I've been a customer for three years now and the outstanding customer service of the entire staff coupled with their expertise in the eyecare and eyewear industry keeps me coming back. Dr. Mayginnes is the best OD I've ever seen. He makes the process of checking my vision as seamless as possible. I used to find the process tedious and I never felt like the end results were quite right. With Dr. Mayginnes, I feel confident in the results. This last time, he was able to fit me with multifocal contact lenses that even work with my astigmatism. I am thrilled! I like to switch to glasses frequently and need new ones and Harli, the phenomenal technician that helped me, literally studied me for 30 seconds, walked right over to a shelf and picked up the pair of glasses that I ended up choosing. I will be looking for a new place to take care of my eyecare needs. This is the second time I have given them my business and I just don't feel that they value it at all. The first time I got an exam and was going to get glasses, they acted like the did not have time to help me with the selection. I was trying to find something in the price range that my insurance would cover and they just told me to look around and see what I liked. After wandering the store for about 30 minutes being ignored, I left without glasses. This time, I finally got fitted for contacts and it went well, but when I called to verify the prescription, I was rushed off the phone and told they would call me back, which they never did. Dr. Mayginnes was totally awesome. I was having a blurry eye issue. He went to great lengths to find out the problem...and explained it complete with pictures.. He was was caring and really cared my eye sight. By far the best eye doctor I have seen...He is really really good. Lexi, The person that checked me on yesterday and today to get my eyes dilated & work on getting the contacts and glasses I needed was really great. She was professional but personal...she was busy and acknowledged every customer as they came in and helped us all in a timely fashion.. Dr. Kyle Mayginnes, OD, is great! He did a thorough eye exam and also dilated my eyes. Since I am very near-sighted, it is important for me to get my eyes dilated yearly. The drops he used did not impair my vision to quite the degree I have experienced in the past when I have had that done. He spent a great deal of time determining if I need bifocals in my eyeglasses. He also determined the correct prescription for my contact lenses. Jessica, co-manager of the store, was very helpful in helping me to choose frames that would work best for me given my prescription and that also properly fit the width of my face and the bridge of my nose. She applied my insurance benefit and I got the eye exam, dliation, a 12-month supply of contacts, AND a pair of glasses for $340. Great service and great prices! read more

After receiving very poor and unprofessional service from the new staff of a local eye glass company we had been going to for years we decided to stop at All About Eyes in Peoria. We were greeted by a sales rep.( Alexandra ) soon after we entered the store and was given full attention to our needs. Alexandra was very helpful ,patient ,and joyful to work with looking at all the glasses then trying them all on to find the right pair.This is what brings back business and I am making this our new eye care company transferring our exams over to All About Eyes and tell my friends of the service we received. Amazing glasses!!! Amazing service!! I was on the search for glasses and being rather picky had trouble finding just what I was looking for. I walked into All About Eyes and was blown away by how many glasses I loved. Many of which were exclusively All About Eyes's brand. I came back over a month later when I was finally ready to pick glasses out & they still remembered me from when I'd been in to browse. Everyone I met on the staff was so wonderful and helpful. Harli & Lexi where the employees helping me. The actual eye exam went great and the Optometrist, Kyle Mayginnes, was very personable and kind. Had a great experience this week with the entire staff of All About Eyes Peoria. Lexi warmly greeted me when I walked in and was very easy to work with in pretesting--totally hate the puffer test, but she nailed it! Dr. M was very professional and thorough. Assistant Manager Meghan was extremely helpful with choosing frames. Because they have such a large selection of frames, it can be overwhelming trying to choose the perfect pair. Meghan took the time to inquire about what I was looking for and the key features I needed and made several suggestions--two of which I purchased! I scheduled back-to-back appointments for my husband and I, and our two young kids who have never had their eyes looked at before. The doctor was very patient with our little ones and talked to them in a way that made them feel at ease. I appreciate the staff being so warm and welcoming, as the kids were a little nervous at first. The staff helped us select glasses and answered questions we had concerning coverage. After mistaking my Swiffer for Chowder Cat I knew it was time for new glasses. It had been about 6 years since my last pair. So I made the dreaded call. Jessica was very helpful thru out the process. Picked up my new pair and just LOVE them! I took my 4 year old in for an eye exam for school (with 2 other babies in tow). The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The store is clean and customer service top notch. We had an appointment, so we didn't hardly have to wait at all. The doctor did an amazing job with my son. He made him feel comfortable, and he was able to make the exam fun. He explained everything to me in detail. We did not get glasses, but for a routine exam it was excellent. I'll be returning for all my children. I have been going to All About for many years. The staff is exceptional. Dr. Kyle explained an eye condition that I now have and answered my questions so I completely understood. Then it's time to pick frames. This can be a very daunting experience. What looks best on me? Meghan E stepped right up to the task. I went to Bard Optical and their total bill for two prescriptions was OVERPRICED. I left there without my glasses, but had them print me out my prescription. I went to all about eyes and was charged a little less than half the price Bard quoted me for the same exact glasses, prescription and additional special requests. I will forever go to them and recommend them to my entire friends and family. Thank you for being extremely reasonable and fair, especially during these hard times. This is our second time at All About Eyes. We got eye exams and glasses. The staff is very professional and friendly. The doctor took the time with us, both in the examination and in the explanation of what we needed and why. The front office ladies were so nice and helpful! We had a previous problem with bifocals and they were quick to fix the problem and made sure we were satisfied with the glasses. Went to All About Eyes on Fathers Day June 17. My daughter has a challenging prescription as it's high so I knew we had to narrow down our search but not exactly how to do that. Melinda worked with us and took the time to help narrow our search to frames that would work with our prescription and my daughter's preferred frame type. I went to All About Eyes for the first time for an eye exam and to get a new pair of glasses because a friend recommended it. It was a great experience. The front staff were friendly and helpful. They whisked me through registration quickly. The optometrist was skilled and efficient, and had a great sense of humor. The eyeglass selection was incredible. I needed new glasses, as mine were literally falling apart. I got a coupon in the mail and decided to stop in. This location has a large selection of frames, and good customer service. I spoke with another retailer and they were really pushy/salesy so I didn't even bother. Not the case here. Jessica, a co-manager, took really good care of me.
