Ordered 10 various items totaling nearly $200 to be shipped to the same address. It has been over a week and most items have finally shipped and some still due. I had one convenience item ( a pail of BBQ lighters) that some local delivery person picked up and then would not deliver unless I personally was going to be there. They originally said they could not find the same address that all the other packages have found, then they would have to coordinate a driver and would need more calls back from me to confirm. Once they knew it was going to a postal annex and they would not be getting a tip, they refused to deliver the item stating there was a delivery problem. The problem is Walmart over promising what they are not willing to back up and independent delivering personnel holding product for ransom (a tip for their own pocket) What a scam and there is no one at Walmart concerned with this practice of deception and refusal to deliver such a simple item. read more

Every single time I come in, (which is a lot because I personally shop here and I work for instacart) whether I'm entering the store, have a question, or am leaving the store Edwin is ALWAYS so nice and even through his mask I can tell he's all smiles! That makes a tremendous difference in where I decide to personally do my shopping. Worst Walmart from all the cities I've stayed in and gone too.The "Manager" with glasses just stands around will his what seems like untrained cashiers struggle to keep a line down ,afternoons and idk how it's worse in the mornings.The only cashier that's open in the mornings is some lady that you can barely understand when she's speaking and is very slow and seems like she's never worked cashier a day in her life but I mostly put that on the Manager who has come over to try and help but always has a bad attitude towards costumers,I really don't like coming here unless I absolutely have to read more

Was browsing here last night walking off my Chili's dinner. This Walmart is huuuge and even has a MCD inside! Not sure why the reviews are so bad but the store was well organized from what I could see yesterday so maybe they made some changes recently? Who knows. And Yes they are busy but with prices like that why wouldn't they be? I got some frames for my diploma and my license and they were a bit small but that's my fault. Frames were about 10 bucks. Good deal. Planning on exchanging them today. Also bought some furry slippers for 8 bucks. Can't wait to wear them around the house. I walked in here to get a bag of ice real quick and ended up with an experience to say the least . I wanted to use the restroom and quickly asked a worker when I entered on the north side where it was and he said it was on the south side of the store , I walked to the complete opposite side of the store only to find out there was no restroom there at all . I'm thinking , we'll you work here dude and don't know where the restroom is, so I asked another worker and he sent me to the correct place which was the other side of the store on the west side. No paper towels in the restroom, dirty , I mean I don't even know at this point . So I got up to the register to pay for a bag of ice and the service was super, duper slow, It was brutally slow, about ten minutes in line, for two customers , crazy store . This is an enormous store. They have a large selection of items and a large grocery department, so it's a good place to do your grocery shopping as they have much lower prices on most items than the supermarket. The one thing I've found to be especially annoying is that they started a policy several months ago of keeping certain items under lock and key. You have to find store clerk to open the cabinet for you if you want one of these such items and then they take it one of cashiers themselves where you can pick it up when you check out. This is understandable for certain high valued items that can be easily shoplifted, but is totally ridiculous for various lower valued items, such as a $2 bottle of aspirin. When I need such things, I don't think it's worth all the extra trouble and so I just buy those items at stores. read more

My worst shopping experience! No shopping carts. We had to walk 10 minutes in the parking lot and search for cart. In the store we picked our merchandise and while picking up an item our cart was stolen and our stuff emptied here and there. We went and picked what we needed again, holding them in our hands. When we were ready to go to the cashiers, we saw only limited many were open and about 20 people in each line were waiting to be checked out, even in the self checkout line. We waited in line about 25 minutes but it was moving so slow that we left all the items and left without buying anything. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Never again. read more

What really had me burning was that after waiting 5 minutes a fully abeled employee (or so it seemed) walked out of the handicapped stall. How can you post 0 stars? Worse customer service in the world. Ordered grocery items to be delivered, but the driver delivered them to the wrong location. Called customer service for assistance and the troubles began. They promised that the items would be delivered the next day, but they were not delivered. When I called to check on the order, there was no order. They gave me a 15-dollar promo that I could use if I spent another 25 dollars and told me to have a nice day. I was told that it would be 7 to 10 business days before the money could be returned to my card. No compassion, no concern, just a scripted response to my issues. Tried reporting on the lines given for escalations, and they tried to sell me a Medicare Advantage program. All the lines and emails are on autopilot, with more script and I am without groceries or the monies that I have allocated for food...must wait 7 to 10 business days for them to put it back on my card. BEWARE OF THE AUTO CENTER! I called and made a 9:00 a.m. appointment for tire rotation, headlight restoration, and oil change. I was told they do oil changes on a first come, first served basis. I said OK and that I'd like to do the tire rotation and headlight restoration, and then I'd get in line for the oil change. I showed up a little early. I went to the auto center desk inside and was told to check-in with a technician in the garage. I did, and was sent to an employee in the parking lot wearing a hat. This guy was courteous, but had to double-check a lot with others in the garage. Bottom line - I was then told they do not do tire rotation by appointment, only tire installs, and if I wanted a tire rotation I'd have to wait 3 hours! I said thank you, canceled the appointment, and left. Now, this morning, I get an email from Walmart saying my appointment was canceled because they can only keep them open for 15 minutes. I try to make calls to this store frequently to make sure they have a certain product on the shelf (as it says online) but there is no answer I try calling back for an hour. When I finally show up the product is not there and I am told it will be a week before they will get only 3 of the product if it was not kitty litter I most likely not care. I generally try to avoid this Walmart because the parking lot sucks so bad (SOOO full of pedestrians/customers it's almost impossible to drive in/out of the lot), but I was looking for poptarts in a new flavor so I came here and they had them. The store was clean with WIDE isles and the check-out staff was polite and friendly. It was really a pretty average visit and I had no real complaints. They have cheap products at low prices. There is a McDonalds inside this store (you heard right, though there's also a stand-alone McD's just outside in the same strip mall, there's one INSIDE Walmart too), they have a vision center and they have electronic carts for those who have trouble walking. I'd come here more often if it had a better parking lot situation compared to their business. read more

What's the point of having twenty registers if you're only using six during the holiday season!!!!! Make sure you have lots of time for checkout. Pricematch at register even makes the lines 10x longer! They need to be only doing it for, say, up to four items max. Not the whole cart!!! Send those people to customer service!!!!! The manager says that their importance of the day is keeping the store clean and tidy (12/18/16). Gee... this is such a distressful super store. It is like visiting a 3rd world country walking in here. Couldn't find any staff who could help us in pets, sporting goods or the auto section where we were looking for stuff. In the men's room it was filthy with an industrial ambiance. Plus in the parking lot the ghetto "jungle" music with bass blasting from passing cars is pretty annoying... add to that the crowd here is a different sort with sometimes brightly colored hair, and often odd looking "Twilight Zone" folks chattering in slang half the time ... I'm not coming back EVER if I can help it to this surreal place. Now I know / remember why it's been over a year since my last visit here.... sigh. On the up side I confess that it is a decent "ONE STOP" place which might have anything you might be looking for. The Grocery section on entry looked "bright" and cheerful due in part to being painted in a "sunny" color. Although we did not enter the grocery section - it looked sizable. That said, we found NOTHING of what we came in to find. No help to find it - though we looked carefully. My spouse ended up buying TWO items on clearance which were about 90% off their original Walmart price ... things I complained we didn't need but how can I complain at $0.75 each? Sigh... still it amounted to a pointless loss of time in that we didn't find anything for which we were going for? For this convincingly disappointing visit I am OK bestowing ONE star. WORST customer service and management ever! My boyfriend and I went there 4/22 to look at a few things. He lost his wallet there (yes his fault). We tried a few things on in the dressing room and he did not have pockets so he left his wallet on the table/chair thing that's provided. We left and we're visiting family until we noticed he never grabbed it. We called and instantly they said "no wallet". Not even tried to check or anything. We went in the morning and went to through the customer service. We waited 45 minutes just to even get a manager and when she finally came she pretended to act concern. We told her what happened and she left to go "check" and never returned. Her employee told her "oh she's over there if you need her" and we look over and she's just wandering around not even checking? We we're approaching her and she just yelled "no wallet". She couldn't even check nor even came to us if she did check and at least tell us it's not here. Everyday that week my boyfriend went in and asked if anyone found anything and they all say the same thing. FINALLY today my boyfriend went in and asked and a gentleman said it was found since the day it was lost. Walmart refused to check and have some remorse. I feel that wasn't fair why did it take two weeks for him to get his wallet. HIS wallet. I'm so disappointed in their management and customer service. We would have had to b pay 1,000 dollars for documents for him that he already head that walmart management just wanted to keep because they are lazy and unprofessional. This place is a dump. If you want to be stressed from shopping this is for you. Hard to find items especially kids clothing. Could NOT find sizes because it would have taken me all day to find where size 7/8 were located. Everytime I come here I throw up a little in my mouth. Its such a hard choice either here at this Wal-Mart or the run down Target a mile over. I like their selection here but half the time they are out of something or the whole deptartment is in chaos. I looked the other day and they have 30 registers up front. I have never even seen half of those open. Every time I am here it does not matter the time of day there are always huge lines. I always end up going to electronics and buying my stuff at that register. Seriously I wish I had a little more choice on where to buy my retail stuff in the Oxnard area. Walmart is located on the Rose and Gonzales intersection. Parking is always a beezy because everyone shops there. A lot of the aisles are disorganized, dirty and just straight up effed up like it's Black Friday due to customers and/or their wild children. Speaking of children, they're annoying at Walmart. I wanna get through shopping around the super center but they are unaware of everyone else and get in the way! And on top of being really crowded no matter what time or day you go, the lines to pay takes up another 20 minutes of your time with usually half the registers open :( Other than that, Walmart is Walmart that has everything you need at reasonable to very low prices (with my extreme couponing lol). It gets 2 stars for that at most. read more

Recently I came to this walmart for some groceries and clothes. When we went to go pay the cashier didn't know how to speak spanish, I needed to translate to my parent so she can speak to her. We also helped the person in-front of us with translating. She took very long bagging the groceries and she didn't know how to bag the items correctly, Most of our groceries were smashed. She asked us if we wanted the hangers on our clothes and we replied no and she still left the hangers with the clothes. I don't remember the cashiers name but she had a land yard with writing on it that said "I love Jesus". This is the WORST Walmart don't go to their service center. my boyfriend needed to get his oil changed for his car and they told him after 30 minutes of waiting that they "couldn't do it" but we had went somewhere else and they did it with NO PROBLEM.
