After an appointment here you can see clearly now. 5/5 Service You can book appointments online, I tried but actually had a question, called and booked over the phone with an appointment that same week. Online it only had appointments a week out. The staff is always very helpful from the front desk, to those helping with the eye tests to the Doctors. 5/5 Selection Large selection of glasses, from designer to generic brands. Glasses or shades at night. Transition to regular lenses there are options for you. 5/5 Parking They have designated spots for this location which is nice when the shopping center gets busy. Overall a pleasant experience with the staff and optometrist. Psalm 33:5, God bless

I would give Golden Optometry zero stars if I could. This is not the first time I have had an issue…read morewith this office, it has happened multiple times, and I am completely fed up. I scheduled an appointment for 4:00 PM. That is the appointment time I was given. I showed up expecting to have my exam, only to be told that I could not be seen because the doctor was no longer available and that I was supposedly required to check in by 3:40 PM. Excuse me, but WHY was the 3:40 PM check-in time not clearly provided when I made the appointment? If patients are required to arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled appointment or risk losing their appointment, that information should be clearly communicated at the time of booking. And here's the worst part: NO ONE CALLED ME. Not a courtesy call. Not a warning. Not a message saying, "Please arrive by 3:40 because the doctor will not be available after that." Nothing. I wasted my time driving there, only to be told that I couldn't be seen. And this isn't an isolated incident, it has happened several times. A medical office should respect its patients' time and communicate important scheduling requirements before the patient shows up. Instead, I was left to find out the rules only after arriving at the office. Absolutely unacceptable. If you don't want to waste your time, make an unnecessary trip, and potentially get turned away because of information they failed to communicate, I strongly suggest going somewhere else.

They also have lots of samples, and the store is always clean and nicely organized. I come here about every two weeks and always enjoy shopping here. The gas prices are good too! My only complaint is that the gas station area feels a little too small and doesn't have enough pumps compared to other Costco locations I've been to, like Monterey Park and City of Industry. It can get pretty crowded, especially during busy times. Other than that, I love this Costco!!

I usually prefer this location over the Alhambra one- the drivers here aren't as crazy lol. There are usually plenty of samples to try, which makes it easy to discover something new. The vegetable spring rolls are a favorite- crispy and convenient for dinner or feeding a crowd. The blueberry cheesecake croissant is SO good. They taste almost artisan-quality with a caramelized crust and $12.99 for 6 is such a steal. Also picked up the chargrilled chipotle seasoned chicken, which is awesome for tacos. My son who's in college loves this for meal preparation.

Making an appointment was as easy as calling the optometry and giving them information on my insurance plan (where they are able to look it up and tell you the benefits). On the day of the appointment, I recommend coming early to fill out the intake form as a new patient and bringing your existing prescribed glasses. Afterwards, I took some quick check-in test before seeing the doctor. Dr. Nguyen did my eye exams and she was wonderful! She was thorough, explained everything in an easy to understand/detailed manner, gave really practical and actionable advice, and answered all the questions I had. The front desk folks, Ben and Raul, were also amazing!! They were super friendly, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. What I most appreciated was that they explained all the benefits of my insurance and shared their recommendations on what frames and lense features to choose given my benefits. In terms of frames, they carry name brands like Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Prada, Tom Ford, etc. Plenty to choose from. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better optometry experience.
