This is gonna be a long one. I neglected to ever post a review for the car I leased in April of this year. Unfortunately, I ended up being rear-ended and my car was totaled. After some back and forth between Honda leasing and AAA, things worked out. But my lease was not going to be closed until Honda processed the payment from AAA. But that takes a few weeks. So I was concerned that Honda wouldn't let me lease again so soon before my first lease was paid and closed. I reached back out to Matthew Curren (whom I had worked with before), and ultimately spoke with David Klenow, Matthew and Micah. My original first point of contact was Michael Hodge, who was lovely to work with. Once David scheduled me for an appt this past Wednesday the 10th, I worked with Matthew Curren on getting a deal as close to the first lease I had. The first lease was a good deal, and I appreciated that they managed to deliver on my requests. They took some extra pity on me this time (joking: they were very sympathetic), and figured out some ways so I would have decent maintenance warranty and a monthly payment that only hurts a little. I plan to refinance or purchase when my lease is up, because this new car has to last me until I retire. (~30 years). Overall, Micah, (both) Matthew(s), Michael, and David were very helpful and flexible and clearly picked up quickly that I was going to be stubborn about getting the color car I wanted and getting the price I wanted. By Friday afternoon that week, they had called to let me know the car was in. They had to do a transfer since they didn't have the color I wanted on their lot. Matthew Curren was very kind in explaining that process and that yes it does add a little to the overall cost. But he understood that if I'm dropping this much money on a car, I want to be exactly what I wanted. I don't have much experience with dealerships and new cars (these have been my first new cars), but I felt a lot of genuine feelings from the guys I worked with and Micah was especially sweet in asking what had happened and continuously ensuring my questions were answered and that I had snacks.
