America's Best Eyecare + Eyewear please hire better!!!…read more Loc: Mayfield Hts, OH Everything was great until I was asked to sit down and wait for someone who was returning from lunch in order to get services to purchase glasses after my eye exam. She came back and told me to move because she was taking someone else. Then, she was told by another rep, no she needed to take me first. So then she just looked over with an attitude and told me to move back. No apologizing for the inconvenience. She also smelled like horrible marijuana which made me nauseous. She proceeded to mumble only God knows what so I asked her what was she saying and still with a rude look and attitude asked if I wanted to use my insurance or pay out of pocket. I'd keep going on, but what was said next just doesnt matter!!! The whole conversation was just 10000% unacceptable and I've been coming to this company for years. I've sent my parents, siblings, husband, friends and so many others to this company and her attitude today just made me say.... No thank you. I'll take my prescription and go elsewhere. I'm super upset that I had to even experience this. She said to get my prescription I had to pay for the exam, so I did and left. Do better AB!!! If she was having a bad day, she needs to go home and not let her negativity run over to others. I'm so disappointed!!!! #BadCustomerService Fyi: everyone else in the place were great. Sadly all it takes is one bad apple to ruin the whole bunch

I'm very disappointed with my experience with this store. I purchased an Onirico ON154 frame with…read moreprescription lenses and paid $780 after their discount. The frame alone was priced at over $700, with another $220 for the prescription lenses before the discount. (It was $920 in total). After purchasing, I researched the exact same ON154 model and found European optical retailers selling the frame for around €205. I understand that prices can vary between retailers and countries, but the difference in pricing was significant enough to make me question whether I was charged a fair price. I contacted the store to ask for a reasonable price adjustment because I simply believe the final price should be brought more in line with the actual market value of the exact frame. Unfortunately, Ms. Cathy, who originally sold the glasses was off so I'm currently waiting for her to review the situation and respond. I'm very disappointed that I had to discover this pricing difference only after making the purchase. I strongly recommend that customers research the exact frame and compare prices before purchasing here, especially for higher-priced designer frames.

He went about checking my eyes & took plenty of time in determining my exact prescriptions for each eye. 4th - I paid the $30.00 co-pay for the exam 5th - "Staff" then showed me frames for children even though I am 75 years old. I have a small face & children's size frames are sturdy & fit my face just right. I was never pressured to consider more expensive frames. 6th - I paid for the glasses & frames, a week later they called me & had them in their office, I drove right over, was admitted, & "Staff" brought out my new Distance & Reading glasses/frames. 7th - The frames were a perfect fit & both the Distance & Reading glasses definitely improved & sharpened my vision & thankfully, everything with Prominence Health Care was approved in a timely manner. I now consider Eye Zone to be my Go-To Opticians here in Reno & will readily & whole-heartedly RECOMMEND Eye Zone to others.

Dr. Lander and her staff at Hillcrest Family Vision are AWESOME! Friendly, knowledgeable,…read moreprofessional service with modern equipment keeps me coming here every year even though we now live more than 20 miles away (we moved over five years ago). There are a lot of options between them and I but I know I'll get treated right here. Intake involves a combination of human interaction and a variety of harmless machines. All areas display immaculate cleanliness and health safety procedures. Dr. Lander then sits down with you and reviews all the data collected at intake plus your history before beginning her own examination. Dr. Lander is my first optometrist I've ever had relate outside life (beyond just how you see) and extra-visual health with how you see and what she sees with your eyes. For example, we've talked about my heart, mental stress (work), and allergies and how they correlate with what she sees in my eyes. Beyond knowledgeable, she is also very pleasant and comfortable to converse with. Very, very full and widespread optical selection for frames and options for glasses (i.e. Transitions lenses) and three opticians available to set you up nicely. Optician Walter knows how to make me look good in glasses - no easy feat in my case! I let him do the picking and hear how good the results look from folks I know. I know Hillcrest Family Vision offers additional and more complex services like Lasik. But luckily I haven't needed to go that far so can't report any details. IMPORTANT: Yes, they are very busy here! She is popular for good reason. In all the years I've come here, any delay I've experienced was due to other people's walk-in eye urgent situations. I can't blame anybody for this and it's best to reserve judgment; rather just appreciate your own situation and that she's willing to help anyone who's eyes have needs with a little more priority! Hey, when you see a woman come in clasping her hand against her eye with obvious soreness, count your blessings you don't have whatever she's having! Because fat-fingers-me always needs spares, I do buy my contacts elsewhere due to bulk pricing (Costco). Except for that, Dr. Lander fulfills all our optometric needs! Great job everybody!

I'm a young Latino and when I enter this place, I was ignored! Throughout my search, I was looking and the glasses they're amazing of course because it's brand named, but the service I received was awful. I asked a simple question to one of the workers and the response I got was SASS and a dumbing down experience, like he was making me feel dumb for even asking the question and not knowing, like sorry I don't work at LensCrafters honey. Then the next associate who helped me was even worse I told him all I wanted to buy was the frames no greeting no hello how are you? Just wait till the next person is available with attitude and keep in mind. This guy walks up to a woman of his race African-American to be exact and greets them in such a caring manner and ask them if they need any help. Is there anything I could do for you and just a welcoming feeling for them but for me nothing just wait here and I waited and I waited and nobody attended me so I left those glasses and I left the store and that just tells you folks a lot. I honestly don't do reviews at all, if you check my profile, you'll see that I specifically made this Yelp because of how disgusted I was from this experience.

I have…read morea really bad prescription so he checked thoroughly for astigmatism and for signs of retinal detachment. However I have an issue with the way they do business when it comes to collecting insurance information. I had the worst experience with the lady at the desk who appeared nice but talked in circles and gave me conflicting information from what information I received from my vision insurance carrier the day before. And she kept trying to convince me that she was giving me a BETTER deal than what my insurance carrier would've provided. I'm so sick of this industry snaking me for money that they don't deserve. I told them I wanted glasses while they kept trying to convince me that I need contacts. They just get paid more when insurance pays for that. And then they charged me a $40 contact fitting fee when I didn't order any contacts and they don't fit you for anything. I've been wearing contacts since I was 13 years old, I put those in myself like I always do. I walked out without buying anything from them. I just got the exam and paid the $40. But if you do decide to go there do research with your insurance company and stand your ground with what you want to get because like all these places, they have selfish motives with the recommendations.
