I really enjoy checking out Walmart stores in different states because they usually have unique T-shirts that feature designs related to each state. Arizona was no exception to this. I was especially drawn to a bright yellow T-shirt that had a gorgeous cartoon-style picture of the Grand Canyon along with cacti. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing about three different shirts. While shopping, I also came across Tastykake products, which we do not have or usually find in California. I ended up buying two boxes of them. They reminded me of Hostess mini cake products, but in my opinion, the Tastykake treats were much tastier. The Walmart store in Flagstaff was very busy during the weekend. Because of how crowded it was, the parking situation was a bit chaotic. read more

Nice evening visit, hardly anyone in the store. This is such a friendly Walmart. I love being able to breeze thru and get some charcuterie snacks for dinner or grab some yogurt and berries for breakfast. Tonite I got all my favorite health protein work snacks so I can eat quick while slaying at my job. I posted couple pics of my protein snacks... I forgot to get the protein ball so next time I'll grab those. I love the Built coconut bars and they usually only have few boxes in that flavor. read more

I managed to somehow forget one of my bags of stuff at the store and came back the next day with my receipt to the customer service they asked manager what to do over the radio system you could hear manager saying " take care of customer" the issue was it wasn't logged in their normal logbook, but I really appreciate the manager making sure that the customer is first! I was able to get the same product again and the situation was handled within 10 minutes! Don't know the name of the person that was working on customer service. It was at 2 PM, but he did a wonderful job and was so so sweet to every customer. He talk to a great representation of the company. read more

All right, I'm convinced. I went to this Walmart, looking for RV batteries, having been told that they were much less expensive than at O'Reillys. Wow, did I save a bundle! I also did my grocery shopping since I was already there. I have been so upset about how expensive groceries cost that what I paid at the cash register for my groceries stunned me! The groceries I bought at Walmart cost me $75, but would've cost north of $125 at Safeway. Will always do my grocery shopping at Walmart after this. read more

Change your policy about opened items cannot be returned! How does one know the item is bad if it is not opened. And retrain your store managers on customer service. Most that I've encountered were incompetent and not very customer oriented. read more

Super easy to access and loved the covered parking especially in 100+ degree weather! I would dare to say this Store has the best view from a Walmart parking lot in the nation, although I don't make it habit of visiting every walmart I come across. read more

Corporate and leadership please read! This store has the laziest people I've ever seen. It is now 8am, I've been at this store since 5am. Why are employees not greeting customers? Why are employees eating on sales floor? Why are employees hiding in garden avoiding work? I'm pretty sure walmart covers alot of basics in orientation, all being ignored at this store. Most Walmart's are the same statewide except for a few changes. For instance, this one's par the course with offerings of winter items and hunting merch, compared to the desert store that I usually frequent. Small parking spaces and tight lanes but okay....but the storm's location makes it ideal. Worth a look. read more

It was hard to find the item I was looking for. There were empty spaces and items in the wrong place.

Nice store, they don't trust you to buy your make-up though, it's a separate transaction. I'm pretty sure they have to walk you out to your car with it, so annoying. And be forewarned, you have to get a cart outside, they never brought them in today, maybe not yesterday's either, there were only two in the store. We checked ourselves out because that was basically the only choice we had. It's ok, it's Wal-Mart. I'd spend my money at Target if I lived up here though. read more

I came here to grab some groceries, and they have a wide variety. I grabbed some tomatoes, mushrooms which were on sale, brussels sprouts which weren't the freshest, bell peppers, and spicy guac; I really like the spicy guac they make here, as it's thick and spicy. Good prices as usual, lots of choices for items, self checkout lines make the process fast. read more

JUST SAD. This Walmart is in some serious need of an overhaul on looks and service. We came in to get a few things for breakfast the next day. When you walk in it just feels like the place has been rode hard and put away wet. The food items looked picked over or old. We settled on a few items and I decided to stop in at the bathroom which I should have waited because it was just as nasty and smelled. The best part about this place was leaving it. read more

The store manager social distancing well. Each cart was washed as it was returned, and offer to be washed if it taken from a patron. The roads were not indicated to be one way only, and it was not a big problem but at times I will head to be avoided. As always they have what you need even got toilet paper. Yesterday's visit could have gone SO much better. I went in there with limited time available. The sports drinks (Gatorade) were not on the aisle marked "Sports Drinks" but were two aisles away. The moist wipes were nowhere near the toilet paper. There were no bandage scissors with the bandages. I have no idea where the razors were. They were not in the Personal Care section. Consequently, I was not able to get everything on my list and get back to the hospital before visiting hours ended. Y'all in Walmart need to get your store straightened out! read more

Every time I come to this Walmart the lines to checkout are ridiculously long, they will be out of stock of multiple things that I need, and it will be a mess. Even the store organization makes no sense, I walked around near the pharmacy for like 20min before I could find the razors, I understand the need for extra security but why is it behind a wall of thanksgiving food? What about that says "behind this wall is razors and other bathroom things" It's nice that the Funko pop section is typically stocked though. read more

Update around 6pm 12/5/19 -this evening Nick Sersasmo (probably spelled it wrong) called me and let me know he was working on this. This is why I will give this store more than one star. Another team member was able to help Nick close out the layaway, however the payment we made was never put towards my layaway on 11/30. This happened because they accepted the payment but didn't apply it to my layaway. He was able to fix this and get a receipt printed. I want to thank Nick for caring, and being patient with me while I was frustrated. He fixed this situation and it is now resolved in regards to the layaway issues. As far as customer service at this store, there is a lot to improve. They should be more parting and understanding to folks, especially when the store associates are responsible for the screw ups in the first place. I stood my ground that I had done nothing wrong and was disrespected by Terina who is a co-manager and I felt "blown off" by Mark the store manager. Vivian from day one and Nick today were extremely helpful associates. I believe both are CSM. I'm thankful this is over, but I feel these folks need to go through training again on customer service and how to deal with situations like this with layaways & payments. So much unnecessary stress over a situation I knew was not my fault from the get go. I want this store to be accountable for their error. 12/5/19 - Regarding a layaway purchase, Store manager refuses to fix this issue and passes it off to co-manager who screamed at me over the phone today-5 days after my final layaway payment. There was a fire hours after I put my items on layaway. I was assured they'd be fine and I damaged which was a lie. They deleted water damaged items off my layaway and then I made my final payment. They did not print a receipt with the 11 items I paid over 900 for. They refuse to fix this and print me a receipt claiming they can't print anything different the system won't allow them to. They also claim I owe 1200 on layaway still when I don't. I've even filed a civil police report because I have all of my proof of money paid to them, with a breakdown of the 11 items cost + warranty cost + tax and it totals the same as what I paid them. They had the nerve to say I didn't pay for anything, yet they let me leave the store with it all on 11/30. The co-manager Terina walked me out the front door with my layaway I paid for too. I'm so angry, I've contacted corporate who keeps emailing Mark, the store manager who keeps brushing it off. Today around 3pm, co-manager Tarina went off on me because I got frustrated trying to explain to her I can't use an initial layaway receipt 10/18 as proof of purchase. I needed the final payment receipt 11/30 showing zero balance left. She yelled at me stating "we can't print it, there's nothing we can do for you anymore" while I'm having an anxiety attack on the phone due to my medical disability, I feel I have been discriminated against. Since 11/30 I have had nothing but nasty people on the phone from this store. Nobody understands the frustration this has caused someone with severe medical issues and anxiety. If they ever fix this I will update my review but as it stands, I'm an upset customer who did absolutely nothing wrong but spend what little I had there for my daughters birthday and Christmas. read more

This Walmart is very limited in the women's and junior's clothing sections. I was a bit surprised and I'm not sure if all Walmarts are scaling back or if it was just this store. While I didn't grocery shop, I did walk through the fruits and veggies section and they were stocked well. This store was clean and hand sanitizer was readily available near the front of the store. Like most Walmarts, this store is easily accessible with ample well lit parking. read more

Nice, new, Super Walmart so it has an extensive grocery section. Staff is friendly enough, prices are not as super-cheap as you might expect - the grocery prices were in many examples comparable to the local grocery stores. Also their selection was a little narrower than some of the local grocery stores. Last comment - the city did them no favors with access from the North. You can't easily turn into their parking lot - you end up having to drive all the way past the place, then make two lefts to get into the far end of the parking lot. It's almost as bad leaving to go South. They need to petition for an improved traffic pattern. read more

Arghhh!! Used to be a very regular Walmart shopper until I heard how the company treats many of their employees. Been doing my best to avoid shopping at any Walmart since then. I have been very bad on our Arizona roadtrip. Our relatives love Walmart. We went to this specific location 3 times! Yes, I must confess that even I bought something. Could not pass up on the cheaper prices than the competition. This Walmart was much cleaner and organized than most other locations that I have seen in the past. Even the staff was nice and helpful. Maybe this branch treats their employees better than the other locations. They have got to improve their restrooms by the checkout counters. There were only two family restrooms. No separate mens and womens restroom. Other than that, no complaints. read more

Terrible. Was stopped at the register when trying to buy beer. The cashier COULD NOT tell me why be it she didnt actually know or she was told to to disclose the reason. Either way i had to call management to figure out why i was declined. Something about a straw purchase which ive come to understand is buying alcohol for a minor which my wife and i are not. 1 star for ignorance to the situation and a combative manager on the phone.
