What can I say, it's Walmart. They got where they are because they are so big, they buy product in such massive quantities that they get better pricing than smaller stores. This allowed them to sell things much cheaper than other retailers. In doing so they have put all those other retailers out of business. Now with almost no competition, they raised all their prices to what those smaller businesses used to sell the same product for. Their namebrand selection over the years has also been, pretty much eliminated, now what you see mostly on the shelves is either great value brand or Sam's choice. And in most cases, they are not good from what I have experienced. And it seems the majority of their label is made in China, where they have very limited regulations. as well as oversight to ensure that products are being made to our standards. Example; lead-based paint on children's toys and poisonous pet food, just to name a few examples from the past. do I recommend Walmart......NOPE. But what difference does that make when most people have no choice but them. read more

I purchased this Google Play Card at Wal-Mart @ I 45 Louetta on 12/21/23. This is a bad Card which cannot load or pay for my books. I brought this Card back to this Wal-Mart story to refund on 12/22/23 and 12/26/23. However, managers whose name Pam and Cameron (I may mis-spelling managers' names) denied to refund. I would recommend this location as the lines don't seem as long as other Walmart locations. Worst effing Walmart I have ever been at. We are literally waiting 30 minutes now for somebody to come open up the sporting goods case. Eight people have been asked and nobody has been able to get anyone back here. I called the operator and stood in line in the customer service area and watched three different women ignore the phone. I got up to the desk and the lady said what can I help you with I said you can answer the phone because that's me who has been calling for the last 30 minutes. I am now in the electronics section still waiting for the key to the sporting goods case. Oh and don't bother calling the manager; the picture on the wall that says 'how can I help you'? cuz her phone is the one that rang repeatedly for 30 minutes and got ignored. the entire store team f+#king sucks. Except Veronica, literally after 45 minutes she was able to assist. Thank you to Veronica, she needs to get a job at a good place. Never...... Ever do curbside pickup at the Walmart off of Louetta & 45 So I placed a curbside order yesterday morning and within a few hours while I was still at work it said it was ready for pickup. So my wife went there and checked in on the app. She literally waited for 30 mins before someone even came to see about her order. The gentleman said that they would be out shortly they were just behind. So another 10 mins passed and still nothing. So since my wife and kids were waiting so long, I decided to drive there myself and told my wife to go home. I then waited 25 mins myself. I got out my truck and noticed it was a lot of people there waiting for their order as well. Some said they been there for 2 hours .... Yes, 2 hours!!!!! So I waited for the associate to come out and told him i been there for a hour and he said "Sir, your order was picked but not sure where it's at. I expect to find it within another hour" So I told him don't worry about it and cancelled my order. I ended up going in the store and getting it myself. This Walmart curbside is absolutely ridiculous and is defeating the purpose of having "curbside" services. I called Walmart customer care and complained about this store as well. They need to do an evaluation of this Walmart on their workers etc because this is not good customer service whatsoever. This Walmart refuses to tell customers to wear mask even though it is mandatory from the county. Stating we can only ask that the customers do. First off, the number of stars y'all reviewed for this location are messed up! They're not THAT bad! I can do a little better for you, Wal-mart. This has been my go-to spot for knick knacks and quick snacks since I moved in the area. Now that I'm leaving, I figured I better review it before I head out. I'm not the shopper who roams down each aisle, spending hours in the store. Nope. I come with purpose and leave accomplished...unless I'm in Target. Everybody has time for Target. I normally pick up rotisserie chickens at Costco, but got one here last week and was impressed. Okaaay! Same $5 price with the same great taste. They had choices of chickens seasoned differently too. When I've asked for assistance here, I received it kindly, and for the most part, I've always been able to leave with all the items I was looking for. If they had a gas station that would be awesome IN THEORY. Probably would increase the traffic something crazy. Just sign up for Shells fuel rewards and fill up over there across the parking lot. I ordered baby bottles online and picked up in-store for the first time here once too. The process was so stream-lined that I'd definitely do it again. Go ahead and skip the line...they're ready for you, online shoppers! You can score some better deals that way too if you also use Ebates. Don't even bother ordering curbside from here it's probably going to take them 4 days to complete it. I was waiting on a curbside for about two hours, i was there from 8 till 10 at night. It's the Saturday before Christmas, the economy is supposedly "better than its ever been", there's 1,000 people shopping, and this store has 3 people clerks checking people out, and about 30 self checkouts open with half of them accepting card only. I can honestly say this may be my last time shopping at this Walmart and maybe all Walmart's all together. They truly don't value the customer and/or their time. I mean seriously, I had to ask the person behind me if it was ok if I ran back to the freezer aisle to replace my ice cream bc it's soup now. It's located in a very convenient area for me. There is a McDonalds inside of Wal Mart and several restaurants in the immediate area. If I could give this place a zero I would. Don't come here and expect to get help if you're not black. I waited at self check for a couple of minutes for help; not only did I not receive help by the person over self-check(Which was so dirty it wouldn't scan my items, I had to type the upc of all my items). He helped people before me that were black, two of them and he did not even look my way. I had to walk away from self check to find an associate who would help me. The person who helped was the most unfriendliness female I have ever met. If you hate your job, that's fine. Do not take it out on customers. This Walmart's customer service sucks! read more

One of the last times I had to go to Walmart , my mother and I waited in line for a very long time only to see a man in front of us move out of the way to allow FOUR women and their baskets full of stuff to get in line. They will not do anything about people who behave in this way . The last time I went to this same Walmart they were playing Spanish language music on the radio or playlist. Every other song was in Spanish. I'd expect that if I was in Mexico for example; but here not so much. read more

DING DING DING, there is the #1 problem with this walmart. You can NEVER find an associate to help you in most of this store. I don't know where they are always hiding out, but if you ever do find one, consider yourself lucky and go buy a lottery ticket before that luck wears off! This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to in my life. What is even more sad is that it is the closest one to my house so we end up here frequently. I only go here if I have to though. I would much rather drive an extra 10 minutes and go to the one off of Sawdust. It is 100x better than this one. Staff here is clueless and I have never had any decent customer service. You might as well try to find items on your own, because you will not get any help from the employees. Store is so dimly lit here as well and it makes you feel gloomy while you are there. Nobody at this location has any idea what -inventory control- means. I was there today 0810 on a Saturday--and they were out of milk!!!! What a bunch of clowns!!! They can not or refuse to keep AZ Diet Tea stocked!!! The only person in the store who seemed to have a clue was the greeter!!!! I did 't find it, she called the manager, I showed them my bank statement that I just spent at their store, they still didn't let me out, after 25 minutes I luckily found my receipt. Went to this Walmart last minute since we weren't able to go to the usual one. We usually go to the one in Humble on 1960 next to the Kroger and Sam's. WOW! Talk about empty shelves and the whole store unorganized.. Needed groceries and this place is a joke. We didn't find half of what we usually buy. Very disappointed. Had our 2 kids with us. Only descent thing about this location is the Pickup area is fast and convenient. Other than that, you're better off traveling a farther distance. Never coming here again. read more

This Wal-mart is very decent! I've been going here for 20 years and am a diehard Wal-mart fan. This store was recently renovated and is much better on the inside than what it was in the past. I've never had an issue with customer service, self-checkout, or anything else that a lot of people are complaining about on yelp. Wal-mart increased the number of self-checkout lanes to well over about 20 in this particular store so the long lines are thing of the past. read more

FOR Montgomery Country, yet we're in Harris County! Tried looking for binders for my classes, surprise! They didn't have any...
