I have gone to many different places, and pretty much thought they were all the same, and I eventually settled on a "chain" store, thinking it would be "better". Boy was I wrong! Not only is the service better, but the prices we SIGNIFICANTLY lower for great quality! I can't wait to get my new glasses! However, in the last couple of years they have been everything, but friendly. They seem to hate to deal with Good Rx coupons and they just seem to be really unhappy. Walked in to the nice smell of candle and saw shelves of jewelry right in front of me past an old rustic table. I'm home! I spent an hour going through all the rooms and chatting it up with the friendly clerk, came out with some treasures. In summary: this is my new favorite vintage store in Cleveland! It's a former florist where they grew all their own flowers so the building is big and has a country and shabby chic appeal. The style in here is an interesting mix of cool retro vintage, shabby country, and newer things that go with having a cool lifestyle. Their handmade soaps are the cheapest prices i've seen around town. I love that so much recycled and repurposed things are here: it's not just a place for gifts (for yourself or others), but i'm finding practical things too (I've been here three times total since I first walked in this January). It's the kind of place where you'll see a shelf of interesting old and weird books next to brand new quirky cookbooks, a rack of nice jewelry calling out at you, then around the corner there's some amazing old stoves and shelves of retro kitchen stuff and 60's barware, and before you know it you're planning to redo your living room with mid-century decor and cool painted furniture while you stock up on great rock records. The exam was quick, Dr. Fath knows how to get you in and out easily and is very professional/friendly. the x-rays/optical pics ? beforehand were so easy because assistant Tabitha was super patient running me through the testers. Gia and Joy were also knowledgeable about the frames and helped me to pick a pair that I'm comfortable wearing. Joy also was kind enough to give us a great discount on our lenses.
