I am leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0 stars. This Walmart is not focused on customer service, at all. I had my oldest daughter, who is twenty one, go in to buy me alcohol, she took her younger sister with her and they wouldn't sell it because her younger sister was with her. So, I went in and I took my daughter with, so she could point out the person who checked her out or wouldn't allow it. I spoke with her and asked her for the 2 bottles they wouldn't sell to my daughter, and she wouldn't sell them to me. I am going to be 50 in july 2026. Really?!?!? What crappy customer service! Never in my life have I had such a bad experience at a Walmart in my life. I even asked them to call the cops and bring them there. I don'tbelieve there is such a law back in Waukesha, where I live. At 5:21 p. m. I was checked out at your Oshkosh Walmart store by the ID person 7SKWH3HH8Hp. The person who was checking us out did not seem to know how to give us credit on our United health Care cards, because we were charged $41.81 for the Multi vitamins and other health products we bought. Some people have a need to put honey in their drinks for good health and we were even charged for the honey that we bought $14.26. We want 66.07 credit for our next purchase in your store. read more

The Walmart in Oshkosh, WI is in need of a good shake down. I have to go at least once a week and every time I do there are many people walking around without masks, employees wearing masks UNDER their noses, and I even witnessed an unmasked person asking an employee for directions to find something and the employee never once mentioned their supposed strict mandatory mask policy. When I asked a manager about this they simply told me, "People will do what they want" so I will not be doing ANY in store shopping as long as they won't take the public safety seriously by training the employees properly and enforcing their own rules. read more

I have covid and I sent someone with a walmat gift card with more then enough money to get the items I needed. They went thorugh the check out and the person working check out had no idea what they are doing and couldn't use it. Now I have to pay them back with cash instead of using the gift card I had provided for them the pay with. Train your employees better or pay a living wage and get more skilled employees. read more

Wow. A woman made my niece literally cry. She's lucky I didn't get her name. I would have seriously reported her. My niece put a big mask back on the shelf, if fell off but my niece didn't notice that. I here huffing behind us. An older blond woman (short hair, rude ass face) goes "you dropped something." So my niece apologizes because she genuinely felt bad about dropping it. And the woman glares at her, huffs, turns and puts it in a cart and pushes it away. I wanted so badly to go get her name. Honestly that's unacceptable behavior for anyone working in any store, I know. I work customer service. It just sucked so see someone treat my niece so poorly. If you're in the oshkosh area, drive to the Neenah store. It's worth the extra bit of time to get there because the store is cleaning, has more friendly staff, and is better stocked than Oshkosh anyways. read more

Had a horrible visit to newly remodeled store. Store was bright and clean and had a new and easy to use layout. Problem was with customer service. At check out we had 3 Walmart branded gift cards bought through my church gift card program. The register cashier was unable to get 2 of the 3 to operate and spent several minutes trying and we swiped and reswiped each card multiple times. Finally we used a credit card and the cashier directed us to "customer service". Here the staff was both rude and uncooperative. after explaining how cards are "deactivated" at airports etc and repeated being told we recently bought theses, the representative tried to determine the balance and then we waited while she had to have a another staff member assist her, and they she verified 1 of the cards. Then started all over on the second and yes repeated her "deactivation" speech. then we waited again while once more another staff had to "over ride" her station to see the balance. This time it was "Team lead" Anna, Now with BOTH cards verified with a Balance ($10 and $25) she directed us back to the cashier line and said if they did not work we should "contact a manager". I explained we alreay were in the cashier line and unable to use them and were directed here. She explained she was unable to do anything more. On the way out of the store, I saw "Team Lead" anna and asked why once the amounts were verified why we could not get the cash from the cards. She replied "those cards could be for any place you could have got them in the parking lot." I explained they were branded Walmart cards and the amount was verified right in front of her. She then explained "I am done for the day and you will have to see a manager". She then turned her back on me and left the store. read more

I've been to many Wal-Mart stores and the customer service is all the same. Their employees are just not happy to be there. The self check out is fine and that's what I use when I have to go, but I typically only go here when I absolutely need something and everything else is closed. I tried to return something once and the girl scanned it and told me it's not in their system, but the same item was on a shelf, i pointed it out to her. She said there's nothing she can do if it's not in their system. I asked to speak to a manager and she just said no and walked away. Another time, I was buying a few things and didn't realize until check out that I didn't have my debit card, my fault, but the clerk was so annoyed, I even offered to put my stuff back on the shelf and she just snapped at me. This behavior is common at most wal-mart stores I have been to though so I come to expect it read more

So, we had stopped in on Friday, 6-19, to purchase a video. I work for a competitor, but my son preferred Walmart's packaging and price better. We originally was going to use the self checkout, but the line was seven or eight people deep and I had noticed that the cashier at lane 1 had no one there. So, we went there to have her check us out. I made a small joke that we would be checked out faster with a cashier than at the self checkout. With that, the cashier dropped our video into the bag with a hard thud and gave us the harshest attitude. As a cashier myself, I would have joked along, agreed, and been light-hearted about it, but this girl . . . I understand about bad days, as a cashier, my customers would never know it from me. I didn't choose to shop there for attitude. I am just glad that the video wasn't damaged in any way. read more

Obviously, this being a Supercenter, this Walmart has practically one of everything on the premises. Hair, check. Nails, check. Optical, check. Automotive servicing, check. Subway, check. Groceries, check. All the usual crap that Walmart has and more, check. The parking lot is usually nuts, so I follow the "just park" method and hoof it in from wherever. Now, the greeters here sit on stools and are about the least friendly Walmart greeters I've ever seen in my life -- I don't think one of them has ever even tried to talk to me. The store is, obviously, HUGE, so if you're looking for something, pick a direction, start walking, and hope you're not going the opposite way of what you need. Selection is generally decent, even in the grocery section, and of course prices, the reason we're all here, are Walmart low. Keep in mind, even if you only need two items, checking out can take a while. They offer express lanes, but in my experience, the lines don't move very quickly, for whatever reason. I wouldn't come here if I was in a hurry, or honestly if I didn't need very much. While it's a newer and nicer Walmart, it's still a Walmart and all that entails. Is it my favorite place? Absolutely not. Does it sometimes have just what I need? Yup. read more

This review is biased to one particular visit, on the '20 Super Bowl day. I was leaving the store with my groceries before heading into work (yes ... I have been working a lot), and I suddenly found that the cashier is running to me! I forget her name ... I want to state Tina or Mary ... or a similar shorter name like that. Anyway, she brought a bag that I didn't realize I left on the bag carousel!! On top of that she took full responsibility for it, and gave me such a great impression. Placed my pick up order for groceries (that I am in dire need of) yesterday at 7pm. The only option available for pickup was 9-10pm today so I selected that as my pickup time. I see on the app around 9pm that there's a delay in my pick up, so I call for more information because there was no alternate time that I was given to come get them. The first time I called the guy who answered the phone said he would transfer me to pickup, but instead I was put on hold for a little bit then transferred to electronics for some reason, where I was then told I would actually be transferred to pickup. The phone wrung for a while and then they hung up on me leaving me with absolutely no answers. So I then called back again. This time a girl answered and I explained the issue. She basically told us that all of the curbside pick up people went home for the night and basically said we're shit outta luck and that should try and call tomorrow. What I'm wondering is why would they have 9pm-10pm as a pick up option if they are going to leave before the designated pick up time? read more

I actually don't like to shop at Walmart but their deals are so good that I can't help it with a lot of my products I need. They have a really good grocery selection and animal supplies. I steer clear of the toy section because I always have kids with me. It is kind of hard to find a worker sometimes but I use the Walmart app and I can find anything in the store that way. The checkout ladies are in gentlemen are very nice and friendly. I recommend the people don't like the way Walmart does business. read more

2 bottles laundry soap,toilet paper, paper towels, hair dryer, bag cat food, and milk. These are all the things your checker in asile 5 today assumed I did not want bagged. My husband actually had to grab all of this and bag it. Seriously do you really think I wanted to carry all of this free hand. Not to mention he piled a bunch of stuff on top of my tomatoes. Only good thing I've experienced here...people watching, it's free entertainment. To be fair and honest, I used to shop Walmart 1-2 times weekly. In time I found that a lot of stress in my life actually came from the dreaded trips to Walmart. The shoppers: Generally smelly, stinky, unclean, loud, rude, ignorant, cheap, will yell spit and scream at employee's over stupid unimportant things such as there 5cent off coupon expired. The employee's: People rag on them so much, most of the employee's I have dealt with are polite, nice and friendly. Why? Because I approach them with a positive attitude mentally and physically. The cashiers can tell a lot from your body language. They are human too and just want to be treated nicely. The bad part: The rude/lazy employee's, usually arrogant self-absorbed power hunger lazy CS managers or whatever they are called. Why? In almost every incident at shopping at this location regardless of time and day, very few lanes open, bunch of managers standing around talking, laughing and not doing anything. They won't open more lanes even with 20+ people waiting. Often times there is 1 lane open, self-checkouts closed (at night). One particular case they have ZERO lanes/lights on and self-checkouts were closed. Seriously? One particular older male CS is just a rude prick. He talks down to many cashiers, condescending and does all this right in front of customers. Okay I sound really negative I'm sure but this is the Walmart experience, stressful and negative. More negative: Horrible produce the majority of the time year round, lots of rotten or foul produce. Prices are high in many cases and for such low quality. Meats, pretty poor quality on most red meats, okay quality on some white. Bakery, I give props too, they actually do a pretty good job on most things. Selection through-out entire store is not that great anymore. Many things are no longer carried since the remodel, many out of stocks frequently. Many prices on groceries are high, higher than many other places in town. Unless you go crazy with coupons, I save more shopping Target believe it or not. Positive: Not much but, some items I can't find elsewhere are at this Walmart. Some items are indeed cheaper, but not many. Convenience of finding almost everyone in one stop. Price matching, return policy, clean store usually and open in many areas. Ultimately, between dealing with the public and all the other negative things, shopping here is generally unpleasant and I leave with anxiety, stress and disgust. Thanks to the nice cashiers however who, even through all my feelings of negativity, are polite and helpful. Make's a difference when you don't take it out on them. read more

It's Walmart. I expect it to be meh but the third shifters here make me never want to shop here again. I work all day and have to come at night. I have literally been shoved out of the way before by a third shift employee trying to stock shelves. They block aisles and are very rude to customers. 1 employee said hi to me once and I thanked him for being the only one. Also, I know everyone jokes about how they never have any registers open, but at night they only ever have the 20 items or less line open. When I'm trying to do a full grocery shopping trip, where am I supposed to go? Managers will literally stand there staring at you and refuse to help you at all. read more
