Had to run into this Walmart on vacation. Seemed pretty average for a Walmart. The item we needed was in stock. Gentlemen who helped us in the electronics section was friendly. Used self checkout. Someone previously mentioned wishing they had an item limit for self checkout and we will report that there is a sign limiting self checkout to 15 items or less. I chose Webster thinking location meant better products, stocked store. Boy was I wrong! I never shop at Walmart for food, especially produce! Quality always sub par, unrecognizable brand names, no prices, very low stock, or completely out. Environment so depressin! I normally shop online. Plus their prices are the same or more than Wegmans. However, they do carry a variety of brands you can't get elsewhere. Various olive oil, meatless products like Daring brand. Today, I left the store without a minimum of 6-7 items they were out of. That would never happen at Wegmans. cashier was rude young guy. I felt bad that I gave Walmart $150! Never again. I will continue to shop at Wegmans. They cannot be beat. read more

Do not use this Walmart for grocery pick up. I just moved back to the area after living in Florida and I used Walmart pick up all the time in a very heavy populated city with no issues. EVER. I move to Webster and expect the service and speediness to be even better given the size of the town. WRONG! I'm now on my third delivery and nothing ever goes right. This time the order was scheduled for 8pm pick up. Ended up getting delayed with no update to the app or to advise me when it will be ready. I call customer service to check about what is going on. They can't help. They say show up it'll be ready by 10pm. I show up. I go inside. I'm directed to a manager who tells me it's a different department so she can't help me. She radios and said oh they probably have all gone home. I'm very frustrated. I call customer service back. They say it's delayed (I know). They can't do anything. They just tell me it'll eventually update and I need to inconvenience myself to what time they provide me or else I can cancel my order. I go home, go to bed and then wake up to a text at 7am that it is ready. I promptly get ready and show up, even though I am now late for work and I cannot believe what I see. 15. 15 cars at 8am waiting for grocery delivery. One girl running orders to cars and more people pulling in. This is a Wednesday morning. Not near a holiday. Not near a nice long weekend. A regular old Wednesday in the middle of the month. I give this place between 3.5-4 stars.. why... ok I've been to other locations and they especially the Henrettia location it's looking junky. The walmart in Webster is way worse than others. My self and others waited in the self checkout line for 15 minutes because there were 4 checkouts out of order. When I finally got to one of the checkouts, the scanner glass was so filthy that it couldnt read the bar code. I pointed that out and all I got was a dumbfounded look from the 2 attendants. The isles were a mess, product knocked onto the floors etc. Felt like I was in a third world country. read more

At 6:00pm Friday attempted to pick up an on-line order but was told I had to wait until Saturday after 11:00am but they would save it for 4 days. At 9:45pm that same Friday I received a text stating my order was canceled because I didn't pick it up!?! WAIT! WHAT??? You're canceling an order because it didn't get picked up after you said it couldn't get picked up?? UNACCEPTABLE !!!!! read more

I live in Irondequoit, I don't dare set foot in the ghetto trash Wal-Mart they have here so I usually like to head East to Webster. But Im finding as the time goes by this Webster location is getting worse and worse. I feel like no one applies for jobs at Walmart, they send scouts out to find the most miserable and lazy people and hire them on the spot. I have to look at employees who don't know how to wear a belt so their ass is hanging out, I have to over hear cashiers talking about how they don't want to be there. It's practically 2020 you should be happy to have a job and an easy one at that. Smiles are more rare there then a Charizard card was back in 2001. It's sad to know I have to travel to Henrietta now to avoid this trashier by the day location. To each is own and some people may love this place ... but I am assuming the people who love it are the ones making it worse. read more

Did curbside pick pull in there is 1 car girl is there putting groceries in it. I get voicemail when I call 5 minutes later another car pulls in someone else brings there stuff. Another car pulls up she gets her stuff. I now like an idiot have sat here for 15 minutes. Stop the girl who says we don't check voicemail. You saw me seating here but ignore the voice. Has now been 30 minutes, 7 people have now gotten groceries and still waiting she did take my name. And only reason I was here isto get propel water which they are out of! Added note. My dad went in for a Vision Center appointment on a Wednesday. Person who did his appointment said she had to call the insurance company and would call me back. Didn't hear from her in 5 days and called to follow up. Other woman on the phone was extremely curt and discourteous. Wanted me to call back because she had no information. Really?? It's a system where only one person has info?! She wanted to get off the phone immediately. So I gotta call YOUR business to have you do YOUR job so I can give you MY money? I have many issues with this current Walmart. The first being the unnecessary high temperature. As I walked the isles my butt cheeks became moist and rubbed together leaving me with an utterly intense ass well ass painful chafe. The unorganized setup of the store was discombobulating. I walked in to buy oranges and a bicycle but, I quickly found myself in the children's section with twelve pairs of boys underwear in my cart. After purchasing those items I returned to my home. I began to try on the underwear, viciously yanking them up my thighs. When I got them on however the became stuck. I was unable to walk to find scissors so I had to use my mobile phone to call the authorities to free me. This is why I am giving this Walmart 2 stars read more

I am disgusted with this store and their quality of produce. All of the fresh produce in this store is of marginal quality. The bananas come in green and bruised. By the time they are ripe, they are so bruised that they are inedible The melons in this store are also inedible and a waste of money. I had to throw the two out that I bought on two separate occasions. I actually went as far as letting the second one sit in the house for about six days before I cut it open. I ended up with the same results. It was like it had not ripened or it had been frozen at one point and then thawed. I continue to shop at this store and I have addressed this situation with the produce staff who had no answers for me. It took me about two weeks of shopping here almost every day before I finally ran into the store manager on the floor. My short and abrupt conversation with the manager in charge of this store left me with the impression that Walmart could care less about the quality of the produce that they sell. I told this rude man that I will send a letter to the corporate offices about my concerns. His reply was good luck. All that they will do is send your letter to me and tell me to handle it. I was so upset by the way that this man addressed my concern that I called the main office in Arkansas three days ago and have heard nothing back from them. I wonder how long this store will continue to operate and to compete with the two other major grocery stores that are right across the street and up the street within a mile? The rest of the produce that they sell here is marginal in areas as well. It is a constant battle of trying to get what you need here in the grocery section because they don't keep enough of their grocery items stocked on the shelves. There is almost always something that I need that they do not have in stock in the grocery area. I do enjoy shopping here because the prices are much better than my other two options and I like the staff that work here for the most part. I do not buy very much produce here because of the quality and I end up going across the street for produce that is far superior to anything that this Walmart sells. It's a darn shame that Walmart has no commitment to selling quality produce to their customers. I give the grocery department in this store two unacceptable Yelp stars and I won't be going here much longer if I have another run in with the rude store manager here. It isn't worth it to spend money at a place where the management could care less about the customer. read more

How much longer will it take Walmart to take a hint from Wegmans and staff their registers with adequate people to ensure the customer can get out of the store quickly? There is a Wegmans literally right across the street...they can't go there and learn what efficient check-outs are all about? They have NEVER dealt with this problem properly. After all these years in business one would think they'd make the effort. When a customer is done shopping, all they want to do is exit the establishment as quickly as possible so they can get home. I fail to see why Walmart refuses to grasp this concept. They have made a small improvement with their check out speeds over the past ten years, but it is minimal and negligible. I am not being critical of the employees, it is not their fault. I am blaming corporate for something that has never been properly dealt with, while having a shining example to learn from locally that they could then apply on a national basis. If one reason people dread going to walmart is because they know the check line is a slow one due to being under-staffed, why wouldn't walmart take the flippin hint and change what amounts to a lousy customer experience. We go in to save money, but if we prefer to avoid it, how is that conducive to thriving sales? read more

PHARMACY - You take your life and your pet's hands using them. Rude, incompetent, lack of ownership, attempts to rip you off. I've tried to use them before. Every monthly medicine was made by a different maker so results were not the same. Employee when questioned said they price shop. My MD, said "stay far away." Each time, I used "GoodRx" and EACH TIME Walmart charged at least double the cost of the GoodRx coupon. I returned to my regular pharmacy for myself and consistent medication. No further problems. No one at Walmart would honor the "GoodRx" coupon and I was already taking a generic. Cut to today. Dog needs meds, $210 for 30 pills, 250mg. GoodRx, $105.89, same amount/doseage, for Walmart. I call Walmart RX to confirm and after two hours of them first denying they will honor it, they then say they will fill the script they got from my vet for $346.55. I told them they had a contract with GroupRx and they didn't care. I called GoodRx who called them for not honoring the price. Walmart calls me back and tells me, in front of a witness, that GoodRx never called. Another lie. Erica at Walmart proceeds to not apologize for being wrong, threatens to hang up when I lose my temper. Why did I lose my temper? They were engaged in fraud with Good Rx. This would have been the 3d time I walked in with a coupon they didn't honor the price they agreed to with that company. Now they wanted to charge me $250 MORE. To honor the GoodRx, they would "use a different medication from different company." That is when I got mad. I don't use GoodRx for compromised meds but to save money. Dogs cannot have artificial coloring or anything Xyltol. I didn't know if the coating was safe for my dog and she refused to call me vet. My client listening was appalled as I tried to talk and Erica talked over me and told me to go elsewhere if I didn't like it. I'm trying to explain she is not letting me finish and I need to know the meds are safe. Instead because consistently unprofessional, she hung up on me. GoodRx just happened to call me back. Alice over there, she was great, said Erica would "honor the coupon but she needed to substitute the medicine with a different coating. Regardless, they will not fill my prescription." Alice understand my anger. I know Walmart was made because I told Erica I WOULD call GoodRx saying they had not called her, that she was compromising the medicine, not honoring Good Rx prices, and was essentially guilty of fraud by their actions. Erica refused me services. Alice will turn all the tapes of our conversation to upper management. DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART. Their meds are shopping for best prices, not consistently made, won't honor prices with GoodRx. I was on the phone more than two hours with Walmart to try to resolve this before losing my temper. I watch people lose their temper over their all the time. IF YOU WANT TO LIVE, do not go to Walmart Pharmacy. If you want respect and efficiency, do not go. If you want integrity, DO NOT ever consider going. read more

A nice place to buy any non-grocery items. They have quality clothes at rock-bottom prices. Sure, they aren't name brand clothes, but I'm a girl who appreciates a bargain. They have a huge selection of women's clothing, as well as a decent lingerie department. It's nothing too fancy, but if you just need a sweatshirt and a pair of socks, this is the place to go. People criticize it for having few groceries, but it isn't a grocery store. I expect them turning into a Super Center soon, but I'm not sure. Still, a great place filled with everything I'm going to need when I go to college, and it will let me save a few bucks for coffee. read more

One star is being nice if it were up to me it would be 0 stars. I ordered a table for pick up and paid for it then got told the table "accidentally" got picked up by someone else. How does that happen? Why didn't they ask for ID? Then when I asked for a refund seeming I didn't get the table that I paid for the manager was extremely rude and even hung up on me!! Then my mom proceeded to call and the manager hung up on my mother too!! What kind of "manager" is so rude and horrible when clearly it was their fault that this happened!?!? I was on customer service getting put on hold and forwarded to other people for over 2 hours just to have them put in the refund. Then today I see they refunded the cheapest thing I bought there and not the table! I had to call once again and was told that they put the request in but the manager must have not refunded the right thing even though they specified the table was what needed to be refunded. Finally got ahold of someone helpful who had to overrule the managers decisions and finally put my refund in. Now I have to wait 5 business days! So sick of waiting For MY money when it was clearly their mistake that led to me not getting my table. By far the worst experience I've ever had and will never shop here again. read more
