I would only use this course as a last resort for the following reasons - the grounds are terrible and so is the disrespectful grounds staff, the front desk staff is hit and miss on if you get someone who knows how to talk to people or someone who has no business in customer service, the range is unbelievably run down with matts that needed to be changed years ago, and don't even try to chip or putt beyond 15 ft or they will berate you and try and make you leave. Oh and I played putt putt once on a date and regretted it by hole 3. I have never felt so disrespected and completely out of place as a decent human being on a golf course in my life! read more

A wonderful establishment :) We did the driving range here. Beautiful views, well kept greens / well maintained. Lots of bays - two floors. Balls come out into the buckets from vending machines which I thought was so cool. Snacks and beer for sale. There is also putt putt and course golf here. read more

I had a deeply unsettling encounter at Interbay that reeked of unprofessionalism and what felt like discrimination. To preface, we completed the 9 hole course in 75 minutes (an average of 8.3 minutes per hole). It was a busy day and we were backed up waiting for the groups in front of us at every hole. The course ranger (wearing an orange beanie) only approached my group and very aggressively said "this is not going to work" regarding our pace, despite the evident course-wide backlog and our appropriate pace of play. He did not approach a single other group. This interaction was extremely disturbing, and calls into question if I was approached because I was the only female and minority player on the course. I hope that I was not subject to gender and race discrimination by this course ranger, but it certainly felt like it. I hope Interbay ensures that all staff, especially those in positions of authority like the ranger, undergo comprehensive sensitivity training to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all golfers. Otherwise, I do want to say I've always had good experiences with all other staff members at Interbay. read more

For what this place is, my friend and I had so much fun mini golfing here! It took us roughly an hour to an hour and a half to finish. The mini golf area was beautiful and well taken care of. There were so many bunnies hopping around and enjoying the sunshine while we were playing as well. There are more than enough trash cans throughout the course for you to throw items away if you go get yourself a beer or a cider first before heading out to play, which we would highly recommend! We had a good experience and would definitely go back sometime soon! read more

Pandemic Review. This is a review of the Short 9 or Par 3 course at Interbay. Since most things have been shut down around Seattle, it's nice to have some outdoor activities available. Over the past several months, my friends have taken up golfing, so they can get out of the house more and as beginners, we've been playing a lot of Par 3 courses around the greater Seattle area. Previously, I've played Interbay a couple times with other more experienced golfers and the length of each hole is a lot longer than most Par 3 courses, which makes it a challenge. In terms of Par 3 public courses, this is probably my favorite out of them all. It's the most expensive of the Par 3 courses with a $16.50 greens fee with tax, but it's worth it. It's well maintained, you're not teeing off of an astroturf mat and the greens are clear of leaves during the fall and winter. Also, the first hole is a Par 4, so you can actually use a driver or wood if you prefer. Unlike most Short 9 courses, you do have to call in to book a tee time, because it's a popular course within the heart of Seattle. My friends love playing here because it's fairly straight forward and you don't lose a lot of balls playing the course. Other than a few sand traps to challenge you, it's a easy course fitting for players who have a long iron game. Holes 6 & 7 are 175 and 172 yards respectively. Afterwards, my friends usually like to grab beers as losers with the highest score has to pay. Prices for beers are pretty standard for most golf complex cafes. I had a San Juan Hard Seltzer and it was about $7 for a tall can, which is a bit more than if you buy at grocery stores. The menu does have lunch specials that come with a bucket of balls for the driving range, which seems like a better deal. Overall, this is a fun course and great way to get out right now. My friends will probably play here once a month until the weather starts to get too cold, but we'll definitely be back in the spring. read more

My fiancé is absolutely addicted to this place. There are many services offered and it's a great place to get a peaceful session in. If you enjoy top golf, this is a bit similar (apart from being served) and they even have the tracing available. The balls are inexpensive ($13 for 100) for the driving range. There is an upper level and a lower level. There is also a small cafe that sells alcohol and quick bites to eat. The facility is very clean and respectfully quiet. I am terrible at golfing as a beginner but I felt as though no one was judging or crowding the bays. read more

What we did: Two adults for mini golf at $9/per person Pros: -It is a nice outdoor course adjacent to the actual golf course they have (it is fenced off) -This is really fun if you go at an off time, and can probably get two games in Cons: -If you come during prime time (like me), you might get stuck behind a large party, so you either have to awkwardly try to pass them, or just wait -Lots of bees so be careful! -Course could be more difficult All in all, great venue. This review is for the mini golf only. Came on a Saturday night and it was moderately busy. The course itself is not that interesting and pretty easy. Seems like it was just an added afterthought without a lot of thought put into the design. It's fine for a quick outdoor activity with the family or friends. What really turned me off was the bathroom inside, specifically the women's restroom. It was so dirty and gross in there that that would deter me from wanting to go back. I wouldn't mind trying the driving range some time. The outdoor monitors look really cool. But I don't think I'll be back for the mini golf. read more

Saw an article in Parentmap recommending the mini golf course, and it didn't disappoint. Took my daughter and her friend here to play their first game of mini golf. Well, we didn't keep score or keep track of which hole we visited or how many attempts taken...but it was fun! They were able to select their own clubs and color of their golf balls (take my advice and strongly recommend they choose different colors). The course has hills, water falls, little streams, bridges, and beautiful flowers that kept the kiddos entertained for a couple of hours. The girls are under the age of 7, so I was so happy they were willing to try. We took a break for lunch and ordered chicken strips, hotdogs and ate outside under an umbrella. Kid approved and the lady who took our order was wonderfully patient with the kiddos and simply nice! We will certainly return and I've already asked the hubby to take me for a date nite. The pricing for food and golf was great! We visited during the week so there were no crowds and no need to rush through the course. read more

Came here when I first began golfing. Took some lessons with Eric, and despite being nervous to feel judged as a first time golfer, the atmosphere and attitude that not only Eric, but the staff and patrons at Interbay have fostered is impressive and has gotten me hooked. I now come twice a week, as I have for the last two months. The renovated pro shop is really nice, and Eric has continued to be a resource for me as I continue to learn to golf. Boyfriend is getting me into golf. I'm terrible at it but I enjoy. Being out on the green and getting the fresh air is so nice. I just have to develop the actual skill now, lol. This is a nice little par 3 perfect for a terrible golfer like me. Of course boyfriend kicks butt in golf but I'm still learning. We try to move fast because the course is crowded, there were a lot of people behind us but I really enjoyed it here. I just hope I get better, lol. read more

Golfed on a Friday afternoon and went off behind a 6-some. They were not only 6 golfers but they were VERY slow as well. There was a three group backup by the third hole. I called the clubhouse and was told they would handle it. They did nothing so we skipped the 6th hole and by the time we reached the 7th tee the group now ahead of us was already leaving the 8th green. When we finished I went in to complain and was told that group paid for two full tee times, so it was essentially our tough luck. So be forewarned if you golf here and the group ahead of decides to pay a little extra they can ruin the experience of every group behind them. read more

STOPPPPPP!!!!!! Who knew a freakin mini golf course in Interbay would be such a BLAST, haha! First of all, you can drink. Second of all, you can play mini golf. Win. Win. Okay but seriously, down to business. They have a bar with wine bar and the beer $3.50 -$7.00 in a can. They offer some snacks and CANDY! However I did not indulge. So listen. The course is NOTHING fancy. However, just drink one in the café and take one on the course and you'll have a blast. The course is 18 holes. Pretty simple, yet still challenging. I wish they would clean up the leaves but it didn't bother us at all. Really simple course honestly. The driving range is a double decker and is apparently heated. I will have to come back and check it out. I will say getting in to the place is a quick turn but there's plenty of parking which is rare in Seattle and nice. read more

Exactly what you'd expect from a in the city par 3. You're walking the course since they have no carts, which was fine for us. Edit: Adam reached out to me, and they do have a few carts if you need one. Like I said, this wasn't an issue for us just informing others. We came in early May, so the considering weren't the best, but regardless we had a good time. Docked a few stars for the quality of the course, as well was the clientele are not golfers and don't understand the courtesies and rules of golf. I don't know anything at all about golf, but a few colleagues invited me to the driving range with them and I always say that I'll try anything at least once. My basic requirement for visiting the home of any place that caters to hobbyists of any kind is for nobody on staff to make me feel like a moron when I let them know that I have no idea what's going on. The men at the counter were very helpful in letting us know how to get started, and even though it was crowded because of net renovations, we still were able to find a spot and have fun. We only paid $13 for 100 balls, which is so much cheaper than I expected! This includes a club rental if you need one. The driving range itself has heaters on the awning above that do WONDERS for keeping you warm even when outside during the winter, modern screens that I will probably never figure out how to use, and a friendly vibe of golfers drinking beer and having fun. I don't know the specifics that real golfers look for in a driving range, but I can definitely speak to this one passing a thorough vibe check. read more

Mini golf is terrible. The course is not maintained well. Much of the green indoor/outdoor carpeting is missing or has rips in it. The ball frequently bounces over the bricks and into the water or grass. There is standing water on some of the holes. I would not go back. read more

Interbay's mini golf course is a little bit above average and is fairly cheap price to play. And it is also a cool course but some of the turf is ripped and is falling apart. The driving range is in nice condition and very fun to play there is also a snack bar which is a little over priced but makes a nice snack. Overall interbay is fun to play. read more

My 2 favorite thing about golf; cute fashion and BALLS, I mean what more do you need? Interbay gives you extra balls, like double the balls for the price of 1 so if you're craving some balls on weekdays before the hours of 9am or the last 2 hours of closing which right now during summer is 11pm, this is the place to go. I came here late on a Wednesday and it was lit, overall there's just a lot of activity you can do whether it be the driving range, mini golf, or even hanging out to get drinks/food at their bar. There's clubs you can borrow if you don't have your own and there's no dress code at all, I'm still going to wear my cute ass golf outfits though. This is the few public courses in proper Seattle area so everybody gathers up at this one since it's probably the biggest one around. You definitely don't need to be a great golfer or even a golfer to come here, you'll be able to figure out putt-putt just fine with some beer added to the equation. I saw their service menu and they do offer really affordable lessons if you're interested in improving your skills. Who doesn't love to swing some golf from time to time? You want to be playful and try miniature golf? Putt Putt! Or get buckets of balls and hit the range?! Yeaaaaaa. Sunset golf is the best. Their 9 holes is often way too busy but you can always find a spot for the range. Upstairs is usually better bet since it gets so busy here. They also have lessons! Driving range has about 5 dozen stalls or more. They also have fans/heaters for weather. With our current super summer ( super hot), one can appreciate the breeze. It's good for anyone. Family, friends, date night etc. They also have par 3 course and mini putt! The putting was fun but it gets super busy. You end up waiting for others to finish their turn!! It's still fun though. Everyone's drinking and putting! But driving range is a different story! You can still find a space/stall!! If you come with more than two, might be hard getting stalls together but two to three is easy. And on a weeknight, double balls after 9 pm! Umm yes please. Come early, get your stall and hit them balls. Wait till sundown and double that fun. What's not to love! It is well maintained, pretty, green and fun! Their happy hour is great too. It has been about three months since I've hit a golf ball. I usually spend one day a week at the range during the winter and early spring to get ready for summer golf. I can't say that I have game, but I'd like to think I can hold my own. Last night I flubbed the first couple of shots and then I really got into a groove and was sending some nice shots down range. It felt pretty good, but one must stay humble, because whatever the golf gods give, they can take away. This is a great place to practice. I usually head down the hill with one of my golf buds and split a jumbo bucket of balls (153) that runs for $12. They have a really nice putting green and separate pitching green to help you dial in on your short game. I really wish they didn't take out the practice sand trap at the most eastern end of the driving range. Cold weather is not a factor here because they have heated tees! There are 80 stalls on two decks so you shouldn't have a problem finding a place to shoot. The Jack Nicklaus designed course can be pretty challenging on some holes. Plus the wind can play a factor on the western part of the course. If you bring your ball retriever, you can load up on golf balls gone astray along the southern border of the course. If you happen to be around Interbay around lunchtime, you should take advantage of their lunch bucket special. You get a cheeseburger or deli sandwich with a medium soda, plus a medium bucket of balls (68) for $10. A medium bucket normally goes for $7. Another great thing about Interbay is their Thursday BBQ Jazz Nights. They have great live entertainment and the buffet is pretty good too. It starts up again on July 12th. read more

I've only been to play mini-golf. What can I say, I'm "BIG TIME," and have never learned to swing a golf club. For 18 holes with well-maintained courses, the money is well worth the entertainment it provides. They also have quite the color selection of balls, which is great if you are with a big group. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Now, lets get one thing clear, I am nowhere near what someone would consider a "great golfer", but heck, I sure make a valiant attempt! Only eight bucks for a person to spend as much time as they want on the mini-golf course, as many rounds, even take a break and grab a bite to eat in the club house which actually has pretty good food! Nothing 5 star or anything, but edible and filling. One of my favorite things is how you can bring your drinks out to the mini-golf course and throw back a few out there, personally, I find it to help my game :) The Happy Hour is awesome, especially if you want to go up to the driving range, a pitcher and a bucket of balls. Everytime I come here I try to get a bucket or two in at the driving range because 1) I need practice and 2) I feel rad whenever I hit it far! I was visiting Seattle for a few days and I decided to check out the Interbay Golf Center. They had a well maintained facility. I did not have my clubs with me, and this place had a few decent clubs that I borrowed to practice my swing. I picked a driving range stall with the top tracer which was quite useful. They also have distance markers, so if you are not keen on all the fancy metrics you can skip the top tracer. The staff were very helpful and friendly. read more

Really enjoy the variety that Interbay offers: mini golf, practice green/bunker, par 3 course, and driving range with top tracer. The par 3 course is fun because you get an opportunity to drive the green on the first hole before playing the rest of the course with your irons and wedges. Would love another hole that you could use the driver though. Main drawback to this place is that it gets really busy and finding parking can be tough in the late afternoons and weekends. read more

I've never played the course or done the mini golf, but they are there as an option as well...the course looks mighty small, probably a par 3 type course for irons only. I use to frequent this place prior to the MAJOR upgrade it had done several years ago. Went not that long ago and attended a kid birthday party here. What a surprise! This place is really nice!! Party-wise They let you bring in your own cake and food if I remember correctly. It was great for the parents who got to take swings, oh, the kids did as well... Putt-putt AKA mini golf, as I know the game to be called is really nice. The course is in tip top shape. No moving windmills or dancing clowns to shoot through, but it's all fun none the less. Driving range and Pro shop are top notch. Pro shop help is nice and not there to push the latest and greatest stuff on you. Just a warning, this place can get PACKED during the summer months, but really what doesn't in Seattle. Oh, they have really nice heated slots at the driving range!
