He texted me that the pharm tech told him the pharmacists were all gone to lunch for the next 45 minutes. They obviously weren't. I could see them as I was waiting. I figured maybe they were busy. So just waited 20 minutes as they did stuff. After 40 minutes, my doctor said the pharm tech just put him in to voicemail. Why didn't he/she do that originally? When I asked, the pharmacist why they kept my doctor on the phone for 40 minutes only to make him leave a message she got snippy and said we are going to need 30 more minutes. I said I have been waiting 40 minutes already she snarled 30 more minutes. I asked her why are you mad at me? I could've come back tomorrow, but you can't even tell me that it's going to be a while at the beginning. Totally disorganized.

It took a month of calling my doctors, old pharmacy and this one to get them. They told me that I would have to get paper prescriptions and bring them in in order to get my prescriptions transferred over. That was a year ago. Now I tried to get a prescription refilled. I waited almost 30 minutes (after they said it would be a 15 minute wait) just for them to tell me they don't have it and I'd have to drive to a different Walgreens in east peoria to get it refilled. I've had nothing but problems with this pharmacy. They are understaffed and probably under paid. Called a different pharmacy because I want to transfer over all my prescriptions and the pharmacist there said even they have a hard time getting this Walgreens to answer the phone. NOT worth the hassle.

I've never been there previously so to my own fault I did not see the white price tag on the top of the box. This is supposed to be one of the more professional establishments but I'm happy to make a considerable drive than to deal with young unprofessionals who have zero curiosity or customer relations. After hanging around for about 15 min, I went up o the counter to see if it would be ready or if I should come back - legit wasn't upset, just trying to sort out my next steps. Pharmacist looked at me and continued to work on stuff behind the drug counter. I tried to ask but was ignored. Eventually another customer came up to the register next to me and the pharmacist immediately came over and handed them their prescription. Then the pharmacist turned to me, handed me the medication, said to pay, and then legit walked away. Whew. That was ROUGH. This place fucking rules…read more Don't get me wrong, it's an absolute shithole, their selection is garbage, the store layout is hilariously counterintuitive, and the parking lot is one of the most frustratingly convoluted constructions this side of the Riemann hypothesis. But it still rules. The staff clearly deals with awful people all day long every day and foregoes the facade of pretending they aren't miserable and/or give a shit about you and your concerns. If there's one thing I can appreciate, it's knowing that we live in a dreadful world and at least fucking being honest about it. Bonus points for being a place to upset racist white people that apparently think stepping out of your car in the parking lot of this place is as dangerous as being on the beaches of fucking Normandy during D-Day.
