I quit using this store about 4 years ago when I repeatedly waited in line for over an hour. I decided to try them again for a hard to get medication only to experience more of the same. I have currently been on the phone for 40 minutes while my phone has been picked up and put back on hold 5 times without a word being said. Now it's been ringing nonstop for over 2 minutes. This is 100% absolutely the worst place to get your pharmaceutical needs met..... first red flag is if they're for health and wellness is that they sell cigarettes?....... Second red flag is when you gotta wait a half hour in line to pick up your prescription........ and then when you call in a prescription, they fill it offsite take three days to send it there. I've been with this pharmacy for just about 4-6 months and saying that quite literally every experience with them has been utterly terrible from being on hold for over 40 minutes and hung up on the first time to four of my medications "being ready" to me arriving and none of them can even be found to my insurance not covering a medication and told my insurance is just being "too difficult" so I have to pay it out of pocket although it's affordable, my insurance has always covered every single medication, including covers this medication, but for some reason isn't doing it this time i'm not quite sure where all the issues stem from at this location, but I can tell you if you go there you are going to definitely have a problem so best of luck to you read more

Since it's inception in 1901, this iconic house hold name has been a staple for all Americans in some way. Myself being a formal employee of eleven years have always been a customer. I can't say my loyalty really holds true these days. Since there separation from the last Walgreens family member in 2012 this organization is tanking to unknown lows it's never known before. The local customer service is by far the worst, and it's increasingly getting worse with staffing shortages. There technology is a great concept but it works against them because there are so many levels of customer service and they don't communicate with one another. This leads to issues all the time, script's getting lost in central processing to miss interpretation of order request. Walgreens doesn't even make allot of their own generic substitutes anymore. They use to have their own soda brand which wasn't all that bad and when I worked there was always being sold out. Too many changes to accommodate a higher ups project and or goal and it ends up hurting the brand and the stakeholders. Where this company is foreign operated now EU it's hard to say what direction if any this will result in. I know I will avoid using them at all costs if possible. I went to pick up my prescription at 11:30pm. I drove up to the window on my scooter. The rep took my information and told me she would go get my prescription. I watched her searching and searching. She came back to the computer twice in between long intervals of searching. She never communicated to me what was going on. The third time she came back to the computer and walked off again I pressed the CALL button. The pharmacist hung it up. I drove off and left FOR GOOD. Tomorrow I will be transferring all my prescriptions out of this place. They are disorganized and inept. read more

Worst place ever. Been trying to get farxiga prescription filled for over one week. Walgreens says they have nothing from the doctor and will contact the doctor. We are down to one tablet today. Doctor has faxed over prescription 2 times. Doctor's office calls Walgreens today. I've called Walgreens 5 times this week to include 3 times today. The first time today Walgreens says they are processing the prescription. The 2nd time Walgreens puts me on hold for 13 minutes and then disconnects me. The 3rd time; Walgreens tells me to call tomorrow at 7am to see if they even have Farxiga. What? You could have told me this last week. To add insult to injury - I went to CVS today to pick up a prescription for someone else. CVS asked me if I wanted to make a donation to heart disease. I was like what? You and Walgreens are causing all the heart disease. Why is this so hard. Is there anyone competent out there? So much for our Government dealing with BIG pharma. This pharmacy is by far THE WORST pharmacy in terms of customer service and wait times to get a prescription. Months ago I told the pharmacy tech that I needed a certain drug by a specific manufacturer and to make note of it in my profile. When I placed the order over the phone via automated service, then I called to confirm that it was going to be filling with the requested manufacturer and the tech said yes, but when it arrived it wasn't. They should also be trained on giving realistic expectations on when a prescription will be ready. I had to wait three days for a prescription they said would be ready in an hour. I have been using Walgreens for years and have never encountered any issues until I had to deal with Sun City Center Walgreens. I was recently hospitalized for a mild heart attack due to undiagnosed high blood pressure. I was released from the hospital with two prescriptions. One for an antibiotic and one to control my hypertension. The antibiotic was ready within an hour. However, the hypertension medication took over 24 hours to fill. By the time I got the medication my blood pressure was dangerously high. I wish the pharmacy would have communicated what the issue was why it took so long to provide me with my life saving medication. read more

I have been getting my scripts from N. Pebble Beach pharmacy for over 8 years They do not have adequate staff, Do not answer phones, I am unable to speak to head pharmacist. During this Covid crisis, pharmacist have been mandated to give out Covid shots. There is no way that they can dispense medications and give shots at the same time. Service is below -0! Today, after waiting more than 5 days for my meds, went to pharmacy where they could not find my scripts! Go figure. I read the reviews for Sun City Center and was scared knowing I had to transfer 14 scripts here. Its been hit or miss with other walgreens as to how you get treated but having used Sun City Center for a couple months I have found previous reviews to be way off. These guys go out of their way to treat you kind and bend over backwards to accommodate any of my needs. Having 14 scripts I assure you situations come up yet every time so far they have been fantastic in working with me to resolve every need I have. Give them respect you get respect back. I am a heart patient in Sun City Center, Florida. I recently had an experience renewing my medication which is hard to believe. My cardiologist warned me last year that I must faithfully take my Xarelto, a blood thinner, or if I suddenly did not I might have a stroke and die. When my prescription ran out I spent a week chasing after the cardiologists' staff to renew. I was told to go to a specific individual, who did not return my calls (or Walgreens faxes) or help in any way. When I approached Walgreens SCC I was met with serious compassion, haste, service, including "emergency supply" and understanding on all levels. I want to expressly appreciation to all and especially female 'voice on the phone", "blonde haired lady, and pharmacist Luisa. Due to their diligence and their competent colleagues, I finally got an extension for my Xarelto prescription. Thank- you all. read more

It's a standalone Walgreens occupying a corner on a busy intersection. The store is clean with high ceilings that give an airier feel to compensate for the lack of windows. It's well stocked store, the aisles are clear, and the staff is friendly. The service has been great. While waiting to have a prescription filled, I watched how patient the pharmacist was when working with an elderly customer. As you walk the store, you can tell it is geared to the local retirement community. Interesting to realize that the adult walkers (and other supplies) are in the next aisle over from the (grand)children's beach toys. One pharmacist refused to refill my script in the middle of the night and told me I could come at 8 when a normal person comes. Unreal. I'm stuck to Walgreens as it's the nearest pharmacy that accepts my insurance. I am a patient that has several prescriptions filled monthly, because of this frequency I understand I'm more likely than most customers to experience something out of the ordinary in regards to my experience. Rarely does Walgreens pharmacy let me down. An urgent care clinic called in a prescription a little after 3 pm. I called around 4 and was told it would be ready by 430 by the automated system, not a person. I came to the store after 520 and waited in a very long line in my vehicle as I'm sick, and was attempting to self quarantine as best as possible. After waiting in the line and being served I was advised my prescription was not ready. The individual at the window muttered something about someone passing out and they are getting it ready now. He suggested I just "circle back around". Meaning I would get to wait in the line again without confidence my meds would in fact be ready when I arrive at the window again. Receiving conformation my prescription is ready only to find out it isn't is the most common occurrence when dealing with Walgreens. I was surprised he wanted me to move if they were working on it right then like he'd stated. I asked if I could wait if that were they case and he said due to the line it would be better if I came inside, skipped the line and got my prescription that way. Annoyed, I park my truck and headed inside. Inside is 7 people in line ahead of me and, hand on the Bible, no lie, a person receiving medical attention from the paramedics because she passed out waiting in this insane line. I was not "skipping the line" by coming inside and the lady was being fanned by other civilians, no one from the pharmacy was assisting her, it looked like business as usual to the company, so it didn't appear to impact productivity. I genuinely feel like the individual at the window lied to me about why my prescription was not ready AND about "skipping the line" by coming inside. He just effectively pushed me off to someone else working inside. Incredibly I was not the only person in line at that time having the same issue...a women and her husband in line before me had been told their meds were ready only to wait in the line and he told the same thing, they aren't ready but will be shorty. Everyone wants to blame everything on labor shortage or whatever... In this instance you're asking SICK PEOPLE to come into your store FOR A LONG TIME as they stand in line, and stagnantly wait. read more

This Walgreens has the WORST customer service that I have ever seen in a pharmacy!! Even their customer care center has rude employees!! I spoke with one yesterday who said his name was Ace. He certainly knew nothing, then transferred me to my local store where I had too wait another 30 mins!!! They do not answer their phones!! When you drop offf they promise it will be ready but it isn't!! Then you call && find out they haven't even put it in que yet! I live 2 blocks away.They call me evewry month telling me I have prescriptions waiting,yet when I drive there,nothing.I started going 4 months ago when my pharmacy closed because the hospital,Fletcher medical center,next to one of my docs,closed to be rebuilt.The forst month they filled one prescription from a doctor written for SIX refills on the first visit.Very expensive medications I might add.The rest were filled howqevewr I didn't opoen that bag for 7 days because I still had some left.I finally opened it and BANG,all these bottles.The next time I went I had 6 more refills,which they told me they had,but when I picked them up,thehy only had 5,despite telling me they had all 6,or I woulkd have gone elsewhere.I eventually got the other order filled at walgreens on big bend road 12 miles away AND I HAD TO WAIT AND GO BACK MAKING IT 50 miles total.Now I am com[plaining to other sources but I am a 57 year old veteran and do not appreciate being treate3d like a 20 year old junkie.I use crutches,or a cane and have been in chronic pain for many yearsdue the zsevere injuries,At times the meds are much stronger,however dilaudid and fentanyl patches are something I avoid and even the strength of my other pain medicine I cut when I am able,which I asked the doc to do last month.I can go to an online pharmact but would prefer to go here provided they treat me qwith respect,which they DO NOT NOW read more
