This is a full-stack Walmart and they had just what I needed and then some! I flew in from out of town and I realized that I forgot my reading glasses. I actually could have gone back to my hlise from the airport sknce there was a flight delay, but then I would have to go through secueoty all over again. I was already checled-in. So I came here this morning from my hotel to ger some ready glasses. I read code almost all day long several days per week, and I'm going to be gone for months. Buying new $10 reading glasses was my only reasonable option. They had three full racks of inezpensove reading glasses. They also had some of thise chicken wraps and other food deals that I also purchased. I'm glad that this Walmart is close to where I am staying. read more

Stopped by to get Bluey Tshirt and shorts for the girls, first they had dresses marked down and I ask the associate if all were marked down because the two sizes I had were marked regular price and she said ma'am if you download the app you can scan yourself and see if on sale. I approached another representative folding clothes in girls department and there were tops marked down and I ask if the shorts were marked down as well and she stated no and continued to talk on her cell phone. The biggest waste of my time. They won't let you check out pharmacy items in the main store and it takes them forever to respond to calls to get things out of locked cabinets. And of course, all the other items you may be purchasing cannot be checked out in the cosmetics cabinet or the pharmacy check out. Why make shopping harder? ? read more

This Walmart SuperCenter is the closest Walmart SuperCenter to Houston's Airport. (Hobby) The store has a pretty good selection of items. Overall, this Walmart store was clean, had wide aisles, and a McDonald's. I wasn't sure about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I was appalled to find that there wasn't any gallons of water available, except for one 3 quarts jug of water!! The employees weren't that eager or helpful when it came to helping me find certain items. Being dissatisfied with their poor customer service is why I have given this Walmart SuperCenter 3 out of 5 stars! read more

I ordered a photo at 2:00 today. Receipt stated that it will be done at 7:00 p.m. I called the store at 6:00 to make sure it will be ready at 7:00. I was reassured that it will be ready at 7:00. Get here at 7:00. The photo was not ready. Jo is the only cashier in the area. Customers are piling up. He has to continuously stop creating the photo to come back to the counter for customers assistance. I have been here an hour and a half now. Still no photo. At least 15 people have come and gone. I think employee should be able to call for help when needed. I should not be told that He will get in trouble if he don't ring the other customers up which means that he continued to stop and walk back over to the counter leaving my photo incomplete. It's only (1) photo. I'm still here waiting. And by the way I received a text message saying that it was ready over a half hour ago. Still here. Been two hours for (1) photo. This is completely unacceptable. He stated he never done a canvas 16x20 before and is watching the video. Training should be before being responsible for a department. Actually appreciate Jo's effort. Patience is a virtue, sighing. I feel that I absolutely deserve a discount. Nothing for free. This is very inconvenient to my schedule. At this point I don't even remember where I parked at when I do leave. Update: spoke with lead Famara. He displayed service excellence and was very apologetic. He did his best for damage control. I happen to be expecting a child and was looking with desperation for a customized cake for my "twinkle twinkle little star theme" for a baby reveal party & was having zero luck until I walked into Walmart's bakery section. I have had a cake made previously by the same person a year ago but I chose the Hello kitty style from the variety of selections in the binder provided by Walmart. Special thanks to Olga for making an excellent cake. She really goes beyond her title as just a baker. Words can't describe how much it meant for her to make my cake. I basically only come to Walmart for my dogs treat that's not sold anywhere else. Otherwise I wouldn't come here. The staff are never helpful because they're always busy trying to restock. I wish they would have a staff on the floor that can help customers find things. I shop mostly in H-E-B; on the H-E-B app,I can actually look at an item online and see what aisle it's in. I dread being at Walmart for this reason. Staff here have things they have to do and helping the customer finding something in the store isn't it. When I do come Herrera, I always get all of my items and go to the tire area. This area has a cashier and no line. Just know that they don't have a good scale so if ur buying produce, u have to wait in the lines at the front of the store. read more

I would definitely avoid this place at all costs. This place definitely gives the Walmart brand a very bad name. I bought the wrong printer ink for my printer, however I noticed it when the members did not add up on the box so I did not actually open the printer ink however I should have known something was amiss and would not go well when I got to the customer service department and one of the employees with yelling "you got me f$#$ed up!" They told me that the policy is anything over $25 you must have a receipt. No store credit, no exceptions. This is of course not Walmart policy, especially regarding unopened items still in the packaging, and I do have valid identification have not returned anything before. They refused without even checking my identification or return history or anything. I spoke with Miss Tonya who told me that the policy was anything's mg over $25 needs receipt, no exceptions. She said that was the policy per store manager named Jason. I requested a salaried member of management, and Jeanette, claiming to be an assistant manager also said this is their store policy. Bottom line this Walmart seems to have a policy that is far different than every other Walmart store. Looking back, it is not surprised after all that there was an employee actually cussing out loud in that department when I arrived. read more

What can I say? It's Walmart. Although I go here consistently for the best prices on produce, certain foods, and household goods, it's usually very busy and consistently has dirty floors and parking lots. The carts always seem broken (or maybe that's just my luck!). I do go here for dog foods that are the best price, even over Amazon. The Murphy's gas station in the same parking lot is also cheaper by 5-10¢ than other gas stations nearby, so that's a bonus. Overall, a convenient, but chaotic experience. read more

My wife has shopped at Wal-Mart for many years because their prices were low and quality was good. Today their quality is poor for the most part. Their dairy products almost never survive to the printed Best Buy date, milk is especially bad about souring before the date printed. Now they don't offer employee manned checkout registers. They have many self check out lines ,but don't offer a discount for using them. This in my opinion is just a means to earn more money without offering quality services. We have decided to start shopping @ H‑E‑B and found their prices as low for the most part quality and service much better and lot's of checkout lines manned by their staff. It is obvious to us H‑E‑B appreciates their customers more and are interested in having them return when needing groceries. I most heartily recommend H‑E‑B to anyone wanting value and service with quality for their hard earned money. read more

This place isn't considered the hood Wal-Mart for no reason, in fact its called that because look at the area its in and plus look at the customers. Most of the people who flock here act as if they've never heard of look at a mirror before you step outside the door. That's not even saying one thing, but also the fact that the employees themselves never heard of being nice, showing customer service such as helping a customer when they cannot reach something on the top shelf and learning how to open all the cash registers to serve the customers. I thought supermarkets and retail teach their employees that the customer comes first, not the other way around. Tell me why this particular place is always out of everything? Products are rarely fully stocked. Why does it always have to be a person outside begging for something? They even have the audacity to come near your vehicle when you're loading the car. Ladies, keep your purses close--you never know whose watching you in the parking lot. Oh and seriously the ped-x doesn't work well here, these people don't care. They will hit and run you over. Absolutely no-one stops for shoppers to cross. Even the garden center is filled with dead plants. The aisles are always cluttered; I don't understand why they cannot make them wider. It seems like the prices are a lot more expensive here than the one I regularly go to. Save yourself and don't shop at hood Wal-Marts. You've been for warned. read more

Today, i bought Hp ink 65XL, and came home. I opened the box, and inside is the empty cartridge 65 (not 65 XL) and it has been used, with missing seal. I came back, and see the women who sold me that, i tried to wait the line, until she had time, and talked to her, tried to explain. She told me very quickly as i am lier, she even don't listened to me, bad attitude ever. She shouted out. I tried to tell her, I just want my cartridge which paid by myself. But she didn't hear my talked. Her name is LUTICA or LUTILA. She is racist, show a lot of attitudes, the first thing she said when saw me was "go customer service to return, we don't do it here". Order some cards prints online. Went to pickup and no envelopes. Apparently, their photo department can't keep important items to customers stocked and available. Was looking at printers today, while an employee literally stood there and stared at me, while I was reading the specs listed on the box. Surely a printer would be hard to throw in my purse - I considered just standing there for a really long time, but the concentrated staring while directly facing me was too uncomfortable. Don't worry, walmart.. I won't give you my business if you don't want it... I've never known of any other company that gave so much free reign to disrespect customers on such a widespread and consistent basis - this makes me appreciate the decent, helpful, and genuinely kind employees. The customer service is terrible! I need one item and it was available but everything is lock on the rack I ask a associate can someone unlock it goes on to the department is close. Which is not what I asked at all plus its on a rack a regular rack in the section but lock mind you the body jewelry is 10 dollars which makes absolutely no sense to me. I didn't ask for anything in the case with "real jewelry" I need to replace a closing cap on trig piecing so it would fall off and close being that I just got the piercing. Then I ask the lady for the manager and she said I just talk to her. While waiting I was on the phone with my sister and time went by waiting 10 minutes now I proceeded to ask the lady again where is the manager she then said she's not coming I was in utter shock excuse me what ! I then stated ma'am why didn't you say that to early. Being defensive saying I didn't say that she was coming now ma'am I've been on the phone with my sister this whole time and even she hear you. Very frustrated at this point . Another workers steps I. stating ask a what I think is a dumb question. Because it doesn't matter what time it is right now I am customer and was told a manager was coming and now I wasted time because I know the store is closing soon. It literally take two seconds to get a item unlocked so a Consumer can PURCHASE the item. Makes no sense to me its on a Normal grab and go rack but this one was locked it's doesn't make any sense to me because nothing on it was more the 10 dollars. I was there two days ago shopping for supplies since there's the pay no taxes sale. I picked up washable markers that were mixed in with regular markers priced at .97¢. I grabbed four packages and went to pay when I was done. Turns out the washables where there by mistake and it wasn't just those packages there were loads of them in that bin. The cashier was slightly rude, and refused to give them to me for the price advertised. This isn't the first time this has happened with them getting stuff mixed up in the wrong places and the prices being completely different. read more

I really hate shopping at Wal-mart, especially this store. Honestly, the only reason I shop at Wal-mart at all is because they sell Palmer's Shea Butter Formula w/ Vitamin E. I love this stuff! I agree with Jennifer T. & Judy A.'s reviews. The store is poorly organized. It's crowded and the parking lot is trashed. Seriously. This store really pissed me off. Last year, I was looking for a wedding outfit for my young son. I was pregnant at the time and it was hot so I called several stores ahead of time. This store being one of them. They told me they had suits. I asked if they would check for me. They put me on hold and supposedly checked. I went to the store and they didn't have anything in stock. I told one employee in charge of the children's area. She told me I should have gotten the name of the person I spoke to. Yes, I should have. I have to say, she could have at least apologized. She did not. I went to another manager and told them that they lacked good customer service and I didn't appreciate being reprimanded by the other lady I spoke with in the children's section. Lessons were learned. Always get everyone's name when you call. The time you called and blah, blah, blah so you can hold people accountable when they mess up. The Walmart at 9895 Rowlett road in Houston Texas, only has one cash register in the whole freaking store that accepts cash payments. If you do not have a credit card debit card or EBT card you will stand in line to pay with cash and when I say stand in line I mean this line usually has about 10 to 15 people in it because that's the only register in the store that takes cash. I am traveling and have been to many Walmarts in the last month and I have not seen this in any other store and this was at 10:30 am in the and the store was actually busy. If I didn't know any better I would think that the management just don't want to count the cash they don't want to count their registers it's pure laziness I have never seen any store allow a line to get that long and make us customers wait. Management should be audited on their duties because somebody has dropped the ball and can't seem to pick it up. It all boils down to VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more
