They haven't locked the doors yet, but they had already closed out the registers. I told the kid I wouldn't be more than two minutes I just needed to snatch up a tie, and he was so nice. I know he did not have to do it, but he opened up his register and allowed me to run back and grab a tie, totally saved my day. Great customer service, and I am eternally thankful.

I spend a lot of money in this store having 2 young kids and no where else in Sterling to buy…read moreclothes for them so I always have Kohl's cash. For the first time today they wouldn't accept my expired Kohl's cash which is extremely annoying. My kids don't need new clothes every month and it was only 2 weeks expired. Marshalls is nice, the ladies in Victoria's Secret were incredibly sweet and helpful, Bath and Body Works smells good, Christopher and Banks had some decent sale stuff. The AMC theater seems to be the biggest draw. The former JCPenney will soon become Spirit Halloween. I sure hope this mall can somehow be revitalized. The locals need somewhere to shop that isn't Kohls or Walmart.

I consider Peru kind of like the middle of nowhere, so I'm surprised there was a mall here. I came here on the weekend and the parking lot was packed and I thought this place was packed because we were expecting plenty of food options. I guess, the only thing really driving this mall here is the movie theater. The rest of the mall is basically an afterthought. The mall itself is more of a medium size, once story mall, over half the stores are vacant and just one anchor I believe, there really isn't much food here either if you're hungry. The stores they have here aren't bad either, I know this place is trying its best too. I love it's creative idea to put a haunted house in a mall, I give that credit. Definitely great for mall walking but not an exciting mall. This mall in my opinion is really outdated with its interior, it reminds me of walking into Ford City before they remodeled it.

I timidly approached the racks and realized that this truly is a Clearance Center from a price perspective - the markdowns are astronomical! I saw someone else say that it was worth the two hour drive, so I decided to tempt fate and cross my fingers that it would be just as good for me. Over $700 later, I left with gifts for nearly everyone in my life (including myself!). The highlight of the place is the women's dress section. It's huge and dresses for EVERY occasion. The amount of sequins in this place is unreal. The men's section is also enormous, as is the women's (non-dress) section, including a great plus-size variety. The shoe clearance section was all women's; there was another shoe dept but I never made it over there. The most underwhelming area was the kids department, and specifically the boys section. The girls section was decent, but the boys was crazy sparse. The baby department had a fairly good selection. The main focus here is ABSOLUTELY clothing, but there are some home goods. If you're making the visit, make sure you walk the whole store and aim for clothing!

Similar to the Glenview location it carries that same old school ambience which is really quite nice. They also sometimes have a live piano player as does Glenview, which is really fantastic and create a great feeling to add to that welcome Homie sense that they build. Similar to the Glenview location I will say again really great selection. They carry great brands however because I feel like it is slightly larger they carry even more product and therefore more options. Love coming here as usual parking is pretty easy inconvenient for Yorktown and so glad that old-school type department stores still exist somewhere here in the Illinois area.

This is a great mall that has a little something for everyone. The mall has a convenient layout and it's easy to get from one store to the next. The prices depend on which store you go to. Claires is relatively cheap and Bergner's tends to be on the expensive side and has a few brand names. Overall, going here is a great way to spend a few hours and/or to buy presents for yourself or others.
