Did you know you can get wagyu steak at Walmart? Oh my it was hard to find but I finally did get my hands on some. And seeing the price point, so worth it. As opposed to going to a steakhouse spending anywhere from $50-$100 for a much smaller cut. I mean of course it's nice to get out to a fancy steakhouse sometimes to indulge but this definitely works for one of those days you just feel like cooking at home. Walmart tire center, located at Elverson crossings in PA has the WORST customer service I have come acrossed. Made a 11 AM appt, asked specifically if they changed headlights, and was told "if they're not too difficult". Totally understand, too difficult may take too much time IF they are busy. Pulled in at 10:38, the only cars parked outside were the three mechanic. not another vehicles in site, not in the bays or in line. Crabby man that waited on me explained they may be able to change them, if it didn't take too much time. I Youtubed installation, and since I did not have the right tools, hesitated to unscrew the one bolt and pop out the three pins holding the panel on. It wasn't so much the inability to let me know if they could replace the lights, but the ignorance of the crabby man insisting "how much time it would take" since I was the only customer in sight. On Thursday June 9, 2022 at approximately 4:35PM My wife and I went to the Walmart Store #5881 in Springfield PA. We planned on buying a new 65'' TV and home theater accessories and components. As we arrived at the electronics/TV department we observed seven (7) store employees in the department glued to their phones completely ignoring us. I don't know if it was our tattoos or my wife's blue hair, no one looked our way, or said "hello" . We felt completely discriminated against. I had cash in hand and fully intended to purchase a new 65' tv and soundbar. After 15-20 minutes browsing through the department we tried to get the attention of 1 out of the 7 employees, to no avail. We left the store feeling completely dismayed and degraded. In comparison we decided to browse Bestbuy, the prices were higher, but that was completely offset by their professionalism and willingness to assist us. read more

This Walmart isn't as bad as everybody reviews make it out to be. I was there today and the lines wasn't bad. I was able to shop without any problems. I was able to be in and out without any hiccups. The Walmarts are not what it used to be, since the onset of the covid pandemic. The prices are deceiving. The price labels seem to differ from the barcode price, when being checked out. Then I realize that I'm not saving money I'm spending more money, and feel that I'm better off shopping at other places to save, or spend similar amount for quality. As far as delivery goes, it is not reliable much of the times. There have been at least one time when I felt like I have thrown my money out the window to receive my order. Customer service was sought for a replacement or to get a refund, which required going above and beyond still haven't received the merchandise nor the refund to date. read more

Honestly, our experience was Fantastic and we always come here for automotive items! Car oil "their brand" Super Tech is only $4.48 for 1 Qt, so who could ever complain about that? I guess we all should thank Walmart for providing us with quality and affordable products! Now, don't get it wrong, this place gets super busy so you need to time your shopping as needed! Either early mornings or later in the evening. In the morning their shelves are stocked to the Tee! Later in the evening's, we can avoid the crowds but some of their selection is limited, such as their fruits and vegetables! I am pleased with most of their products and find so many wonderful items made in the USA! That's what we all should be looking for more products made in the Good Old United States of America and also Going Green products, if we want to make America Great Again! A "good enough" Wal-Mart that is a Supercenter, meaning that it has a full grocery section with butcher (such as it is) and produce. Electronics, personal care, clothing. The store wasn't dim and dark, the shelves looked well stocked and the checkout process was speedy. I was # 12 in line and only 1 'Return' cashier who was also in charge of 'Bill Paying, check cashing and money orders' The cashier was working her butt off and the Return line was getting longer and longer. Hello to Yelp Family!!! I thought that I had written a review about this Walmart but I guess I didn't. I used to patronize this location quite frequently before Corona, but since they never seem to have the big container of red peppermints I stopped visiting. Usually I visit the Walmart on MacDade Blvd, they usually manage to have them. This location is extremely convenient and is home to Burlington Coat Factory, DSW, Marshalls, Joann's, K and G, Old Navy, Five Below, Smashburger, etc. The location is near Baltimore Pike, which everyone seems to know about. The parking lot is huge. A Planet Fitness is in the back, its brand new and its beautiful!!! The parking lot is huge back there. I had a pleasant experience at Walmart today. They had everything I wanted except for workout gloves. I found them at Five Below for $5.00. That was a pleasant surprise!! One of the lady associates was extremely helpful today at Walmart and I forgot to get her name. But this new location, besides symbolizing the slow decline of a former upper middle class area in the Philadelphia suburbs as young yuppies flee the sterility of suburbia to the now-revitalized inner city, is fairly complete in its offerings. No, there weren't lots of people in pajamas, night gowns, Playboy bunny suits or tight swimming trunks. Yes, there were the usual Wal-Mart funny customers riding around in their electric carts. And you couldn't find a men's small or medium piece of clothing anywhere on the racks. Otherwise, it was complete. The Halloween selection looked like an old Soviet supermarket - picked clean... The bargains here are surprisingly better than most discount box stores. Prices are often better than on the same items sold within 5 miles of this store. Employees were helpful in trying hard to find an item for you. Even with a customer service issue to be resolved, it was done promptly, pleasantly and professionally. Only suggestion is for one day a week devoted to a Senior Discount. This way Walmart can compete directly with other box discount stores and supermarkets in the area who ALL offer this Senior Discount! Also, if Walmart corporate is smart, they'll offer this in discount in Pennsylvania because we now have the largest senior population in the country (yes, larger than Florida!) living in retirement communities across the state and all looking for bargains. read more

Although there are 50 11 employees on the floor, no one is around when you need help and if it's not their department good luck with that. Parking lot is small for the amount of big box stores in the plaza. Store is clean, love that I can food shop and get all my other regular necessities. Usually enough cashiers. At vision center: team was very helpful. Had an eye exam and ordered glasses. Try to make your appt for the morning so that it is quieter and less packed. read more

This is one of the worst stores I have been to anywhere ever in my entire life. It is amazing that this place can stay in business. I was walking on the outside of this shopping center and everything was clean, until you get near Walmart. As soon as you cross the threshold to Walmart, there is tons of trash and garbage on the ground everywhere! Now I know what you are thinking. That is the customers fault. As many other reviewers have mentioned this Walmart is a hot mess.. which really is starting to be a trend at many of the Walmart's in the area. The parking is chaotic and just not built for the traffic that a Super Walmart brings. During the holidays it is necessary to have police directing traffic to get out of the shopping center. What a surprise! My husband and I went food shopping at Wal-Mart pretty frequently for awhile. Now, after our experience last night, I realize why we stopped shopping there. To begin, I have transitioned to veganism a few months ago. I am still on the hunt for newer foods and thought that Wal-Mart would have vegan items that I haven't yet tried. WRONG! For a huge corporation, Wal-Mart does not have much as far as variety. I was highly disappointed. When my husband and I were finally done food shopping, it was time to check out. 20 minutes later and we were STILL waiting in line to check out! My husband and I got into a line. We waited for about 5 minutes. Out of the blue, the cashier turns out her light and says that she is closed. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! After we have waited already waited in this line for 5 minutes, we attempted to find another register that did not have many customers. Well, we all know how that went. We got into another line and waited ANOTHER 15-20 minutes. I wish I was exaggerating. During this time, another cashier, who had multiple people in her line, turned off her light and called out that she was now closed. How is this customer service?! To sum this up, my husband and I WILL NOT be shopping here again. read more

hands down it's the worst Walmart I've ever been too and I've lived all over the country. customer service is beyond horrible...I've been there hundreds of times but never again...almost never any eye contact, no greeting, no smile, no thank you, or good bye. And then they frequently insist on seeing your receipt when you leave. If you go on Saturday or Sunday nights to avoid crowds, then the shelves are empty. Prices aren't that much of a savings and usually grocery stores have cheaper prices if on sale. read more

This Walmart is the worst! Bottom line this should not be called or even CONSIDERED a superstore....The selection is always non-existent and customer service is very poor. The cashiers are rude and seem to go out of there way NOT to help you. And parking is hellish, especially on the weekend. This used to be a nice shopping center but the area is now trashy with the addition of this store. Also, go in the store and take a look around at the sales associates. I remember when the proposal for this Walmart was in the papers. And how the big thing was this would be a boom for the area and provide jobs for the locals. It is very obvious the workers are NOT from the area. Also might I add, if you look around at alot of the other stores and medical offices in the area. These are not local residents working at these businesses. I think it would be helpful if these buisnesses put there priority on hiring local residents first. Customer Care is not very important to them. First of all, I am in a wheelchair, so I need a hand basket to do my shopping. They never seem to have any. After several times, and after I finally got tired of stalking other shoppers to get one after they check out, I asked the manager. He said there were only 4 or 5 in the entire store. They order 20 at a time when they get low, I should be able to use one early next week. Thanks, but I'm here today, not early next week. They a multi-million dollar company. I think they can afford to have a few hand baskets available. I also go to the pharmacy here, spend about $200+ a month on prescriptions. There is one that they won't keep in stock, I guess it's too expensive, so when I come with the prescription, they can't fill it. So I have to come back 2-3 days later, which leaves me without my medication for 2-3 days. Plus, being in a wheelchair, I have to arrange transportation a second time at ten bucks a pop. After finally juggling and dropping the few things I was able to hold onto with no basket, I checked out at the pharmacy, and was told they aren't allowed to have the larger shopping bags there. So I brought everything over to someone standing by the front door to ask for a larger shopping bag. You would have thought I asked for a million dollars. It seemed to be a huge deal. Finally, a lovely employee overheard us, and got the bag for me. Thank you to her. But very few people seemed to care about anything, especially the manager on duty.
