Tasting side by side, both were good but this was the winner with super moist meat, the right balance of everything, not too thick or thin, and great price. Looking forward to returning for their "con todo" (with everything) version. Also tried 2 empanadas, beef (just ok, standard) and chicken (very good)! Mind you, my husband and I both overall like beef empanadas better, but this chicken version killed it. Definitely going back for more. For 1 whole traditional Cuban sandwich and 2 good sized empanadas (with pico sauce included), $11 (with tax) is a dollar win as well. Friendly family service, some indoor seating, and ambiance is best described is super small bodega products to the side of their food business. Meaning, they have also a hot food bar. Looked delicious. So I think you know what the magic question's answer will be... ofc we'll be coming back! We enjoyed our Cuban sandwich, and need to return to check out that hot bar!

Do your grocery shopping for a fraction of the price…read more Okay, so here's the deal. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization that works nationwide. Through its host sites (generally participating churches across the country), it supplies groceries at an unbelievable price. Angel Food Ministries is a non-denominational organization and it's been around for almost 20 years helping communities across the U.S. afford groceries. It sells groceries in boxes for about $30 and you can add to your order by selecting additional specialty boxes. I've used this service in the past and the food is actually really good. My husband and I weren't sure what the quality would be like, but we were impressed. AFM might have the best pork chops I've had yet and the amount of food we got was crazy. If you're on the fence and not sure about trying this service, just go to the website. The menu changes every month and you won't believe how much food you can get for just $30! It's a great service as it really helps those who are struggling financially, but anyone can participate. There are only certain dates when you can order and when you can pick up your food, so around the first of the month is when to check the main site for more information. Go to www.angelfoodministries.com to find a local host site near you. Also, any boxes that are not picked up by a certain time on the pick-up date are donated to needy families in the community, so even if you oversleep one Saturday morning, at least you'll be helping out someone in need. Just give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

As a busy nurse with a tight schedule, I have no time to work, and eating healthy can be a challenge. Luckily, Fitlife Foods has me covered, and I actually really enjoy these meals, so it makes getting through my shifts so much easier. Their breakfasts are a nice little treat for me. I have them on Sunday for a little Sunday brunch without leaving home--and on my first day at work, too! Lately my faves for dinner have been their Cacio e Pepe for dinner (I tend to doctor up some of the pasta with my own touch--broccoli microgreens for an extra splash of nutrition and color, so now my veggies are covered) pasta ala vodka. But it's their DESSERT game that really has me taking notice. I've loved their pumpkin cheesecake for years, and just when I thought nothing can top it--I WAS WRONG. Their new raspberry cheesecake has actually dethroned it. Creamy, rich, with just the right amount of tart from the raspberry atop a chocolate cookie crust, just like their pumpkin cheesecake, its a taste of decadence that's fit to have any time without the guilt. But as good as it is, I don't think I'd want to eat the other cheesecakes now, anyway.
