This review will NOT be altered, paid off to delete, etc. April 10th, 2026-5:23pm, I decided to contact Walmart Super Center: Hudson, MA in regards of placing a cake order for a juvenile themed birthday cake for July 5th, 2026 at 4:30 pm. I was planning on purchasing a two tier cake, with the character of choice, a specialty filling in each layer, and 72 cupcakes. I had been chasing since April 10th, 2026, and in May, I began calling TWICE a week. I even contacted Corporate to express my dismay in this location. Nothing was done. I contacted a former employee friend of mine who worked at this location, they said to contact the DM and provided me with the number and I was told by the DM they no longer were the DM because they were fired for correcting consumer complaints. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!! I toke my what would have been $115.91 order, to BJ's Wholesale Club instead. People don't have time to wait for "Ghost" stores to not have any employees. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to in my life. I thought I've seen ghetto, but this is bad. Everything is misplaced, it is so hard to find what you need in the seasoning aisle. Does taco seasoning not exist here? The cheese selection is limited. No fat free cheese. Same thing with ground beef. Everything is limited. This has got to be one of the worst Wal Marts out there. The store is cluttered with narrow aisles and associates with their hand trucks constantly in the way of the customers and will not move out of the way. The store is always out of stock of many items and the employees are not friendly nor do most of them speak english. There are only 3 to 4 self checkouts open at a time even though there are many more available and the employees or "watchers" just stand there looking at their phones.This store needs a big change of management and the way its run or just be closed down completely. Well I do believe I would never go there shopping for clothing because it is low end. It might be quite low price, but guess what the quality of it is low and you're never satisfied with the way it fits or the way it looks and after you wash it, it most often loses the shape and please don't ever ask me to buy a pair of shoes there I will not and then a few years back you did quite a bit of renovation, which is very disturbing what you did it looks very organized years ago but now it's undescribable filthy looking what you did to it was very unpleasant. I do not like it and why do you insist on someone standing by the door looking at my receipts sorry just install one of those security machines that turned off alarms if stuff is unpaid for why waste money and time on someone just standing there it's annoying and your Customer Service is disgusting. The woman that walked behind the counter had red hair and believe me it wasn't her natural color and she wasn't the nicest person in the world. She was rude and obnoxious. She needs to be removed from Customer Service and placed back in the toilet cleaning them because she is very disgusting. I would never recommend this woman to go to and your customer service. It is very low end very undescribable annoying we are trying to return something you walk up to this woman and she ask you 2 billion questions while you're trying to get it and then she said this is not my area totally annoying what annoying place to go. I would never want to experience this person ever again and then at times you go there and you see the most obnoxious people in the world. You don't know why they're there specially when you're looking for something and you're there alone and all of a sudden a group of people are near you exactly where you are and it gets very crowded at times. I purchased 2.5 dozen cupcakes for a baby shower. I was able to place my order and pay in advance which made the whole process super easy The staff was friendly helpful and efficient as well I ordered an assortment of cream filled chocolate and vanilla cupcakes the cupcakes were fresh and yummy The buttercream frosting was also fresh and delicious in shades of light and dark pink with matching sprinkles In addition I ordered 12 white cupcakes filled with strawberry with beautiful white buttercream also fresh and yummy . In total I ordered 60 cupcakes for the unbelievably low price of 50.00 !! I can't say enough good things about my experience .. We all have family we all have functions ( showers graduations , birthdays ...) I think that Walmart should hire people that speak English and nowhere products are. Everyone deserves to work but they also need to learn the language it's frustrating when you ask an associate a question and they tell you they don't speak English or don't understand it's ridiculous. They should give classes to learn English and the products because there are a lot of people that shop at Walmart and Walmart's around the state. It shouldn't be just about hiring and making the money it should also be about with the customers want because without the customers there is no money made. Also the checkouts are ridiculous you close all of them and leave only five open when there are people that buy a lot of products and food and the paper bags should also be a little more stronger than they are. Due to hi theft rates all self serve cash registers are 15 item or less and have a bunch of "watchers". Only 2 registers for everyone in the store at 3pm on a Sunday. The line was ridiculous. I'm done with this store. read more

Hassled by homeless guy who had an iPhone 14 as I entered the parking lot. Then hassled by what looked like 25 year old"students" raising money for their football team. (Which then changed to basketball team as I left later.) They came up to my car, I said I'm not interested and they kept pushing it, "Come on mannnn." I went into the store they asked me again then leaving the store two more times. Why would I ever go to this Walmart where I have to be uncomfortable and have strange men come up to my car with my two kids in it? I'm honestly not one to complain, but, after today, I will not be returning to Walmart. We needed a few things for our new place and wanted self check out as it's very easy and convenient to get in and out. As we walked up, one of the associates told us you have to go down to the other register because you have too many items. (About 25) The one and only register with 6 people in line. I looked down completely baffled. Is this something new? I said as we walked over. I hear him say, this is all I have to do for my job is turn people away for too many items. Really!?? Finally a second register opened with one lady following the cashier, not quite sure how it was ok for her to cut the line. Already irritated from waiting so long I waited behind her, for my turn seeming like eternity. Only to realize she was putting things back and deciding what she should get. Maybe she didn't have enough money, idk. I totally get it. But, for me to not be able to use self check out is absolutely ridiculous. What could have been 5 minutes, turned into atleast a half hour. Absolutely not ok!!! You should not be turning people away from paying on their own if you can't accommodate the other registers accordingly. Doesn't even deserve one star. read more

Go occasionally for a few items that are a little cheaper. Walmart in Hudson is closest to me. Never a cashier, confusing about bags and sometimes no bags are available and you have to carry your items in the cart out to the car. Dirty store that gives me the jeebies! This is a broken LG TV that Walmart delivered to us!!! We bought this TV for our 6 year old granddaughter's birthday. Never opened the box in March because we never had an issue with Walmart merchandise. We wrapped it up and my son in law plugged it up a couple of weeks ago this is how the picture looks. I spoke with a Rep from Walmart and he said it is not covered since it's past 90days; he said call LG they will help us given there is a year warranty on their TV's. I opened up a case with LG and they said it is not covered because it's has a broken panel. So now my 6 year old granddaughter is out of a TV (WALMART DOESN'T CARE) and we are out of money. read more

I am beyond furious right now. I'm not even sure how a business can operate at the rate and continue to function. I do grocery pick up every week in Leominster. The one time I choose Hudson for their different products my pick up time is rescheduled BY THEM 3 times! It's curbside pickup. It's supposed to be on my time. Even on the last set time I checked in and waited 2 HOURS IN THE LOT with three other cars waiting with me. No calls answer and every button pushed. Never TF again. read more

first things first. 28 registers 5 in total open. 23 of them are self check and only allow 15 times or less through self check. Out of the 5 regular registers there are only 2 open. I have been standing in line for 25 minutes on a Thursday afternoon. and the same 3 people have been standing in front of me. WALMART, CLOSE IT DOWN. Was reading the other reviews & was a little irritated... ITS WALMART, you know what you are going to get... Dont go in there expecting perfection & then come here & complain about it... I tend to like this Walmart, whenever Im in Marlboro with the BFFs we go in & I have no issues, however Im also not spoiled with one near my house & the ones I have to choose from are Quincy & Lynn (so I think any Walmart would kick ass if those are your 2 choices) They are in the middle of a renovation to make it a Super Walmart (or just one that sells food)... This is the worst grocery store I have ever been too. The store itself is a wreck. You can't find what you are looking for and they don't have many items that any Walmart should have. The store charged me twice on my credit card, when I went to customer service I was told I had to come back in 10 days, then wait another week, then wait til next month. So, this is 3 times I've been back for the same problem. On the 4th time I waited 40 minutes for the "manager" who never even bothered to come to the desk. Finally, someone spoke to her in the phone and she said I had to call my credit card company. This is after I wasted about 2 hours on this problem and she couldn't even be bothered to apologize. After 1 month of going back there again and again just to tell me to call my bank. WTH? Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't come here that often but when I do it's typically for household items, cleaners, craft items or even Garden supplies. Sometimes I will venture and buy grocery items depending on what I forgot to buy during my food shopping. Anyway, they're currently going through some sort of re-modeling inside of the store for a better shopping experience.(per their signage) Well, I could not find the things I was looking for because everything was moved to other areas. So instead of taking me just 5-10 minutes in and out it took me 15-20 minutes. Walking around aimlessly of course couldn't find anyone to ask and then when I was going to I found the items I needed. I did self check out which I'm getting to be pretty good at and I was out on my merry way. The place is always crowded mind you I went on a Thursday afternoon. But overall good place to come to get those last minutes things forgotten, but give yourself extra time until they get through this remodeling time. read more

I love when I order 2 kids bikes online and receive at the in-store pickup.....one floor model and one opened and damaged box. The girl asked me if I wanted to check for all the parts while standing there. No I will not assemble the bike while people wait behind me in line. She was nice but it's not her fault that your inventory system is flawed. I'll call back when I'm missing parts which we both know will happen. I only used Walmart's grocery delivery service once last week and it was awful. Really awful. This Walmart is an amazing place to shop it was an even better place to shop when my very dear friend Erika worked there. She made Walmart worth every visit and she was always such an amazing help and always so kind and genuine. This Hudson Walmart is not the same place without her so I always shop at the Walmart in Northborough now because it's so sad in this store without her. It's like when some one is gone it's not the same place. But I will still leave 5 stars because a majority of there staff is still awesome just not amazing as Erika. Two worst experiences: 1. Online pickup line and customer service dept boards are separate but serviced by same person...huge annoying waits, overworked, underpaid employees. 2. Had a deep pothole open up in parking lot. No warning signs and tire burst immediately it hit the hole. They are now making me go in loop with their crappy insurance company CMI. Avoid walmarts as much as you can...don't fall for saving a few pennies. read more

I rarely shop at Walmart. Since I'm reviewing a specific store and not the company I can tack on a few stars. Pros: I find that the quality and selection for meat, bakery items, and produce are surprisingly good. One stop shopping when I'm pressed for time. I've never encountered a rude employee at this location. Quite the contrary. Prices are comparably low. Cons: Disorganized and messy outside of the grocery aisles. Nobody seems to tidy up and put things back where they belong. Or restock regularly. The checkout lines are always too long unless you go first thing in the morning or late at night. If you're looking to get in and out quickly any other time, it's a gamble. It's Walmart. I'm not a Walmart snob, I just don't enjoy fighting crowds and long lines in a dirty store to save a couple of bucks. I'm just not a fan of big box stores in general, but Walmart is the worst. Still under construction, but looking better. Like bj's or target one item will be insanely cheap while they soak you for another. In the past this has been the dingiest saddest of the sad walmarts in western mass. It reeked of old subway cheese bread and broken dreams. I would give 0 stars if I could. This store deserves the worst rating possible when it comes to the food aisles in the store. Where it once was decent when they first started carrying a larger amount of food product it now fails. Shelves often remain under-stocked or just not stocked period. The bakery is is easily the most pathetic bakery area I've ever seen in a grocery store of any kind. It is quite messy with a bunch of product always being on the ground. Shelves are often stocked with just one kind of bread instead of multiple kinds like the shelf labels indicate. At this point not even the better prices might be able to keep us going there. I would think they would try to do good when it comes to stocking the food but often it seems they don't care at all. We go there frequently and often shelves look exactly the same for weeks at a time with wrong product stocked in the wrong locations or entire sections of aisles looking under-stocked for weeks at a time. This is not a new problem and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. read more

I have been a customer of this Walmart for 5 years and shop there every 2 - 3 weeks. Until recently, I liked it very much and found the customer service to be friendly and helpful. The renovations were inconvenient but didn't think it was a big deal until one night when a man in a yellow vest demanded my receipt on the way out. I was shocked and insulted. When they later installed the self check outs, I realized they were just gearing up for that. I'm not sure why they installed them if they think that it will turn their regular customers into thieves. Instead of installing a few self check outs for customer convenience, it is now the majority of checkouts and real cashiers are limited to 2 or 3 and they put the least experienced and slow staff on them (my theory is that is to force people to use the self checkouts out of frustration). Now they have the Pickup system so people don't have to come inside. Considering most people spend there money on extraneous items they come across while regular shopping, I'm not sure why they want to limit their profits this way unless to keep as many people out of the building as possible. So my regular Walmart has gone from friendly and convenient to a store that seemingly hates it's customers and staff. read more
