Best anecdote - I wanted to wear contacts for my wedding but had been hesitant for a while because I have some contacts issues. Last minute I decided that I DID want to wear contacts. I called Heather and asked if there was any way I could get a fitting and buy a set. She said not to worry - she'd give me some free samples for the wedding and we could just leave it at that. Great! Unfortunately, I was running around doing a number of errands and forgot to pick up the samples. I freaked out. I called Heather and she said she could go to the shop and leave some outside in a little bag for me, and I could pick them up when I got around to it. I went and picked them up the night before the wedding. Crisis averted. MUCH better than your local Lenscrafters.

I had yet to receive a call over a week later, and decided to call myself to place an order as I am running out of contact lenses. ABC Vision refused to bill my insurance because it "took too long to receive payment last year". This was never communicated to me, and had I known this I never would have returned to ABC for an exam. The lack of communication and disregard of patient health is unacceptable. I am really disappointed because the doctor here is great and it's not her fault that staff are so unwilling to support patients.

It is now close to a month later, and I still have no glasses, just email upon email from me trying to explain I paid and to make the glasses I selected. They seemed confused and returned my money, admitting they had not even started to make them. They did not offer to expedite the order, they did not offer to compensate me, they just .... left. WORST SERVICE EVER. I took the prescription and selected rimless glasses on Eye Buy Direct and was charged half the price, and the glasses will be here on June 9th. This place created a lot of stress for me, a downright mental breakdown, and I have been without decent eyeglasses for weeks. I hate this place.

I've never had anyone go to such lengths to make sure that my eyes were so comfortable and she made sure to fit me with contacts that have UV protection. I didn't even realize that I could get that type of contact. She spends a lot of time listening to what your lifestyle is so that she can make sure to fit you with the perfect pair of contacts and frame for your glasses. This is the place to go. Dr. Clegg was friendly and thorough in his examination asking me questions regarding my health and eyesight. He also dilated my eyes to check my eye health. The exam took only about 20 mins. The place was clean and tidy and he made sure to wipe down all equipment before it's use on me. I had no insurance but paid an out of pocket cost that was below the average (under $100) of other eye exams in the area. He said I had pretty good eyesight but was a little far sighted in my left eye. I'd had cataracts so my lenses were replaced in 2021 and I've been using readers (2.50) for reading. (I had never worn glasses till then.) He said I would be fine to keep using them and did not try to up sell me but gave me a prescription in case I changed my mind. Because of his honesty, integrity and low cost, I will be retuning in the future.

The next day. I went to have them readjusted because they didn't seem to be staying up on my nose . He warmed the temples up and did the best he could to make them comfortable on me....two days later I went in because they still weren't staying up on my nose. He suggested I get grips to put on the nose area to keep them from slipping down. I asked if they carried them at the store....He said no he purchased some for his own glasses on Amazon.I told him I didn't shop on Amazon. He said I could cut a Band-Aid and fit that on The nose grip area of the glasses!!!! Excuse me!?!!....I paid $450 for these glasses, I'm not about to cut a Band-Aid so that they don't fall down my nose.
