers, friendly knowledgable staff. I needed a couple of grips put on and it usally is a wait ... maybe a day or so, but becuse my GF was taking lessons, they got them done for me, so they would be ready when her lesson was done. NOT unusual service for this store. Highly recommended!

I called and spoke with a friendly representative named Ryan, who kindly put one on hold for me for 48 hours. I went into the store on a Saturday and was immediately greeted and offered assistance. When I checked out, the young man at the register was fast and friendly, while a very helpful man (in zebra pants) unboxed and prepared my new clubs for me. The store was very clean and organized and had my kind of music playing. :) The customer service we received from everyone was wonderful and much appreciated! I'll definitely be back.

Apparently, the kids you hire to coach golf and tennis to my son, abandoned my 5 year old son near the tennis courts. They also neglected to give him lunch and water on a hot and sunny day. So when the stranger called me at 1:30pm, my 5 year old son was hungry, thirsty and very afraid. Do you know how the stranger managed to find my phone number? Because I taught my 5 year old son to memorize my number and fortunately he remembered it. Brad, you have got to hire quality staff. You cannot hire high-school aged kids to take care of young children. When my wife rushed back to find my son, she went to the golf lesson. She saw your staff in the shade and young children again in the hot son, no-one teaching them. We were lucky yesterday: the stranger my son met in the park was kind and thoughtful and my son remembered my phone number. Brad you have my phone number. If you want me to change this review, please tell me you will hire caring staff, and that no more children will have such a traumatic experience.

This is definitely worth playing. Greens were nice, not park mark like the greens at Willow's. They're building a brand new driving range that looks amazing. The only knock would be that they should've sprung for the auto ball loaders like they have done in Arizona. Grounds crew take fantastic care of the facility, Marshals readily apparent out making sure that everybody's moving along. This is 10 times the golf course that the Willows run complex is. Don't go there go to the Seattle Municipal golf courses. They cost the same. I would rather drive 25 minutes in golf here than it Willow's run, which is only about 10 minutes from my house.
