The salesman followed me around the whole time in an effort to "assist" me by trying to up-sell me on the most expensive frames and every available option on the lenses. What should have been "free" glasses based on my benefit allowance ended up costing me $125. My own fault for falling prey to the pressurized sales tactics, I suppose. But then when my glasses arrived, the lenses lacked the gradient tint that was supposed to be included so they had to be shipped back to the factory. When I finally got them back, they had replaced the original case which was a perfect fit with one that was oddly shaped, barely big enough and snapped shut with such force it could take a finger or two! I asked for my original case and was basically told "tough luck". I said that this was the wrong case and was told that I was mistaken, this was the correct case for these glasses and the other one had been the wrong one. I left and will not be back....

Shelly helped me shop for new frames and helped make suggestions for what she thought would look good on my face based of the look I wanted. She actually picked out the pair I ended up getting! The whole experience was amazing, as it is every year. And when I went to pick up my glasses the presentation of them was impressive and they were happy to make any adjustments I needed so my glasses sat comfortably on my face. Whenever I said "dr" she would rudely interrupt with the dr's name. She has a very strange fascination with this guys last name. Then she would start reading something about how in 2020 Dr. Bozo wanted to see me. I interrupted, trying to state my current concern. She was unable to switch her tact from self-aggrandizement to one that is customer focused. She kept repeating some nonsense about 2020. She finally said, "now, when you come in here..." I interrupted that I was not going to set foot in that place since she was unable to listen to customers. I had a great experience at Broad View Eye Clinic who listened to me, got me in for an appt in 2 days, while also monitoring for earlier canceled appointments. If I would have waited the almost 3 weeks for the appointment, I could have suffered loss of vision due to not having glaucoma drops. Lori, working at an eye clinic, had no idea and didn't care one iota. She's too busy reciting Dr. bozo's name over and over again. The next person I talked with at this office was about transferring my records to the other clinic. They told me my prescription was expired. I had to tell her again that I have 2 glaucoma test results that need transferred. She was dumbfounded. She said they couldn't send the records because there wasn't paperwork on file. She wanted me to come pick it up a form in 7 degree weather. She was not sure if she was "allowed" to send the form via email. Seriously. Stay away from this place. They don't care about your eyes.

Big competition to some of the funky frames I found at online retailers They have some big name designers brand too if you are in to those. The pricing is fantastic I got 2 frames w/o my insurance (EyeMed not approved at Costco) The total cost was less than 1 frame at my optometrist office with insurance!!! The opticians are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Now I haven't gotten my glasses yet but will update this review when I do So far. Top notch satisfied!
