CVS , has made major improvements in the most critical areas the app works great, and is easy to use, because I am not Tech savvy. The info on the app is accurate and up-to-date. The pharmacist in store are very nice. And if you need to talk to a person when you call, a real live person will call you back in less than an hour, usually around 15 minutes. I know they have to be crazy busy, after Winn-Dixie closed all their pharmacies and CVS thankfully took on all us Winn-Dixie Rx refugees. It would not have been fun for all those people to try to find a new pharmacy on their own. But CVS is doing a great job. Drive-through can be a long wait sometimes, but I've also been through the drive-through in less than five minutes. So that really just depends on the luck of your timing. read more

Make them count your pills in front of you before you leave. They will short you, and then lie. I paid $150 for 90 pills and only got 81. They showed me an image of 89 pills and only gave me 1. Even though the bottle that had just been opened only had 81in it. It's an rx I take for cancer symptoms. This pharmacy will straight up steal from people with cancer and lie about it. read more

The pharmacy is so slow. Demand has picked up and they are not prepared to handle the volume. Understaffed and overwhelmed. The people seem nice enough but when they are overwhelmed, temperaments, attitude, and friendliness goes down along with the capacity to process orders timely. Long lines both inside and outside in the drive through are common. Today, I was in the drive through for 33 minutes. Picking up a single prescription which was ready took over 10 minutes at the window. I would rather drive 15 minutes further to get quicker and more friendly service. read more

No one offers to help you unless you excuse yourself, and prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. My dr called in an urgent script for kidney stones yesterday, only to be told by the tech it would not be ready until the morning. We went back, in excruciating pain, to be told it wasn't ready and we'd need to come back. They would not even let us wait. Changing pharmacies as soon as possible. read more

Worst customer service ever. After 4 calls and 40 minutes on hold, I'm finally told my prescription will be ready in a few hours. Never received a text saying it was ready and because it needed to be taken TODAY, I decided to drive by there 15 minutes before closing. My husband and I stopped in after we dropped a bunch of junk off at the dump and my Husband remarked that the dump was cleaner than the parking lot and was I sure I wanted to go in there ?! The parking lot was COVERED with garbage like someone dumped out a bunch of cans . The manager should be reprimanded for running such a filthy store front!!! This CVS is easy to find but hard to get to if you're coming from the other side of the street. Would be nice if they were 24/7, but they are not. The staff greets you as you walk inside, and are helpful if you need to find something. be sure to use your phone number linked to your rewards card to save some money on certain items. We've been here many times, but this trip we needed some medical supplies, and we found everything we needed. So all went well. read more

This has to be the most incompetent pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The first time I filled my scripts here all went well and supposedly I got put on auto refills. The last 2 times I've had to fight and make multiple trips to finally pick up my meds. This last time I've stopped in 3 days in a row only to find out they didn't fill I script again. To add insult to injury when I asked if it would be ready the next day all I got was attitude without even an apology for making me come back again. Went to this location on 12/5 for Covid testing, 5 days later and still no results! Worse, the people at this location put me on hold, then hung up on me. All I want to know is what is the CURRENT wait time for results at your location? 1st answer was 3-4 days and I've been waiting 5 days??? at what point do I assume you lost it and go somewhere else for a test. Again the pharmacy has failed, after calling a script into their automated physicians line they do not have a record of it and I once again had to call the doctor & manager and he barely acknowledges the problem. They could care less and they also have a habit of taking scripts that aren't in stock and on back order but not telling customers. read more

This pharmacy is horrible, I dropped a prescription off 2.5h before they closed and I was told to come back the next day. The following day I returned in the evening, waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told that it wasn't ready and to wait 30 more minutes. Nobody should have to wait that long for a prescription that has been ordered. read more

The pharmacy is not organized or efficient, which is what gives you trust in an establishment dispensing medications. There is zero interest in helping people get medications when there is an insurance issue or communicating problems. I had to go back 4 times to get eye drops, because insurance said it was too early to renew. Even after doctor's office told them it was okay, they kept saying "no", finally figured out they would give it to me self pay, but was never given that option. I had to bring it up, and then magically, the insurance paid. Don't call unless you want to be on hold 30 minutes or more. Very frustrating. Upsetting to think this goes on whe people need their medications. Agree with previous reviews regarding dirty, messy parking lot. I told them several times the drive- thru windows are filthy with spider webs everywhere. Cleaning is not a priority, which again does not inspire trust, especially when that is where they do the covid testing. read more

This is our local CVS store in Apollo Beach that is very close to where we live. I have to say that the staff has always been extremely helpful even though they appear to be overwhelmed with the sheer volume of business they do. Yesterday we did COVID PCR tests through the drive through. They are required to be completed within 2 days of our upcoming cruise. We received the results almost exactly 24 hours after they were submitted. We appreciate their prompt service. read more

His Silver Script plan requires CVS to fill however, wet physically tool list of script to them 2x and they never filled! It was over a week before we finally got them filled! CVS cheated me out of 30% of my earned BUCKS which should be treated as cash. Check your receipts. I had a 30% coupon off my purchase and paid partially with my $7 BUCKS, which is cash. I was cheated out of $2.10 of my BUCKS reward because 30% was taken off my BUCKS also. However, if you use your earned BUCKS on a purchase with no discount, I would have received the $7 off. I think that is very sneaky and cheats the loyal customer out of their earned cash reward. Check your receipt or only use BUCKS with no other discounts. Of course no one informs you of that and the people who work there had a blank stare when I said $7 was not taken off. I spoke to the Manager, Tina and she said that's the way their computer does it. I just want to say that I have been coming to this CVS pharmacy on Apollo Beach Fl for a long time as well as my entire family and my fiancé's family. And this was the last EVER.,, I didn't know that when you leave the hospital you actually have to call and make sure they fill the prescription it's not something that they automatically fill. So I get there and they tell me sorry you didn't call in your prescription well I didn't know that I had to. I thought that was the hospitals job then I proceeded to try and check out for them to tell me one of them is not even in stock but maybe in a bin but couldn't open the bin right now. OK so can I have the prescription to take it somewhere else no I'm sorry the hospital sent in the prescription so you have to call around and see who has it in stock and then have it faxed over. This is a bunch of BS for someone to have to deal with straight out of the hospital. The wanna be pharmacist Sam is the worst pharmacist in CVS history and I have been coming to CVS for a long time as a matter of fact my mother-in-law is a pharmacist at a different CVS location so I have nothing but the upmost respect for CVS in till this man (SAM) ruined it for me never again.. I promise you my family will not be coming to your place of business ever again either. And by the way the grocery store pharmacies are way cheaper for out-of-pocket customers. Store employees should be able to be rated differently from the pharmacy. Very seldom are prescriptions filled without hassle. Had a dr write for a liquid carafete that costs 500 after insurance, and the pharmacist told my husband "that's just what it is" never mentioning that the pill form is extremely cheap and costs less than 10. My husband was of course very worried because I had been released from 3 days in hospital for a GI bleed so he didn't know any better and paid for it. Of course they would then not accept it back. I literally could have used tums, and the pharmacist told me "it's not my job to tell people things like that" (meaning that a much cheaper form of the medication existed). read more

Recently the customer service has greatly improved but I am not using their pharmacy service so my review isn't exactly comparing apples to apples or drugs to drugs . EVERY TIME i have a prescription sent here there is ALWAYS an issue, they either don't "receive" it or they key in the wrong pick up time.. I have even had them call me and tell me script is ready and when i get there they say they don't have it done. I am so over this place, i keep giving them chances because they have evening hours and a drive thru but I am done. Publix never gives us this problem and they fill your prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time. read more
