I placed a grocery pickup order for 3-4pm. At 3pm I received a message that the order was delayed, which i understand happens occasionally. At 4pm there was still no update on my order, and we had a family birthday to go to at 4:30p. Because of this I rescheduled to the 8-9pm time slot. We got there at 8pm and sat for 20 minutes. Finally I called the number on the sign and was informed that someone would be out in 15 minutes. No one ever came, I called again and they said my order hadn't even been started because they are short staffed. I asked for the manager, who also just said "we are short staffed" and hung up. Awful communication and customer service. They had 8 hours to pick my order, which should have been an ample amount of time. read more

I do most of my shopping at the Walmart Supercenter in Washington, Illinois. I have to admit that I have had a few not so good experiences there, but for the most part I have pretty experiences. Most of the employees are pleasant and helpful. On February 10, 2025 I had to return A toy that my wife ordered online, when it was delivered it was missing some parts. No big deal as I had to go to the store the next day. I took the toy to the customer service desk and Jerrica behind the counter since I was going to just get another one she would issue me a gift card as my refund. I said whatever is easiest. I asked where I could find the toy she looked it up told me it's location. I went back to toy department to get it but could not find it. I looked down the entire aisle but could not find it. I also checked the aisles on both sides of the one it was supposed to be on, nothing. I went back up to the service desk to ask if it was maybe out of stock. Jerrica had gone to help one of the checkout clerks, so I asked the other woman that was there if see she look to see if they had any of them in stock? She looked it up and said there was 13 in stock. I said I could not find them anywhere, so she went and got Jerrica to go back with me to see if she could find the toy for me. We got back in the toy department and she went right to the spot that it was suppose to be she said the toy that was there definitely not the one I was looking for. She went and got a ladder and checked on the top shelf it wasn't there either. she then took the time to check the other aisles also and then said she was going to back to check the stock room. she came apologizing because she couldn't find it anywhere. I told that was ok as my wife could check later to find one. I truly appreciate the time and effort that Jerrica put towards trying to find what I wanted. no one in deli cooks but a few things, so many times I tried to get fried chicken and they were rude and had excuses that they didn't make it and the auto shop ran out of oil for my appointment and I had to come back another day these people just act like they don't care, Washington is a nice area I expected better. read more

I am tired of going into this Walmart and never finding what I have gone in there for in the past. Example: I have been buying a specific brand of peanut butter, chunky that is, for at least a year now, several times I go in, they are out, they only have the creamy, so I go back the next week and the next week and the next week, still no chunky and only like two jars of the creamy left. So I ask at customer service if this is something they're going to discontinue, she supposedly goes and checks and says no it's something they just haven't stocked yet. Well I told her the situation I've been here 6 weeks now and not once have you had it in stock so how long does it take for an employee to stock a Shelf with a product that you supposedly order. And this happens with lots of products that I had purchased regularly and then it takes months to find it again, if you can even find it again. read more

One of the cleanest Wally Worlds I've ever been too. Good service and a very friendly. Not an abundance of Hoverounds decorated with NASCAR and Pro-Tea Party stickers. Though, I know they're here. Hiding, silently, hovering aisle to aisle. Apparently the Fiancé was pleased to announced he worked here as a kid, and the girl who stood him up STILL worked here. Aside from that awkward interaction this Wal-Mart is surprisingly in great shape for being as old as it is. Shelves were fully stocked and staff was very attentive. I wish this were the Wal-Mart in my town! read more

This store is so utterly mismanaged - bays are always completely emtpy and I don't mean just once or twice.. I'm talking consecutive times this is a CONSISTENT issue. An entire vegetable section CLEARED OUT and this is at all times of the day and night. Normally you can find a curmudgeony walmart worker stocking things that are out of stock in any given isle - they'll even give you a nasty look for trying to impede their work but not at this walmart. Loads of stuff runs out and STAYS run out. read more

This review pertains to the so-called auto center. I took my wife's car in for an oil change, and they put the wrong oil in the car. Fortunately, I noticed it before I had driven out of the lot, so I kicked up a stink to get them to give me a refund so that I could have her oil changed by people who knew what they were doing, namely Uftring Chevy. In addition, they got her car done faster than Squalor-Mart and for only 10 cents more. If their people don't know something so simple as what weight of oil to put in a car they should shut their auto center down. Granted, I should have known better than to take her car to Squalor-Mart. At least Ashley, an assistant manager, processed a refund for the oil change quickly and at least apologized. Two hours of my life down the drain due to their stupidity. read more

I went to pick up my groceries yesterday and had to wait 45 minutes after waiting 5 day's for a slot to open up. The young lady was so helpful even though all their handheld devices would not accept payment she went the extra mile to take my card inside for me and returned with my groceries. I had ordered toilet paper with my groceries and received an email before leaving my house that toilet paper was again out of stock. During my wait I saw a lady walking out with toilet paper in her cart. Granted, not the brand I'd ordered but I had checked the box for substitutions in my order. Two weeks earlier they had no problem substituting wheat bread for the white I had ordered or regular cough drops for the sugar free I had ordered. I have copd, diabetes, a heart condition so I will be risking my life to go in the store to buy TP. After getting home I went back on the Walmart website and it showed toilet paper back in stock. This is truly maddening. Oh, the order two weeks earlier they lost completely after I drove there. When I drove back home they called and said they found it at 8:00 pm. They said I could come the next day to pick it up. I told them I had several appointments and it would be late and she said no problem they were open till 7:00. At 6:40 pm I received an email saying they'd canceled my order. You can't blame all this on covid19. read more

This Walmart is the best Walmart in the Peoria area, its newer and cleaner than the rest. Some idiot cashier told me I couldn't purchase alcohol because my 16 year old and 20 year old daughters were present. So she made them stand in a different line and then rang the alcohol up.
