Our ultimate goal was being free to enjoy our wedding and leave the details of the day in trusted hands--and boy did she over-deliver. Britta was prompt and professional in all communications and incredibly receptive to our vision. In our pre-wedding discussions she anticipated all of our concerns and assuaged them with remarkable competence. She organized a meeting at the venue to review our plans and made numerous valuable suggestions for how we could best utilize our space and our time. To ensure a smooth ceremony she facilitated a walk-through with our entire wedding party and key guests and gave all of us (including a first time officiant) the tools and confidence to pull off the ceremony of our dreams. Day of there was little for us to do aside from get married, she took care of every detail and we felt no need to do anything but enjoy the ride. Britta was the first to arrive and coordinated setup and instructions for all our other vendors. At every step she was there orchestrating the ceremony and reception while maintaining her bubbly and affable demeanor. Even in our moment of "crisis" when my wife tripped and scuffed her dress, Britta was there with her emergency kit and made it look like nothing had happened. When our dream wedding was done, she was the last to leave and made sure every vendor was taken care of and packaged and delivered all our keepsakes. We couldn't have done this without her, and can't believe how affordable she was. Your wedding day is supposed to be a celebration, make sure you can enjoy it by leaving the day of to Britta.

Before the wedding, we were able to ask her questions about timelines & general wedding etiquette, and she did a walkthrough of our venue with us the month before to make sure we had everything ironed out. In the week leading up to the wedding, she verified everything with our vendors & made sure everyone was on the same page. The day of the wedding, she was the coolest & calmest presence you could hope for -- all while putting out a million fires that we never had to hear about. When she did need our instruction or approval for something, her questions never felt invasive or stressful. She was somehow on top of everything going on for all the different aspects of the day, without breaking a sweat. We felt so stress-free knowing that if anything came up, Britta could handle it. She also came prepared with an emergency kit, which came in handy for some of our guests with wardrobe malfunctions! Britta was so obviously fantastic at her job that several of our family members commented during the day & afterwards about how great she was, and how they wished they'd had her for their weddings. If you're looking for a day of coordinator, there's truly no one better than Britta!

They worked with us with what we envisioned and we trusted them to deliver the best. They were easy to talk to and were very responsive with phone calls and emails. We were able to have in-person meetings with them as well. Our wedding was in Long Beach, CA and we live in So Cal. We received demo photos for approval prior to wedding. The floral arrangements were top notch. Definitely worth it! We had a wedding package with them and were able to add on items right before the wedding. We had bridal flowers (boutonnieres, bouquets, corsages), ceremony flowers, flowers for the aisle, and table centerpieces, We added later fresh flowers on the cake and flowers in the napkins. (Note: We had about 19 tables and 200 guests.) They delivered the bridal flowers at the hotel prior to the wedding and set up the floral arrangements at our venue. We really had fun working with them. I highly recommend them!

I corresponded with Nola herself a couple of times in the weeks leading up to the event, and she was very accommodating and patient with me as I changed my mind a couple of times regarding the menu and level of service. It is not cheap to have an event catered, period, but we wanted to have it be an extra-special celebration where we could enjoy ourselves with our guests without the hassle of preparing, warming, plating and serving food and making individual cocktails for everyone. Nola's came through, big time! Nola herself and her bartender, Brandi, arrived a couple of hours early and got themselves set up. We barely had to do a thing once we discussed with them where the bar and food platters should go. We got to just go upstairs and take our time getting ready, and come down a few minutes before the party start time and have Brandi fix us a drink to have in hand as our guests arrived. So luxurious! The party was so fun, thanks in large part to Nola and Brandi and the fabulous food, drinks, and service. Our guests raved about all of the yummy platters - particularly the shrimp with aioli sauce, the mushroom flatbread bites, the smoked salmon toasts, and the charcuterie board with roasted and pickled vegetables. People got extra glowy and happy from Brandi's amazing cocktails, including incredible manhattans and French 75s. Nola and Brandi chatted with our guests and even joined in some of the dancing at the end of the evening! We got to get glamorous and visit with everyone fully after so many months of cancelled and postponed events and having to worry about getting together with too many people. It was, in a nutshell, a truly special and memorable event thanks to Nola's, and was completely worth it. We will definitely be using them again. Highly, highly recommend.

If this was my experience with less than 2 min in the venue then I can't imagine how awful utilizing this companies services would be. The planning process: Danielle, the event manager, was organized, thoughtful, answered all our questions promptly, and gave us ample heads-up with any deadlines we might be approaching. She had a great group of vendors who she worked with (we went with one of her florist and DJ recommendations- both were stellar). 2. The night of the wedding- I heard from many friends to prepare myself for things going wrong and to roll with it - but nothing went wrong! The event staff at Georgetown took care of everything! The food was delicious (many raves about the meal and the appetizers), and the drinks were equally good (a wide range of options + our signature cocktails - the Jolly Roger and the Orange Mojito). The groom and I were able to dance and enjoy the time with all of our guests, knowing that everything was taken care of. Finally- the venue itself - it was gorgeous and exactly what we imagined for our wedding day. The location is great, just down the street from some fun after-party bars. I highly recommend hosting an event at Georgetown Ballroom.
