My favorite little rural mall! I remember when they had all 3 anchors (Sears, Bergner's, and JCPenney) and that wasn't too long ago...2-3 years and boom! All gone. Kind of a fun stop...kind of depressing at the same time. Marshalls is nice, the ladies in Victoria's Secret were incredibly sweet and helpful, Bath and Body Works smells good, Christopher and Banks had some decent sale stuff. The AMC theater seems to be the biggest draw. The former JCPenney will soon become Spirit Halloween. I sure hope this mall can somehow be revitalized. The locals need somewhere to shop that isn't Kohls or Walmart. read more

I came across this mall completely by accident but I really had to come here because I am such a mall enthusiast. I consider Peru kind of like the middle of nowhere, so I'm surprised there was a mall here. I came here on the weekend and the parking lot was packed and I thought this place was packed because we were expecting plenty of food options. I guess, the only thing really driving this mall here is the movie theater. The rest of the mall is basically an afterthought. The mall itself is more of a medium size, once story mall, over half the stores are vacant and just one anchor I believe, there really isn't much food here either if you're hungry. The stores they have here aren't bad either, I know this place is trying its best too. I love it's creative idea to put a haunted house in a mall, I give that credit. Definitely great for mall walking but not an exciting mall. This mall in my opinion is really outdated with its interior, it reminds me of walking into Ford City before they remodeled it. read more

Coming from Florida to visit needed to swing by Bath Body works. This isn't even a poor excuse for a mall. As a joke their motto here is " Come experience real shopping". Only about 12-15 stores in the complete mall even at that several are closed till midday. The only thing that's really to experience here in the parking lot is the real moon landing driving experience. Absolutely worst mall I've ever experienced. You can tell the economy in the Midwest at least from the degraded and poor infrastructure and lack or modernization in this area. Only other thing is you'd get run over by elderly briskly speed walking like the Olympics. read more

About as good as it gets for a mall these days. I grew up in the 80's and 90's when malls were at their peak. Miss those days.

The Peru mall is losing so many stores in it. We barely have any stores to shop at I think they need to put new stores in the mall. Most the stores in mall are going out of businesses and Our AMC theater needs to be biggers read more

This mall's condition mimics most malls in the nation but I have seen worse. Not many shops, in need of maintenance. I still appreciate it being there because there aren't many places to shop in this area. read more

This was a cute little mall. I was pretty impressed at what a nice mall it was, considering I grew up in Schaumburg, home town of the mecca, Woodfield Mall! There were major stores such as Payless, Victoria's Secret, Sears and JCPenney. I have to say, the selection was so-so and the clothes not nearly as avant-garde or fashionable as I'm used to up here. But it was a fun "outing" during our girly trip none the less. I did find a pair of cute heels at 'Penny's. The will forever be a fond memory of my girly weekend in the country. read more

There are more empty spaces than stores. It is a mess of a mall and the only reason I go there is to pay my Victoria's Secret bill.

From the looks of it I'd say its a matter of time before the whole mall gets shut down. There are empty stores through out the entire mall. There are some major chain department stores but other then that there's mainly local shops rite now. They'll be the first ones to go. The rest will fall like dominos after that. read more

Not the mall if your older or have a disability. I pulled up to pick up my wife and as she got in the car was approached by the pimple faced 18 year old mall cop who told me to "move it" or he would call the cops. His small mind couldn't put together the fact that my wife with 2 bad knees was getting in the car at that very moment. When I didn't move the car within 30 seconds, he jumped out of the vehicle and threatened me again that if I didn't move immediately that he would call police. No wonder the mall is at 25% capacity.
