I'm very grateful to my friend who posted about Navi Catering and the 19th Bar and Grill, because otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. I had conflicting information when I was doing some research on this place; Google said it was permanently closed (I corrected that). It is absolutely open. Decided to check out this place for lunch today and I'm really glad I did. Despite my small car, getting here was a little tricky due to the narrow roads, which are mostly for golf carts, but once you get to the parking lot at the end, it's all good. The drive is absolutely beautiful and it's hard not to want to just stop and take it all in. I mistakenly parked in the front of the building, but the restaurant is at the far corner. I discovered after I left that if you circle around to where it dead ends, you can go right into the restaurant and not have to walk down the long hallway in the main building. The restaurant/bar/grill is great! Not a huge menu, but I opted for a hot dog and fries, which was only $8.00. The fries were seasoned and so good and the portions were pretty large. They have bottled drinks and a table with an ice water dispenser and snacks for purchase. The place is pretty big and when I was there I was the only one seated in the restaurant. The other ladies that were there were outside on the deck. My server was extremely friendly and I really enjoyed talking to him. I was having a not so great day and he really cheered me up just by being friendly. This place is open till 6pm every day (I believe they open at 11), so I'm definitely going to come more often. It's pretty easy to get to if you look for the metal Nile Shrine sign on the right side of the street if you're coming off of I-5.

Course : Short fairly level. Good drainage in winter ; greens in decent shape for winter golf play. Be careful of tee boxes they don't always point the most advantageous for some golfers. Good course for novices Price : Good value course. Deals can be found often Amenities: Small pro shop , 19th hole is nice with fair prices.

Doesn't get better than this in April! Hole #8

An unimpressive front 9 precludes a surprisingly well layed out back 9 with some nice elevation change. I have to admit I was extremely skeptical about what I got myself into heading into the turn. I played early on one of our dime a dozen 70 degree spring days in the PNW and thought I had payed entirely too much ($35 walking rate) for a weekend round of golf. The front 9 is extremely cramped with all but a few holes being under 300 yards. Even with several nice peeks of Lake Ballinger, there was nothing special about the layout at all. Having barely rolled out of bed to make my 7 am tee time, I didn't have time to grab some breakfast so I decided to get some food at the turn. The #19 Bar and Grill had some decent breakfast items, but I asked for something quick and easy. The very nice woman working the bar (I wish I knew her name) was very helpful and recommended the Charlie Special. At $3.99 and a cooking time of only 3 minutes, it's your best option for breakfast at the turn. A suped up Egg McMuffin with hearty thick cut bacon that was cooked just right. I ordered 2....1 was plenty! The back 9 was night and day compared to the front 9 with a well designed layout with forgiving rough and some length for the big hitters (still no par 5s). There is enough trouble (tree lined fairways and green side bunkers) to make the course challenging, but not too challenging that you'll go through a dozen balls. Overall I think the asking price of $35 is a little steep considering the front 9, but the back 9 made me feel a little better about it. With such short par 4s on the front I can only imagine how backed up that course can get throughout the day. Each group basically has to wait for the group in front of them to leave the green before hitting their tee shots on at least 6 of the first 9 holes. Had I teed off an hour later, I'm sure my round would have been 5+ hours.

Food is fine and portions are generous. Even has ethnic offerings. The home made chips are great and prices are reasonable.

If you normally shoot in the 90's like me on a regular course, expect to shoot in the 80's. Also, there's no Par 5 holes, but an abundant of Par 3's. I think it's a good course for beginners, but you it can be recovering. Even though it's a short course, there are a lot of trees you can make contact with, so if you don't hit them straight, beware. Last weekend, my friends played a round of Winter golf here. On the positive side, the greens were nice for the winter. The golf ball rolled well and thank goodness there weren't any temporary greens because their temporary greens are not adequate. However, this course does not drain well at all. Even on a clear day with no rain the past 2 days, the fairways on multiple holes, especially on the back 9, were so soggy and wet. It muddied up my shoes, so much I needed to do a deep cleaning the next day. You definitely had to club up or two to hit out of the mud, in the fairway. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend playing the front 9 of this course just to get your feet wet. The price is slightly cheaper than your other municipal courses, but you get what you paid for. I've heard horror stories of the pro shop overcharging you, so I would check your bank statement the next couple days afterwards. Overall, if you and your friends are getting into golf or you have kids that want to play, I'd check out Lynnwood. If you're an avid golfer, I'd skip this one.

Even taking away the trash at the end of the night. So many venues expect the couple/clients to haul tables and chairs and trash to obscure storage locations on their property at 11:00 pm. This makes a big difference when hiring our team to help with takedown. I was able to give my clients a huge discount for my takedown/cleanup service. So all of you potential couples, think about this for your convenience and ease of operation for your event when looking for a wedding venue. It's in a neighborhood and set very far back from any houses. So it's a hidden gem! This place has amazing large lawns and lots of floral shrubs. Just driving up the lane to the venue gave me butterflies. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole day. They even helped my husband and I get my keys out of my locked car! The father of the groom thanked the owners in his toast so I have a good feeling they were wonderful to work with like he said. As it started to get dark they lit torches (not tacky tiki ones) around the outdoor dining/reception area and have so many other great lighting touches. This has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've seen (and I toured a lot for my wedding a few years ago). Just the amount of work it takes to make the grounds look that good is very impressive.

You will be so happy you did.] Candice and Christopher are hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. I can't imagine having gone through that experience without them. They are the definition of what it means to go above and beyond. We booked them for our wedding on San Juan Island in July 2022. There are thousands of things we could list here on why we'd choose Candice & Christopher over and over again, but here are just a few that scratch the surface. Going above & beyond for us: Our venue was a new location for Candice and Christopher. It was also huge,  complicated, and it was on an island. They happily booked a trip up to the island months before our wedding date to visit the venue and learn the in's and out's before the big day. They also had to get certified to drive the golf carts at the venue. Yet again, they happily signed up for and took a golf cart training for us. These are just two examples of so many where Candice & Christopher far surpassed our expectations and found opportunities to make the extra effort to ensure our day was perfect. Advocating for us: They joined all our phone calls with vendors in the months before the wedding. When one of our vendors changed their tune on a previous agreement, Candice & Christopher spoke up to advocate for us in a way that was super collaborative with everyone involved and secured what we needed from that vendor. When grey area arose, they jumped in to create clarity and made sure all the details were sorted.  Supporting us: My first steps to the aisle were down 2 small steps. As I started to walk my dress got caught under my shoes and I would've ate it if Christopher hadn't somehow appeared next to me to stealthily help me catch my balance. From miraculous physical support like this to being our all-around cheerleaders through the process, we felt incredibly supported throughout. The two of them teamed up to cover all the details of our massive (and rather particular) venue. I couldn't imagine a better team behind us to tackle that with what looked like ease and joy. I think that's something that sets them apart, the genuine joy they seem to get by creating a magical experience for an occasion they have so much love for. I have a memory of Candice smiling and grooving to the beat at the end of the night while helping wipe down a table. They truly love what they do. Trust me when I say the dynamic duo of Candice & Christopher cannot be matched. If you've found your way here to their page, do yourselves a favor and book them. You will be so happy you did.
