The store manager, Brian, was very helpful and let me use his phone to contact a family member to "rescue" me. I was offered food, drink, and a chair while I waited. The staff person, Terri, checked with me to make sure I was ok several times. The person handing out food samples, Susie, also offered me support (along with food samples) and was a very positive and consoling person. Kwik Trip employees and staff rate high on my list. I always feel safe going there which is a plus for a single woman. I love the consistency of great customer service I've seen in every single Kwik Trip I have visited. I wish more places would spend the time to teach their own staff that customers are not a disruption of their jobs, but they ARE their jobs, I have a Kwik card too and it's great to be able to go online and see all my activity and pay my bill online, and if I have a question or concern, some excellent person makes it right immediately, courteously, and the first time. Asked if they were refilling and they said "we only put soup on the bar". I showed them the Mac & Cheese sign on the bar then they said they would not refill it due to waste. Was shown some tiny dried out pre packed cups of Mac & Cheese on the warming tables. Just left to find food elsewhere. Sad because KT use to be very customer service oriented.

My recommendations: The soda there is alright and has a slightly distinct flavor but isn't noticeable unless you are a true soda connoisseur. The mochi tastes like edible rice bubblegum with the taro filling reminding me of a coffee, perhaps latte. It's a must try. My favorite so far has to go to the pocky sticks because they make a great snack for one or even two if you get creative.
