On the day of my wedding at 6:30am, my now-husband received the devastating notification from my venue that they were shut down by the city and they would be unable to host our event. Most couples would be left scrambling. But we were fortunate enough to have Marga as a friend, who stepped in upon hearing about our predicament. By the time I was notified at 10am after our tea ceremony, our friends, led by Marga and Julie, had already found a replacement venue and were just awaiting the okay for the switcheroo. Within an hour, they had acquired a banquet license (because we definitely would need the alcohol to deal with that previous venue. lol), notified and contacted all our vendors of the last minute change, and were busy figuring out a layout to accommodate 240 guests, a ceremony, a photobooth, and a backdrop for entrance photos. After numerous Costco runs by friends and family, we had managed to acquire all the supplies needed to host a wedding ceremony and reception for 240 people on the fly. When we arrived at the venue, it was absolutely beautiful. One would not be able to tell that we had signed the contract for the venue at 3pm for a ceremony that began at 5pm. We had such an amazing time at our wedding, and Marga and Julie were instrumental to the success of pulling off this miracle wedding. If Marga and Julie can pull off a wedding in less than 8 hours, I can only imagine the work they could do if they had the time to sit down and actually breathe. I cannot recommend J&M Soirees more wholeheartedly - they are miracle workers and made everything such a breeze. #8HourWedding read more
