Great location - found everything I need and more. Great customer service with a snap of finger. The store is equipped with the necessary items: water, eggs, bread and other snacks for your tastebuds. The cashier even offer to dance with me as he calculated to my order. If you plan on coming to this location bring your patience. This happens often enough, and it happened to two patrons in front of me in line, the EBT scanner doesn't work. This causes delays due to the high tech thing of scanning with their smart phone. It's less conspicuous to scan with $1000 phone than an actual govt issued card, but just like at the TSA scanners at the airport, you ought to bring the real thing with you. This store doesn't seems to carry as much variety as the other stores but that may not be a problem for some. read more

This location is the closest to my house but definitely doesn't have the variety and inventory other Aldi stores have. I've been to 3 locations looking for the coconut water. I wish you guys had it in stock. What happened to it??? I asked the cashier clerk when he checked me out and he snapped, "We get it when we get it!" SO RUDE. Listen, I'm glad Aldi has expanded their reach and going into all types of neighborhoods to provide their savings to all walks of life, but this one has a different vibe. This is my second time visiting and the energy is a little off. The cashiers are friendly and all and they have the same type of selection I've found in other Houston area Aldis, but...okay...I had to pause while writing this review and find the words to express why it feels different from other Aldis. I almost has that Walmart shopping experience feel--and yall know Im not a Walmart fan! Long lines...at least there were two cashiers, but people asking for change to be broken, slowing down the lines...people holding the line up while somebody else shops for more groceries to put on the conveyor (and if you knew they had that much stuff, you would have gotten in the other line). For me specifically, I saw the lane closed sign up three customers ahead of me, so I got out of line to the longer line only to see that the people in front of me bullied the cashier to check them out when the sign was clearly up, therefore causing me to stay in line longer trying to be courteous and respectful. I say all this to communicate that as consumers, its important to be courteous to others to make the shopping experience great for all. Aldi is fine. The prices are spectacular as usual, but this one has consumers who are a little disrespectful and uncourteous to others. I would definetly shop at this location unless necessary. read more

Yay!! I'm happy that Aldi finally made a location here. The area needed another grocery store other than just the Fiesta further down the road. This location is fairly quiet. Our first visit was on a Thursday afternoon and it was relatively empty. The layout of the store is simple and organized. I like the selection of wine they have here. They actually have a larger selection than some of the other Aldi's that I've been to. Their produce is fresh and neatly shelved. You cannot beat the prices here. Even if you just come to Aldi for the produce, it's worth it. Now I was sad to see that this location doesn't carry a lot of vegetarian/vegan products that Aldi announced it was launching in 2017. You can find veggie patties and vegan hot dogs but that's about it. No big deal, but I had hopes that this location would carry more of the veggie selections. As with all of the locations, they don't have multiple checkout lines open. Most of the time, you will see that they only have 1 line open for checkout. However, the line always goes fast. I also agree with fellow Yelper, Tam M's review, that the people who frequent here need to be more courteous of other shoppers and staff. I witnessed questionable stuff my first visit here, but every visit after has all been gravy. With this welcomed new addition, I will be frequenting this location more whenever I'm in the area. read more

Aldi was an excellent addition to this area. Before this Aldi, I used to frequent the Aldi on Tomball. I like how this Aldi's parking lot is set up, but I feel like the inside of the Tomball location is a bit better planned. The staff members are friendly and good at opening up another lane when the line gets long, but I also agree that lines tend to get longer than lines at the Tomball location. I am starting to see more and more being offered at Aldi, and I love it! Go get yourself some of those eclairs, girl scout knock-offs, and basically everything else they have. This location is alright...but cashiers are rude af especially Melissa, she made a comment loud enough for everyone to hear saying that she wanted to go home already and so she proceeded to scan and throw mine and everyone else's groceries that WE ARE PAYING FOR in the basket. Very good prices nice staff. You can tell they are treated well by their employer. I do most of my grocery shopping at ALDI

The store is perfectly fine the only problem I've had is that they are always closed before the posted time of 9:00 p.m. I've gone on several occasions in need of only one or two items and the front doors have already been locked sometimes as early as 8:45 p.m. I work at a grocery store and I know how it is with customers coming in past close time but why shut down 15 min early? read more

Glad there's an Aldi closer to my house, but too bad the service sucks. I showed up at 8:30, and the entrance doors were locked, presumably because only one person was on the register. The store closes at 9 though, so I walked through the exit to get my two items. I get in line, and finally another line opens up. When I get to the register, the cashier rings up my total and I pull out the money. Mind you I paid cash, I took not even 5 seconds to see if I had exact change, the cashier rings up the guy behind me, shoves the change in my hand, and then tries to make me take the receipt, which she got mixed up with the guy's behind me because she had no business ringing him up in the middle of my transaction anyway. I work customer service, and I understand how things can be when it gets busy, but I waited in line like everyone else, and I expect that when it's my turn, I don't get treated like that. Sad part it, it was probably the manager. I'd suggest they either hire more staff, or put different people on schedule during peak hours that know how to handle themselves. read more

The West Road location opening was great. I was a regular customer to Aldi since they opened over on 249. Having this one on the way in my daily commute is so convenient. The store is clean they are well stocked with all the products I have come to enjoy and new items all the time. The staff is helpful, and friendly my daughter asked me if I knew one of the cashiers she said our conversation was as if we knew each other. No I didn't know her other than the interaction in the store. When customers remember to give the kind of treatment they like to receive, the experience is a better one. Also to me is a specialty store no they don't carry all the national brands, but carry a great variety of items. The number of employees is less than other stores, so the lines are a bit longer but with a little patience and a smile it goes by in no time. I see how a lot of us customers will let someone with fewer items go ahead of those with more. Kindness does wonders!!! No the carts and bags are not free, but bring a quarter and your own bags and you are good to go. read more
