While checking out with a pretty pricey prescription I asked the cashier the price of an over the counter nasal spray. I've never been there previously so to my own fault I did not see the white price tag on the top of the box. Instead of telling me kindly where it was located or the price the box was shoved in my face and I was told "it's right here". Never again! This is supposed to be one of the more professional establishments but I'm happy to make a considerable drive than to deal with young unprofessionals who have zero curiosity or customer relations. They sell drugs other pharmacies will not divulge in and the medications they sell are perfectly legal. I am so sick and tired of this jab scare and plandemic. The fact of the matter is there are drugs that do help people get over this C stuff without going to the hospital and dying without your loved ones around or dying from a bad drug. If I could give zero stars I would. My insurance directed me to Preckshot and when I called and inquired I got a huge speech on how they are the only compounding pharmacy in Central IL, etc and they were giving me a really big discount on a cotton seed oil base prescription, etc. I was given a form to send to insurance since they do not bill directly- bad move! (The insurance was supposed to cover it but never would because preckshot apparently didn't code it correctly or whatever) So i paid $188 (3x) and that didn't include the needles. I begged my insurance for help to get this medicine so they directed me to a local (compounding- what?!?) pharmacy and my copay was $4 and that included the needles!!! They even billed my insurance! I felt scammed by Preckshot, so best advice is to call around and get quotes and take nobody's word for it, they aren't looking out for you. read more

My physician phoned in a prescription to the pharmacy. When I went in, the pharmacy technician gave me my medication and a free sample of an anti inflammatory supplement for pain. Since I have a heart condition that can be aggravated by different substances and medications, I asked her if the supplement was safe for heart patients. She responded by telling me that it would be fine to take because it was herbal and natural. That was inaccurate and disturbing because some natural ingredients can still irritate heart conditions. Knowing she was not giving me sound medical advice, I asked to speak with a pharmacist, thinking I could get the best information from him or her. The technician told me that a pharmacist was unavailable, but that one would automatically contact me within the week because I was a new customer. I never heard from that pharmacist. I've since done some local comparative shopping on compound medications and have discovered that Preckshot's is more costly than their competitors. If the service was high quality, I wouldn't mind spending the extra money. I was very disappointed with this pharmacy and had the sense that my business wasn't important to them. read more

Can't rate product because I am still waiting for my Thyroid meds and they can't even guarantee that I will have them after 4 days of having the perscription. Our old cat, Gus, needed a compounded medication that the vet wasn't able to provide. Preckshot quickly put together his prescription, and the young man at the desk had helpful suggestions as to how to give him the med. (Easier in theory, than practice!) Unfortunately, I only was able to give him 3 mg out of the 60 mg ($60) bottle before he died 2 days later, but I feel good that I tried all I could. I appreciated them helping me do that. read more

I was prescribed a compounding cream and I called Preckshot a couple hours later to confirm that the doctor's office had sent my prescription to them. The woman who I spoke with was very nice and she told me that yes, they received it, it was back in the lab being worked on. She assured me that they would call me when it was ready (but didn't specify a time frame and I didn't think to ask. Frankly, she made it seem like it would be later that day). I asked about my insurance covering it, she said probably not, told me that even if it did, it usually ends up being more expensive than just paying out of pocket. I didn't think that made any sense, but I planned to have them run it through my insurance when I picked it up. I waited 24 hours to call back to see when I could pick it up, honestly figuring they just forgot to call me when it was ready. The woman I spoke to this time brushed me off, saying don't worry, we'll call you when it's ready. I said can't you tell me when that will be? My prescription wasn't a life or death medicine, but I've never had a pharmacy take more than a day or not tell me approximately when I could expect it to be filled! She said it's back in the lab, I told her that's what I was told 24 hours ago. She sighed and put me on hold, came back and told me it's at least 48 hours like I was already told. I was never told it was at least 48 hours, why would I be calling them if I had known that? She kept talking over me and finally I got angry, told her to listen to me and just cancel the order. She seemed flabbergasted why I would cancel my prescription. I called my doctor back and asked them to give my prescription to Alwan Pharmacy in Morton instead. Approximately 2 hours later, I was called by Alwan and told my prescription was ready. When I picked it up, it turned out that my insurance DID cover it and I paid 1/3 of the price I was quoted by Preckshot. Read other reviews online and you will discover many have the same experience. I don't know why, but it's a long wait time for prescriptions to be filled there and the staff, while friendly, aren't straightforward. read more

Courteous staff and beautiful store, but they never have the product in stock I need. I bought it twice & have not been able to get it again. I've been in the store 3 different times to buy & always out. I was told they get a couple of bottles, then they sell right away. My suggestion would be to order more stock, if certain products seem to be more popular. read more

This past week I had the privilege of visiting Preckshot at their new location at Junction City. Originally I didn't know what to expect, but thought I'd give it a shot! Walking in, I could immediately tell I was going to be treated like royalty. I was there during the Junction City Christmas walk and thought I wouldn't be getting much attention because they were so busy! On the contrary, I was greeted at the front door with smiles and a Preckshot water bottle to boot! I am a health and wellness fanatic and thought that I would ask a few questions to some of the employees to see the types of answers I would get. The employees were educated on each type of product that they sold, and if one was not able to answer me, they spoke to someone within their shop that would be able to answer me! I knew my questions may have been complex, but I was quite impressed with their responses! Something I noted was that they had items to purchase for literally anyone you could think of! (Baby, mom, dad, and the pets in the family!) I also was fortunate to get a tour around the new facility. Let me tell you- BIG.THINGS.HAPPENING. I cannot wait to see the types of educational events/sessions that will be held in the area thanks to Preckshot. Their technology is top notch and from what I know, one of the few in the country that has this type of science. I spoke with the owner of the Preckshot. Her passion was definitely apparent as she told me the story of how she got to where she is. Overall, awesome experience! I cannot wait for the completion of the laboratory and the entire shop to see what amazing things this will bring to the central Illinois region. Thank you Preckshot! I will be back. read more

1 star is the lowest I can go on this scale, but even that seems generous. My doctor's office faxed a new script to Preckshot, two weeks ago. A couple days later when I didn't hear from Preckshot I thought maybe they had my number wrong, sometimes numbers get mixed up, no biggie, I called, was told they hadn't received my script, so I called the doctor's office. I was told it had been faxed but she would fax it again just in case. Called Preckshot again the next day and at first was told the same thing, but then oh wait here it is... they would call when the order was ready and she confirmed that I was able to pay for the medication. Several days go by, no call, so I call back, and was told it should be ready by the next day. Nothing... I call them again and explain hey, my doctor took me off of one pain med that is shredding my stomach and prescribed this instead, I am in pain. Got my first apology for the inconvenience, they were waiting for vials that would be in 'tomorrow'. Two days later I call again, "vial caps will be in tomorrow". Call again, and am told "Friday." Now it is Friday, before a three day weekend, Preckshot is closed and still NOTHING. This is possibly the worse customer service I have ever experienced. read more
