God forbid someone wants to purchase a firearm because multi-tasking is a foreign concept. If you've got a couple people just wanting to pick up ammo, that should be a no-brainer, get those folks serviced quickly, especially when you know the firearm purchase application takes 30+ minutes to complete. That place is going to last about as long as every other place that was in that location before it.

The owner never replied to any communication from the State's Attorney's office. The recommendation is for ANYONE who has been a victim of fraud from this business to file a complaint so the State can gather enough evidence to investigate. Filing a small claims lawsuit is not possible due to it being her word against mine regarding what items actually sold. Given the complaints from the Facebook page (she conveniently removed) and the others who have reached out via FB messanger this store contiunes to steal from consignors.

I have had two bad experiences with Big Lots since April 2024…read more 1. I bought a patio rug online and of course paid for it. When I got to the store to pick it up the manager instructed me to pay again at the counter. I explained I had already paid but he insisted. Said their system was down. I inserted my credit card and paid again. When I was at the store yesterday I asked to speak to the store manager regarding another issue and an assistant came up front instead and didnt know anything about my issue so I proceeded to request the store manager once again and once again he sent his assistant. His assistant said he was busy. Too busy to speak to a customer??? So my issue yesterday was that I purchased a mattress on 7/6/2024 at 1:45 pm during the store 1 day sale of 30% off. When I purchased this mattress I was told that for every $100 I spent I would receive a $10 coupon. I did receive a coupon for $20 off of $40! I was not told that I had to spend additional money to receive my coupon earned. I ended up having to walk over to the store manager myself to speak to him. I asked him why he didn't come speak to me initially and his response was he was busy trying to get back $1100 that he didn't have. Poor customer service? As I was speaking to him I brought up the issue about the rug and I would be safe in saying he was the store manager that helped me but of course he knew nothing about it. He went on to tell me that any purchase made online does NOT reflect in the store! What???? My suggestion is that the employees be trained and get a new Store Manager! I also noticed on my last two receipts dated 7/6/24, that Big Lots wants me to take a customer survey for a chance to win $1000. It goes on to say the sweepstakes ended on 6/22/24. I like the wide aisles that have plenty of room to pass other shoppers without invading personal space. The store clerks are very friendly and helpful. One lady in particular, whose name is Cindy is an exceptional worker in the cashier lane. This lady made me aware of the discounts offered and coupons that are emailed to me monthly. I never had a cashier that let me in on the perks like Cindy. The other clerk that has been at Big Lots for several years is Joy; she knows her stuff. I go for her lane when it's not Cindy's day. I try to go through Cindy's lane when I have my Japanese aunt with me. She said she never had a store clerk that she understood. The furniture department is pretty quiet and peaceful. I tested out their mattress selection one day and fell asleep only to wake up to nobody knowing I had nodded off. I like the fact that the employees mind their own business and don't stalk and follow me around like I'm going to cause shenanigans or something. The layout is efficient, and assistance needed is minimal. Good place to get gifts or "a little something" to share with a friend. Overall, I think the shopping experience is stress free, and get in and out easily.. UNLESS it is SALE day! Go either early or late because all the grumpy women seem to shop on that day. I stop at the liquor store next door to fill up my mug, or Brass Key before shopping when it is SALE day. The whole routine is much better.

I went in on a Sunday afternoon. It was my first time at their new location. The intention for my…read morevisit was to peruse the chainsaws and see what they offered. As I was walking down one of the bigger main aisles, there was a younger man named Jake that was putting merchandise onto shelves from a pallet. He asked if he could help me - really impressed me that someone would go out of their way to offer help when he was focused on a specific task already. I told him I had researched the chainsaw I wanted and he led me to the correct aisle. It turned out they had the model I wanted on the shelf out of the box as a demo. Now I hadn't used a chainsaw in over 15 years so I had some questions. This man walked me through the entire process from explaining the components of the saw, the different options for fuel and chain oil and other accessories. He even went so far as to show me how to put a chain on the saw and how to tension it correctly so that I would be safe while operation the saw. He did this because I placed an order for a new one instead of the demo and he knew that the chain would not be on bar - it would have to be installed by someone. He had extensive knowledge of the brand and even demonstrated knowledge of how a combustion engine works. He took the time to explain the maintenance it would require and demonstrated how to perform such tasks. He may have been late getting his merchandise put away because of his interaction with me but employees like this are the reason I will return to this store. Outstanding attention to detail and willingness to help are what this man offered as an employee to me. I felt as if he was building Farm and Fleet up to a standard of excellence and not down to the price of a product. UFS, is located in an older area of Peoria and includes 2 different buildings located across the street from one another. One building houses furniture and the other building carries all of the other general retail and house ware items. You wouldn't expect a store like this to have an outstanding beer selection, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of beer that they carry. Even more surprising is their low prices. They undercut prices from other beer retailers by at least $1.00 per six pack of craft beer. I picked up several 6 packs that I'd never seen before and took them back to Tennessee with me. I'll definitely be returning during my next visit to the Peoria area. On a side note: they often have beer tastings here. During our visit, they were giving out free samples of Bridgeport beer. Check your local listings for details.

The store has definitely changed since the last time I was here, I love how there's so many different varieties of household items in the store and for pretty decent prices too. You could definitely spend some time here looking around to see what kind of products they have. The furniture was definitely nice, it was the first time I'd ever seen a sherpa couch, I loved it! Walking in, I could immediately tell I was going to be treated like royalty. I was there during the Junction City Christmas walk and thought I wouldn't be getting much attention because they were so busy! On the contrary, I was greeted at the front door with smiles and a Preckshot water bottle to boot! I am a health and wellness fanatic and thought that I would ask a few questions to some of the employees to see the types of answers I would get. The employees were educated on each type of product that they sold, and if one was not able to answer me, they spoke to someone within their shop that would be able to answer me! I knew my questions may have been complex, but I was quite impressed with their responses! Something I noted was that they had items to purchase for literally anyone you could think of! (Baby, mom, dad, and the pets in the family!) I also was fortunate to get a tour around the new facility. Let me tell you- BIG.THINGS.HAPPENING. I cannot wait to see the types of educational events/sessions that will be held in the area thanks to Preckshot. Their technology is top notch and from what I know, one of the few in the country that has this type of science. I spoke with the owner of the Preckshot. Her passion was definitely apparent as she told me the story of how she got to where she is. Overall, awesome experience! I cannot wait for the completion of the laboratory and the entire shop to see what amazing things this will bring to the central Illinois region. Thank you Preckshot! I will be back.
