I don't even want to give 1 star for Walmart Store #1203 on 4928 State Road 674, Wimauma, Fl. I returned an online order to them on April 6, 2022. The item was an outdoor swivel rocking chair that was defective. They accepted the return and said they would ship it back to the Marketplace seller. I have a return receipt but until the Marketplace vendor receives the return, I cant get a return. They have not shipped the item back so I cannot get a refund. The item was $569.74. I have called the Walmart store for 5 days and no answer. A Customer Service person answered two days ago. I asked to speak to a manager and she asked what the problem was. The online customer service and Marketplace vendor said I needed to find out why the store in Fl hasn't shipped the item back. The lady said Id have to call Walmart's 800# and I explained I need to find out why the item wasn't shipped back and the 800 # told me to deal with their store. She hung up on me. I have been emailing the 2nd party vendor who shipped the furniture and they said they can't refund the return since they don't have it back. I have a FEDEX Tracking Number but when I enter it, it says no return started. The Walmart.com Customer Service tried calling the Walmart store who took the return and no answer. I bought this item for my mom while visiting her in Fl. I am now back in MO or I would go to the local Walmart and find a manager. My 87 yr old mother does not drive so she cannot go to the store. I have spent hours trying to get a refund and each dept I contact says someone else will contact me. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING large that has to be put together at Walmart.com. If it is defective, you have to figure out how to ship it back. It is a nightmare! read more

I have lived in 3 states and shopped at numerous Walmart's, and I have to say that this Walmart is by far the worst I've ever visited. Overall, the store is typically in good condition, but most of their management team need to either be terminated or go through customer service training on a weekly basis. What used to amaze me, but not anymore now that I have been able to see the level of management at this location, is how they can have a line longer than a football field waiting for the self checkout, and you see all these so called management folks standing near the customer service area chatting it up, giggling and laughing, while seeing the horrific mess of customers lined up trying to check out. And the feeling this store has given me is that they do not care. Their solution to the long line issue is to add barriers so to not block other folks trying to pass through. And the young guy who is some sort of manager, he really need management 101 training on how to deal with customers. It doesn't surprise me how frontline employees there talk bad about the store and management after you've had any interaction with someone from management. read more

As I've said before, a Walmart is a Walmart. This one was very clean, free of Walmartians, fully stocked and easy to get to. I was on the hunt for some new sleeveless shirts for the summer (every day type shirts) and I lucked out here. Walked away with three new shirts for under $40. I'm happy, they look great and it didn't break the bank. As Walmarts go, this one was pretty good. read more

The one thing I hate is when the cashiers are quick to get you through the line. They ring up your things way to quickly. That's also not good when elderly people need a little bit more time than younger people. The workers seems to care about you finding things when you can find someone. I would probably shop here again. read more

Go to Target instead. Horrible experience today that solidified my hatred for this place. We bought an iPad accessory but when we got in the car an opened the box it was empty. My hubby went back inside and was told he was on camera taking it out of the box. Basically my husband was accused of shoplifting, GARBAGE, we demanded to see the video they claimed to have. After and hour no video. Manager just gave us a refund, since they had no more in stock, and apologized. read more

went to buy a calculator before a huge exam (accidentally left mine at home). they were locked up, no biggie. found a worker and asked if he had a key and he said no not today. okay alright so i walked even further and found another. she was a little annoyed and just told me to go to the fitting rooms and they would page someone over the intercom for me. they did and not a soul came. i waited a little and went back and she said someone with keys went over and nobody was down that aisle yet i was down there waiting for 5-10 min. things happen i guess so i just asked if she could try again. she reluctantly did and finally someone came with keys. i was a little late to my exam and i understand it was partially my fault but there is definitely a way to do things better in that store. Hard to find anyone to help you and they are always out of the jewelry boxes I need for my projects and when I asked the sales lady why they were always out they told me since they don't sell them often they don't order more than 3 packs ever now and then. Every time I visit walmart I go to buy them and they are always out so they must be selling them. Maybe start ordering more. The motorized carts really need to be fixed and there should be a way to make sure only people that need them use them, not lazy people who don't want to walk. read more

Waited in Express Self Checkout, once it was our turn, we (mother and I) were turned away by a short hispanic associate with a yellow vest. She said that we couldn't check out here. I asked why, she said because we had more than 20 items. I looked around, all 3 customers who went before us had more than 20 items. I pointed that out to her, and she claimed to not have seen them. I asked why aren't there any signs saying so, she said it's a new rule. This isn't the first time she has done this to me though. I walked away, and noticed she allowed others to go ahead even though they had more than 20 items. I went to management, and the gentleman said he's never heard of that rule. Her name tag was not visible, and at this point I feel as though it's something personal, as this is the second time she's done this when I've been with my mother. Had a cashier named Sandy. She was very very rude and was one of the meanest people i've met in a long time. Said to me "blue line lady" when i had accidentally gotten to close (i didn't know walmart's policies for corona). Man handled all our items and was impatient. Didn't respond when we told her thank you and to have a nice day. It's understandable that people would be frustrated during this time but we did absolutely nothing to her to warrant her attitude and rudeness. Why work at a job where you have to talk to people if you are rude to people? This is why walmart has such a bad rep. read more

Absolutely worst shopping experience ever! Line for self check out is long. Then they have cash or card or cash/card checkouts but you never know what your getting until you start checking in. Today was the worst. The attendant was useless to help me, couldn't find the barcode # in the system. Then the manager comes buy, tells her to tell me (the customer) to go get another one. WHAT! Uh no you go get it, I'm the customer here. Then that one did not ring up either. This was the worst example of of customer service I have ever experienced. I will step foot in this store never more! Horrible time over and over again. Talking to supervisors/manager and they seem clueless and got mad at me for saying something about the store. I took my car here 4 times for an oil change waited 15 minutes before someone came to talk to me and went on to tell me it's going to be hours until I can get an oil change. Meanwhile the people weren't working,laughing&talking. Not to mention there was no car even in the garage! My last straw here was taking my son to the Lego section and listening to a Walmart Employee on his cell phone stocking items on the shelf and saying curse words like f that and f this and talking about what he's going to be doing later that night. My child is 8 years old and doesn't need to be around people like this especially in a child section of the store. I would recommend going else where not worth the headaches. read more

Walmart pharmacy is very rude and no interest in being of any help. Just made the mistake of transferring my husbands prescriptions to Walmart, he just had a stroke and quadruple heart bypass surgery, therefore on many medications. I spent an hour in store trying to make sure all had been transferred, still trying to get it straight. Very disappointing!! read more

Worst Wal-Mart on east coast. ...we have traveled extensively in our rv from Maine to Florida. ...and shopped a ton of Wal-Mart stores...we live near this one...most of the staff is rude...(one nice Mexican girl in electronics) but most department people are rude and unhappy. ...management is poor and it shows.......hate shopping here, would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to Gibsonton store. The auto shop gave an estimate for an oils change, air filter change, tire rotation, and wiper blades of about 60-90 minutes. I had some shopping to do so it wasn't an issue. After 90 minutes I did my shopping, which included raw meat. I checked out and paid for my food, confident the car would be done since I gave them more time than they estimated. After waiting at the counter for ten minutes for someone to show up, Cam showed up. I asked how much longer it would be since I could see my car on the lift. He said not long, but didn't give a time. I waited another 20 minutes and asked Chester. He said they hadn't even started the tires yet and it would be another 30 minutes. At that point I told them that was unacceptable since I gave them longer than they estimated and that I needed something to do with my food. Cam suggested I cram the raw meat into the drink refrigerator. I decided to go to customer service. They were nice, professional, courteous, and accommodating. They took my cart and put it in a large walk in refrigerator. I went back to the auto shop and waited. Finally it was done. I paid for the service. There was no apology or explanation for why it took 2.5 hours. But I still had to go get my food back. All in all, a 90 minute trip took three hours. Thankfully the customer service was nice. That being said, the auto shop has lost my business for that entire store. read more

This Supercenter doesn't feel so super. It's overcrowded ALL the TIME. Busloads of people dropped off constantly, Sunday's are the worst. If you want to leave frustrated and feeling like It's always Black Friday in there this is your store. Also, the infant section is lacking. The other locations in the area have a much larger variety for baby items. I'm a Walmart shopper and hate going here. Parking...is a nightmare. I watch citizens block people all the time to get the closest spots and they will sit there forever to get that spot blocking the entire lane. Lot is always full. But there's parking in Timbuktu. However, lots of golf cart parking...not enough spots for disabled folks In my opinion. Also, is there a fee to park your Recreational Vehicle in the parking lot? It looks like a storage lot for boats, RV's etc. could save you a ton of money parking it here instead of properly storing your vehicles. Positives: grocery pick up is fast and easy. Stopped at the store on TUE, FRI and I wanted a Christmas Tree. I was told,out of stock, new ones on their way. I asked to buy display and was told NO. Went there today SUN 10/30/16 and display is gone. I spoke with BJ who said NO, I spoke with Manager Sonia after i waited 15 minutes for her in the lawn and garden cashier area. I told her that Hector had call her 3 times, she replied she was busy running the front and who also said: I was on vacation last week, so i don't what happened. This gigantic SuperWalMart was packed last Saturday afternoon, seems everyone in south Hillsborough County shops here because there's not much else. They have an extensive food section so ideal for campers heading to nearby Little Manatee River State Park or E G Simmons county park, as I saw a few RV's and campervans. It's right at the intersection of State Road 674 and US 301 and less than a mile from I-75. Their gas station was $1.81 a gallon, the lowest I had seen anywhere that day. read more

My review is regarding the deli. There is a good selection of meats and cheeses, however, most of the staff working there clearly does not want to do that job and/or if they were trained on how to cut meats and cheeses they failed their training. There are a couple of the workers I will walk away and not purchase anything at all if they are the ones going to wait on me. And, complaints do not work. You can tell a Supervisor about the situation and they say they will look into it, and thank you (if you are lucky). You come back and nothing has changed. Other than that person does everything they can to not wait on you. (Which is okay with me) Think about it, do you want your american cheese in chips or nice slices....Is the deli for looks or to sell meats and cheeses. Is the store manager held accountable? How are the numbers at that store? I bet a better run deli would make far more money! It's like nobody cares.... read more

Think twice before buying anything on a computer disc at this store. I bought a $19.95 Hoyle Card Games DVD, which would not install on my computer...suggested updating my drivers. I run a recently installed Windows 10 system, but checked anyway. My drivers all have the latest updates. I checked online and found that many others had the same problem. Took the DVD back, and was told I could not get a refund, just a new package of the identical product since I broke the seal on the one I bought. How was I to know the product was faulty without opening the package....and why would I want another copy of the same unusable software? End result, Walmart has my $20 and I have nothing. The sign at the "service" counter says Walmart will gladly refund any purchase, with or without a receipt. Pure horse pucky! read more
